I rarely write a review, but everything about this wonderful restaurant was so superb: the service from every single staff member, the ambience, and of course the food ! Others had written 5/5 reviews on OpenTable and TripAdvisor, which led me to pick Atchafalaya Restaurant over the many restaurants in New Orleans. I hope my review will lead others to my now favorite restaurant there.

We allow online reservations only for parties up to 4 people. If you have a party of 5 or more, please call the restaurant to make your reservation, otherwise we may not be able to seat your party. We are allowing 2 hours dining time per table, so we cannot hold tables for parties that are late. There will be a 15 minute grace period allowed and then the table will be released. Please keep in mind that lounge and patio seating is also by reservation only.

Our first time and it won’t be our last. Service was excellent. One of the best Old Fashioneds we’ve ever had. We had calamari, the grouper special with crawfish and Parmesan polenta and the Veal Palermo. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious!
