We hope our dress policy is comfortable for all. Coats & ties are not required. Slacks, dress jeans, & dress shorts are great. We require that gentlemen wear a collared shirt. T-shirts, cut off shorts, & athletic wear, including baseball caps, are not permitted. We ask gentlemen to remove their hats in the Dining Room.

My wife and I were in New Orleans for our two year wedding anniversary and found GW Fins online and it got great reviews… and we 100% agree!!! From start to finish they took care of us, left a personalized menu wishing us happy anniversary, and our server was THE BEST! Dylan was so friendly and personable and explained the whole menu and just treated us like we were part of the family. Thank you so much for making our dinner extra special!!!

Our favorite dishes include, Char-grilled Oysters, Smoked Fried Oysters, Crawfish Beignets, Crab Dip, Shrimp Caminada Po'boy, Redfish on the Half Shell, Whole Baked or Fried Pompano, and our Creole Crawfish Pasta.

We are just a few blocks from the Convention Center. We are located on Lafayette Street, Convention Center Blvd. and Fulton Street.

We offer a casual, relaxing atmosphere inside or outside on our patio.

Our oysters are locally sourced from hardworking, lifetime fisherman from the Gulf of Mexico. Day or night you can stop in grab a cold local draft and watch the art and skill of our oyster shuckers at the Oyster Bar. Stay awhile and enjoy a dozen or two!

Excellent food. Excellent service. Our server was Aly and she is very knowledgeable with the menu and the way food is prepared. Looking forward to going again! The frozen French 75 is delicious as was the shrimp & grits, chopped salad & oysters.

The place is beautiful, great outdoor views of the lakeshore and the food was great. The lobster roll special was delicious and the lobster was cooked to perfection. I can’t recall his name but the guy working the outdoor bar at ground level was extremely personable and gave great recommendations before we headed inside for our reservation. We will definitely be back!

Food was outstanding. Mike our waiter was excellent, knowledgeable, very friendly and welcoming. The place was noisy because a large group was having dinner. I will be back because of the food and the staff.
