Great service! Great food! For some reason, the interior reminds me of a sports bar, but I would go back bc of the food and service.
This is still our favorite Italian restaurant in Denver!
Very good food restaurant was a little noisy but the food made it well worth it.
Awesome place! Quaint, great service! Top notch food!
Delicious scallops, pancetta, pea puree appetizer as well as octupus. Pasta with zucchini (too much) and shrimp (too little), was tasty. Good menu, but wish there were a few more choices. I’ll be back!!
Great authentic food, casual atmosphere, and outstanding service.
Great location. Chill vibe
Friend moving and wanted to celebrate
Amazing meal and experience. Staff was awesome. Definitely old school Italian
I love Lo Stella! Love the vibe, the amazing food and the great service!!
Leo our waiter was charming and knowledgeable about the menu. Truly a gem in Denver
Great as always
The filet was so tender and perfectly cooked. Best I’ve ever had.
The service and food is always great here. The wine is also amazing!
This restaurant had good food but I was kind of stunned at the price for what it was. $20 for an appetizer of Caprese seemed a little ridiculous. The wine glass I got was dirty. I did not feel like our dinner was worth the value by the end of the night. A little disappointing when the dinner was a birthday gift for my boyfriend. All of that aside our waitress was really fantastic, she was warm, welcoming and attentive.
We will have to give this restaurant another try some other time because this time was poor. Our old fashioned drinks were terrible, the wine we ordered Cabernet) came as something else. Tagliatelle Bolognese had no tomato sauce at all, and the portion was way too small for how much they charge. Caprese salad was really good with fine tomatoes, but $19?
Authentic simple Italian food done well. Loved everything about this neighborhood Italian place. We would go back again!
Best spaghetti with clams I ever had
I need to come more often. Sat at the bar and the staff was the best though the food was fantastic too. Special of Pappardelle al Cinghiale. I left feeling like they were friends and family which is the goal of any Italian restaurant.
We were visiting from Seattle on business and sat at bar. We had an amazing dinner! Waiters were friendly and atmosphere was awesome! We will defiantly be back! Highly recommend
Excellent service! One of my favorite restaurant in Denver.
My favorite Italian restaurant in Denver!
A wonderful place. Small friendly.
Food was outstanding as was the service. We would absolutely recommend this gem
guests from out of town
Authentic “Italian” cuisine. Incredible homemade pastas with fresh beautiful sauces. What a treat. Friendly casual atmosphere. Can’t believe it took us so long to discover it. Not one miss on our table. From the prosciutto and burrata to the tricolore salad to the ravioli in shrimp sauce to the saffron shrimp taglierini. Scrumptious. And thank you Leo for your excellent service.
Great food and comfortable restaurant!
Incredible experience. We would recommend it to anyone.
Food is amazing! The Bolognese is nearly identical to one I had while in Bologna, Italy. Well done!
Very, very good Italian cuisine! We were genuinely surprised with everything we ordered!
Unimpressed with our server
Nice local place, friendly service, good Italian basics and a few innovative specials.
Love this place and so happy they survived. Great date night last night!
The Insalata Caprese with buffalo mozzarella was so tasty! The Valpolicella red paired well with Nona Lauren’s ? Tagliatelle Bolognese dish. Our wait person, Jessica, couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly. Can’t wait to go back for another relaxing dinner.
This is a precious dining spot in an underserved neighborhood. The food is good, the service is quite well-meaning and attentive and they actually care about the quality and the experience. Wine list is brief but a few bright spots so it is fine. Dined here twice in two days, once solo at the bar and once with a group of friends. Both times were a success. These guys are doing good work and should be celebrated.
Food amazing and our waiter Leo great
I was looking for a restaurant for a three person business dinner and made the reservation based on reviews from Opentable diners. The restaurant did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the service professional and pleasant. We will definitely come back.
Great dinner! We are visiting from out of town and had a craving for Italian. Definitely the place to go! Great atmosphere, and delicious wine and drinks! We had the bolognese and fish ravioli, delicious!! Would definitely go back if we lived in the area!
Intimate atmosphere is belied by the ambient noise level made obtrusive by the reflective surfaces on all sides. Thankfully, most of the crowd was reasonably restrained last night.
Perhaps they were short staffed, but our service was quite scattered and didn't live up to the upscale restaurant they are attempting to be. The bread, pasta dish and panna cotta dessert were amazing, but the steak was just ok and our wine was way too young for the price. We were disappointed to say the least.
We love Lo Stella - it's our favorite restaurant in Denver. The food, service, atmosphere --everything about it is fantastic.
