   Pretentious, over priced, wanna be fine dining establishment. It was cafeteria loud. Wine list is good but the markup exceeds 300%. My scallop dish was good but not noteworthy. My spouse’s lobster dish was unappealing and neither of us liked its taste.

   Attentive, professional service by Jeremy at the lovely bar. I was dining solo and was thoughtfully seated at the end (where I could observe how hardworking the staff are). Phenomenal next-level cuisine. Inspired cocktail (saltiito margarita) and creative, delicious Futomaki Caesar and sublime mussels posole. My first time to Santa Fe and so glad I treated myself to this wonderful dining experience! Vibrant atmosphere with great energy.

   Excellent evening. Thank you to our server, Parris, who welcomed us on our first evening of vacation in Santa Fe. Drinks, food, service all highly recommended.

   Always had top notch service at Coyote Cafe, but service was very slow tonight. We did not get a wine list when we were seated. After waiting for a few minutes with no service, asked a server for the wine list. Finally a few minutes later got the wine list and some water. Every thing from drinks to food seemed to take forever. And what is this BS about proofing the wine? I’ve been to Michelin starred restaurants and never had anyone “proof” my wine. I know if a bottle is corked or not. Mussels posole was very good, although had very little posole and lacked the usual spiciness. My wife had sea bass and I had the filet. Both were excellent. I always considered Coyote Cafe to be one of the two or three best places in Santa Fe, but this was definitely a let down.

   Very special birthday and retirement celebration was perfect! Very kind and helpful servers. Delicious dining.
