   We sat for 35 minutes before a waiter even came to our table. He identified a menu problem and didn’t return for another 10 minutes. At this point, 45 minutes into our evening we placed orders for a pre-dinner drink as Weiss our dinner, fearing our waiter would go MIA again. 30 minutes later (now 1 hr & 15 mins), we were served our salad. Still no drinks! At 1.5 hours we were served our drinks, and our dinner arrived 1 hour and 45 minutes after sitting down. The food was excellent. However the service and our waiter were so bad, we will not be returning.

   This is a go to restaurant for me. Last night was a bit of a disappointment. It took twenty minutes to get a waiter. She was friendly but not particularly attentive. The food was good but the elk was lukewarm and tasted like the grill; the salmon was mediocre. The sommelier was great, though.

   We had a graduation lunch at La Casa Sena and while it's a lovely outdoor patio, the food was sub-par at best and very disappointing. The salad Nicoise was bland, the tuna tasteless and overall meh. The burger came out with warm soggy fries and the gnocchi was small portion with very little gnocchi. Over all was not the food experience I had hoped for and I won't be recommending this restaurant nor be back.

    La Casa Sena in Santa Fe is one of the nicest outdoor locations and so it proved on this occasion. My friend and I both had the grilled salmon and it was really outstanding! The fish was cooked just right, we ordered it medium. It was served on a bed of fresh locally sources vegetables, with seaweed, avocado, and fresh sliced ginger. Just a wonderful combination. The service was very good and the ambience perfect!

    The food used to be fantastic here but I'm not sure what happened. Three of ordered Nicoise salads and they could not have been more disappointing. They came with raw tuna and we asked for medium, then they were inedible when they recooked the tuna - chewy and no flavor. The salad was mostly lettuce which overwhelmed the enormous plate, and was missing most of the listed ingredients. The ingredients they did include from the menu were skimpy. I found one bean in the salad. I sent mine back and got a caesar salad and it too was quite underwhelming. Hope they find a new chef. Perhaps we hit an off day but I won't be back unfortunately.

    Have eaten there before and it was quite good. This time the service was almost nonexistent. We finally had to ask for a waiter to order our drinks. In the middle of taking our food order the waiter disappeared and we had to flag him down to get the food ordered. I ordered ossobucco and it was tough and not worth the cost.

    We were in the jazz club and the music was stellar. The bar was overwhelmed and didn't have enough help but when we got service, the drinks were good quality. The burger was excellent, the filet was cooked perfectly, and the octopus had good flavor, had been marinated and was tender but was not "charred" or grilled as advertised and that was disappointing. The Gnocchi was described as a dish, so our guest expected something different than a duck leg with Gnocchi on the side so that was also disappointing. We like the music and cocktails, and we will try them again, but the prices are quite high to have these types of consistency or quality issues with the food.

    Food is very good! The Mediterranean focus is apparent and the food is light and fresh. The service needs a lot of help. First we showed up to the hostess stand and was told “I’m not the host” by a gentleman standing there (but working at the restaurant). No hello, no greeting. The hostess came back and stared at me annoyed - again, no greeting. She was very annoyed that I had a reservation and led us to a table after a long sigh. We were a party of four but she only handed us 2 menus. Not a word said during any of this. She dropped the menus and walked away before we could ask for more. Very odd service. Table was nice, food was good, service leaves a lot to be desired.

    Food was quite good, excellent presentation. However, wait staff was subpar with errors in the order, had to ask again for our (forgotten) drinks, poor timing & numerous errors & confusion with the bill, it didn’t end on a good note. This altered the overall value (service shadowed the food.) Luckily, my good spirited company made up for the restaurant experience.

    There was a set fixed price menu for Mothers Day that was not noted on Open Table - be sure to check website for updates. Service was slow and our order was confused with the next table’s…… but the food and ambience are always great.

    Mothers Day brunch while vacationing in Santa Fe was awesome. The crab bisque and salmon pancakes were packed with flavor. Entrees of trout and carbonara were both delicious and trout cooked perfectly. Desserts were also delicious. Wine pairing was perfect. Wonderful experience.

    Food was excellent but service lacked. Noticed other tables got more attention than we did. Never was offered bread, refills took a while and all other tables around us were getting served all that and more. Felt a little disappointed in that area but the food was incredible tasting.

    You needed more help. Husband and I had sea bass it tasted “fishy” not pleasant. Bisque was delish, desert good. Had to pay extra for coffee and iced tea??unusual at this type of special lunch

    Mother's Day brunch here was spectacular. Luckily, we didn't get rained on and were able to eat outdoors - it's so beautiful to eat al fresco here. Food was fantastic - it was a 3-course prix fixe and it was all really well curated. I had the crab bisque, barramundi and their fabulous phyllo Greek dessert. Others in my party had the greek salad, the pasta carbonara, tiramisu, sorbet sampler, and the smoked salmon on pancakes with caviar. Everything was top notch.

    We were very disappointed with the Mother's Day Brunch. Casa Sena has been one of our favorite places because of their beautiful patio and high quality food. However the special fixed price menu for Mother's Day was a big disappointment. The food was bland and did not meet our expectations for the cost. The server was friendly but overall the service was poor. The only highlight was the beautiful patio. We were hoping for something special for Mother's Day but we will look for something different next year.

    Our reservation was set for 7 pm, We were sat at a table where 30 minutes later we couldn't see what was served as there was no light on the patio. The food was bad, cold and overload of veggies and an absent of the main protein. The waiters with no idea what they were supposed to do,after putting the food at the table they never came back( we went to find them a couple of times) Very disappointed.     Having eaten at Casa Sena a few years ago, we wanted to try it again and although we ate outside which was awesome, the service left a lot to be desired. We had barely sat down when our server asked if we were ready to order even before we had ordered any drinks. After we got our drinks we were never asked if we wanted a refill or something else to drink. Once we got our orders, our server only stopped by once to see how our meals were and that was while he was hurrying somewhere else. Our meals were just fair with soggy truffle fries and cold mussels. Crab cakes were great, however. Finally, it took forever to get our check and even longer to have it returned for our signature. The four of us were a bit disappointed.

    The food was delisious. We went there to see the Broadway singing waiters, they no longer do that. They do have a very good jazz bar. We still had a very nice experience and the outside patio area is beautiful.

    We were here for our anniversary for the first time. It was very romantic setting. The ambience was wonderful with the outdoor patio area being very romantic and poetic. The staff here was very friendly and the food was even better. I highly recommend this for your next outing in Santa Fe, we will definitely be going back again.

    The seating in the garden was beautiful. There were many good menu choices. All three of us were interested in having fish. I chose the Branzino. I was asked how I liked my fish cooked, rare, medium or well done. I had never been asked this before since most excellent chefs know how to cook fish and not over or undercook it. I asked for it to be not over or undercooked. It was fine but many of the veggies were very undercooked. The sauce was delicious but the dish could have used more sauce. My dining mates loved their dishes.

    The menu at La Casa Sena seems very good. Unfortunately the restaurant is suffering from a lack of trained wait staff. This seems to be a problem for a great many restaurants these days. The manager came to our aid several times and in the end discounted our bill. We were a party of four. Two of us were served in a timely fashion while the other two waited an additional 20 minutes for their food which arrived with cold french fries. We also did not receive any silverware with our dessert, and it was difficult to get the attention of the wait staff. They were very busy. The setting of this restaurant is lovely. The menu seems promising. Its success will depend on additional trained wait staff.
