We had a great lunch experience yesterday. Starting with the warm welcome from the hostess, Sadie, to the attentive service from our waiter, it was a top notch experience. I look forward to doing it again soon.

I've always enjoyed True Food and have always had an excellent experience. It must have been an off-night for them, so I won't let this one mediocre experience keep me from going again. We had a reservation for 7:00 and we were sat a few minutes later. We then waited 20 minutes for a server to show up. That only happened after I went to the host stand to find out what the deal was. The server was delightful and knowledgeable, though there was no apology for the wait, only "thanks for your patience." Okay, I can let that go. We did notice that people who came in after us were served before us (I guess they ordered while we waited?). I had to order a GF bun for my burger. It ended up being stale and, as a result, hard as rock and inedible. I was looking forward to the accompanying kale salad, and while the first few bites were good, the fact that it was drenched in dressing and soggy made me lose interest pretty quickly. From that moment, the entire dinner disappointing, despite the fact that the burger part, with the mushroom topping, was delicious. I was glad that my two dinner companions enjoyed their meals.

Everything was really terrific. Our section of the restaurant was rather warm- having ICE water served immediately would have been greatly appreciated. Food was amazing!
