5 year business anniversary….wife enjoyed it immensely.
Great job by Jose’
Steaks came out wrong temperature by far. Brought us food that was not ours. Barely spoke to us. Terrible service. Very shocked for Ruth’s Chris.
great dinner note for menu: appetizer of seafood tower should be marked for 2 persons
Grasshopper cocktail was yummy; pleasantly surprised by the chocolate syrup lining the inside of the glass
We’re from Dallas. And was our first time eating there. Really enjoyed the service and food. All the waitresses and waiters were very friendly and attentive.
Amazing Ruths Chris! Our server was very nice and accommodating and they gave us two free desserts for our anniversary. Loved this location!
It was our 31st anniversary. We had a splendid meal. Everyone was very attentive.
Lobster just a little overcooked but everything else was great and the steak was excellent! It was our 22nd anniversary.
This place a great place to eat downtown Denver with my family
Our food and service was outstanding! Some of the best food we have ever had! Fabulous!!!
The food overall was good but the service was pretty bad. There were only a few tables and 5 servers walking throughout the dining room. My water glass sat empty for at least 10 minutes. Our menus were never cleared from our table. We were done with our entrees for 20 minutes before anyone came over to clear our empty plates. Just not the standard of service I am used to from Ruth’s Chris. I’ve been coming here for many years and it was very underwhelming.
Bar is a little noisy and the sound spills into the dining room. Service and food are top notch.
Excellent wait staff with great food and drink suggestions!!
Thank you Josh!!!
1. We waited for nearly 1.5 hours to get our entrée. We arrived at 7:30 and were served steaks at 8:56!
2. I ordered the Cowboy Ribeye cooked medium rare with a medium Pittsburgh char. The steak came out medium with no sear at all. It was no better than an average Outback steak. So disappointing!
3. My wife ordered the 16 oz. Ribeye and she was disappointed as well. My daughter & her friend ordered the fillets and they were happy with their steaks.
4. I rarely complain about such things but for a +$420.00 tab inclusive of tip I should have been satisfied with my meal, if not ecstatic. We dine at fine steak establishments throughout central Florida many times a year; unfortunately Ruth Chris' will not be one in the future. I sincerely hope you use my comments to improve! Good Luck
JerryD, Thank you for your honest comments. We are sorry to hear that you had a less than favorable experience. Your feedback is very important to us and essential for our growth, not only at this location but also as a brand. Your comments have been passed along for review and will help us improve moving forward. Thank you!
Service outstanding as you would expect for Ruth Chris! Steaks met the quality standards! The side dishes were not hot as we would have expected (rather lukewarm), matter of fact, the mashed potatoes had chunks which were not completely cooked (a bit crunchy). Nothing that would keep me away from visiting again, however, this visit did not quite meet our high expectations.
Overall pretty good. But felt like a chain.
Let me preface this with our background before children was high end service industry. We eat at Ruth Chris about 4-6 times a year. It’s a staple when we want a nice consistent meal out. We always know anywhere in the US it’s always going to be the same. We have been to many all over. That being said since we hadn’t been out much over the last year we were ready to have a nice meal for Mother’s Day. From start to finish we could tell RC post pandemic was not the same. Service details lacked, food was not cooked to what we ordered, and lastly they were running out of staples. For example crème brûlée was out and we had a 5:45pm reservation ( we went early cause we brought our kiddos). To top it all off our sever was handing out roses to all the tables wishing everyone happy Mother’s Day, and as trivial as this sounds he didn’t do the same to us. We were kind to him the entire time and coming from service industry we know how to tip regardless of how bad our experience may be. I was just shocked and we will most likely never go back to a Ruth Chris. I guess they have lowered their standards of service and class. Makes me sad
We truly appreciate your feedback because it helps us improve. This is not at all the experience we aim to provide. We have passed your feedback along to the upper management team for this location to ensure this doesn't happen again. Thank you!
Extremely poor service-reservation at 5:45, ordered four steaks, over an hour wait for food.
AndrewC, please rest assured that in this Ruth's Chris, as well as all others, our intention is to provide the highest and finest quality with regard to both food and service, not to mention hospitality - much like Ruth would have done herself. We will address your concerns with our team and we hope you will give us another chance to serve you again in the future. Thank you!
We ordered the ribeye and filet steak on Mother’s Day to celebrate, and we also ordered the lobster bisque. The service was good but when they served us the steaks, they were raw, even the waiter told us that. They did remade it for us but it was very disappointing because the restaurant had such great reviews and the steak was very expensive. It was also a big blow because it was Mother’s Day and I wanted to make the dinner special and perfect for my mom. The lobster bisque was ok, no flavor really stood out. I will not be coming again sadly.
Britney, thank you for taking the time to share your comments. We always want your meal to be perfect so you can focus on enjoying your experience. We will work with our team to improve and hope to welcome you in again soon.
It was very Ruth's Chrisy lol... Most have the same feel and ambiance (positive) and delicious food but always pricey! My son's and my steak weren't cooked to medium well but were medium.... we just ate as is... I get tired of complaining, it happens a lot. the steaks were still very tasty as was all of the food. My husband does not recommend the crab cakes tho.. Our waiter was lovely! He gave us (free) a delightful desert of our choice for our son's bday. It was Mothers day, so he also gave me a beautiful pink long stem rose :-). We had a $25 reward from the Opentable app to use by the approval of Ruth's Chris... but they did not honor it :-/ So that was disappointing.
Great Mother’s Day treat! I didn’t know Steak could taste that good! I’m going to find any excuse to celebrate and come back!
Service was a bit slow and unattentive. Steak ordered medium well arrived less done than the steak ordered medium. Also sent back two lobster tails that were undercooked.
Went to Ruth Chris for the first time on Mother's Day...it was very nice!
Not cheap, cost around $400.00 all in for my wife and 2 kids- but the experience was top notch. Our service was excellent, very attentive- A++ No complaints, great place to take the family for special occasions!
Food was mediocre, steak was over charred, salad and garlic mash were distasteful. We decided to take a break from Larimer square restaurants and try something new and we weren’t totally satisfied.
They were understaffed, and steaks came way overcooked. Not the same experience we are used to prior to Covid. Had to ask for new glasses, they were lipstick stains on them and dirty plates, like they weren't washed at all. Waiter was overwhelmed and not able too be attentive. I felt bad being a bother, but it definitely will keep us from eating at these type of places as you go for service and quality.
Always an excellent dining experience....food, clientele, etc...standards are maintained.
Cold side dishes

Overall the evening was very nice. We were greeted at the door by a very polite and happy host and we were seated in a timely fashion considering I had reservations. Once seated we noticed decorative confetti was strewn on the table to help celebrate our anniversary. Our server introduced himself and gave us the rundown since we had never been here before. The ambiance was perfect for a peaceful dinner, lighting was low but not too low, and the noise level was about what you’d want while enjoying dinner with your significant other. The food was delicious. My fiancé ordered the filet medallions and shrimp and I had the cowboy ribeye...both dishes were very good. Our drinks were also quite enjoyable...between the blueberry mojito and the old fashioned we were pleased. For dessert we had the creme brûlée which was not only delicious but was plated beautifully. “Happy anniversary” was written in chocolate and heart shaped strawberries among other fruit topped the dessert. Throughout the night our server was very attentive...our drinks were never low and when we had the feeling we needed something he seemed to read our minds. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting an enjoyable evening out.
I’m a Ruth’s Chris frequent diner and have been eating here in Denver many times at both locations. I went out for a little celebration with family. Ordered a cocktail from the bar to start. 20 minutes later the drink arrived with cheese filled olives which I told the server before ordering that I was allergic. The seafood tower came out 2/3 the size of the usual platters. The lobster was chewy and only received one serving of lump crab. The tower came without drawn butter or even plates and seafood forks. Ordered the filet with no butter and it came with butter. Had to be sent back to the kitchen. The French fries were uncooked and needed to be returned to the frier. Finally ordered cheese cake to take home which I paid for but wasn’t put into the to-go containers. Very disappointing experience for a such an expensive meal.
It’s a steak house, so why would the steak not come out perfect?? Heavy on the salt and no other seasoning to cut it up.
The mashed potatoes are just ok home style potatoes lacking butter and milk.
I’ve tried it once. I may give it another shot some day but I’m not looking forward to it.
Funny thing is, I brought people who had bad experiences there as well but I talked them into giving it another shot.
I’ll stick to Bastiens.
Love ruths chris for special occasions. Everything here was top notch!
Me and my husband were visiting while on a great away. Food, service, ambiance was absolutely amazing.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. I talked to them ahead of time to let them know that we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday. They did decorate the table with birthday confetti which I thought was a nice gesture different than most places. Also I requested a booth because I have a herniated disc and needed a soft seat and they ensured I had that. Food was excellent. Atmosphere also good and social distancing seemed appropriate.
Brought the appetizers first didn’t bring the bread we had to ask for it . The meat was over cook told the waitress she didn’t care just said that was the way it was cooked I ask for medium got the meat full cooked .
Had to send both steaks back because of not properly cooked asked for well done we got medium
Other steak asked for medium well and when I cut blood was still coming out
What a wonderful experience. Date night for my wife and I, celebrating 9 years together. Ordered the tomahawk ribeye! WOW, cooked perfect, salad was great and dessert was great. Joseph, our server, was amazing and everything you could want in a server!
Pepe is the man favourite chef
The food was phenomenal. My son had a steak and I had the stuffed chicken. We also had calamari, sweet potato delightfulness, and lobster mac and cheese. I fine at fine dining restaurants often, and this place is by far one of my top 3.
Great all around. Food was fantastic as always. Service was great as well.
