Inspired by her flavorful travels, Candy DeBartolo set out to bring something different to North Tampa’s food scene: a dining destination where everything that happens around the table is considered sacred—a place where every detail matters. Together with her team of passionate experts, she opened Sacred Pepper to provide the community with new twists on classic favorites in an inviting atmosphere. Locally sourced ingredients and made-from-scratch pastas and sauces highlight a Contemporary American menu with dashes of Mediterranean flair. Cocktails are inspired by cultures from around the world as well as modern, traditional, and pre-prohibition tastes.

It was my first time but my husband and friends have been there before. We really enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely come back again. Thanks.
Outstanding service!! Food was Great & Sacred Pepper is a really beautiful restaurant.
Very cozy atmosphere. Excellent appetizers. Great food overall.
Sacred Pepper is and has been a favorite from the day it opened. The restaurant is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. The personnel on all levels are smiles and caring attention to what you need. The food is beyond description let's just say WOW.
Food, as always, was excellent. Service was slow and bar was slow
I have eaten at the Sacred Pepper several times, and each time I had a good experience. This time was an exception. There were five of us celebrating a birthday, and our food was disappointing to say the least. My pork chop was tough, another entree, chicken Barrera was awful. The chicken was over cooked, and covered in Brussels sprouts that tasted burnt. A pasta dish with brisket was just OK. The meat and sauce were good, but the pasta was undercooked. The server told us that they serve their pasta el dente, but this time it was vey chewy. The person who ordered it said it tasted like microwaved airline pasta. The other two orders were fine. To the manger’s credit, he personally came to our table and apologized for our poor experience. He listened carefully to our issues and promised to discuss them with the chef. He also comped us for the meals that were unsatisfactory and graciously provided us with desserts on the house. Now, that’s what I expect from a good restaurant. I chalked this night up to an exception, and we all were very impressed with the manager’s response. No excuses, just positive action. We will be back. One other issue that I will warn diners about is where not to sit - and that is anywhere near the bar. It is too noisy for a nice conversation, and the traffic is disconcerting. Book your table on the left side of the restaurant. It is more intimate and the wall absorbs the noise from the bar area. I will emphasize again the Sacred Pepper is an excellent restaurant. Exceptions happen, and the mark of a good business is how they react when something go wrong. In this case, they get 5 stars!
Appetizers were delicious but came out luke warm. Overall great experience as a first timer.Server Sydney was wonderful. Definitely be back.
Best pasta I've ever eaten. Amazing service and a live piano.
I had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant- this was my first visit and it lived up to the accolades.
We shared the crab cakes appetizer I had the halibut special and my daughter the short rib cavatelli both were delicious.
Atmosphere was wonderful with lives piano dinner music. Service was first rate.
We enjoyed our dinner so much I have already made reservations for next weekend to bring some out of town guests.
As always the food & service were outstanding. My wife & I shared the Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer which was great. I had the chicken parm & my wife had the short ribs with cavatelli. Both were delicious. Sean, our server was very attentive & has a great personality & demeanor. The Sacred Pepper is a gem.
Was referred by my Godson to dine here and so glad that I did! I give Sacred Peppers a 10+, 5⭐️ rating! SUPERB!! Drove from Kissimmee and definitely will be back! Started spreading the word to everyone that if are in the Tampa area, this is a MUST dine at place😊
Very enjoyable evening! Thank you.
This place is amazing and we always have a great time but somehow I ended up with a server that we had to ask for everything and he never checked on us
Early date night before another event. The food was delicious and our service was impeccable. Would definitely go again!
Amanda was awesome. Musician in bar went Seamlessly from. David Lee Roth, Luther vendors, U2 and Alabama. Always good.
Celebrated 2 birthdays last night. The service and food was outstanding. But the music from the bar was so loud I could not hear the people across the table speak. I cannot give 5 stars because the noise ruined the ambiance
As a first time guest I was wowed by the excellent food and great service. It was a fine dining experience to celebrate a birthday.
Food was delicious. Lobster stuffed shrimp appetizer was decadent. The sauce was like buttery lobster velvet. My daughter had prosciutto wrapped veal loin which was big in flavor, salty from the ham, and perfectly cooked. My GF had the halibut special, again cooked perfectly and smothered in sautéed spinach. I enjoyed the swordfish with lobster over broccolini. Always a great experience at the Pepper.
Food was pretty good and service was pretty bad
Beautiful place with awesome service and delicious food!
Excellent food, excellent service!
Always delicious and creative! Thank you for the great food and service. See you soon.
Place is gorgeous, food is always excellent and service was very good. Absolutely love this place.
While I truly love SP, I did not enjoy being seated in the bar area for dinner…fantastic music but way too loud to enjoy conversation. Food and service were superb.
Per usual our server was on point! And the food never disappoints!
It was nice
Went to celebrate my birthday, had a great time, great food and service
Enjoyed the live music! Great food and service. Defiantly recommend
The shareable plates of meatballs and pistachio crusted brie were just so delicious and flavorful. We enjoyed ourselves and will certainly be back for another Social Soirée visit !
Danielle our server was amazing! Food was fabulous
I have been here twice before and the food has always been very good. Apparently it was Ladies’ Night this last time I went and they had a live band, which was entirely too loud to hold a conversation. The place was packed with people, which made the service so slow to the point it was ridiculous. I was looking forward to one of their flatbreads, but they no longer had the one I like with mushrooms on the menu…disappointing because it is so good. Wouldn’t want to ruin Ladies’ Night, so I will try to remember not to go on Thursday next time.
2nd visit. First visit was on a Sunday and we LOVED the food. Amazing value. This visit on a Wed the food was very average and not worth the cost. Great service though.
Loved it! Will be back
