Ulele (pronounced you-lay-lee) celebrates the vibrant fusion of ingredients from Florida waters and land once home to many Native Americans, including the legendary young princess Ulele.

Located on the Hillsborough River in Tampa Heights, 400 yards from the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Indoor and outdoor waterfront dining. Lunch and dinner daily. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Featuring intricately flavored, visually appealing dishes prepared on our 10' round barbacoa grill.

Ulele operates in the lovingly re-imagined 1903 Tampa Heights Water Works building, which also includes its Ulele Spring Brewery to provide a number of craft beers on tap. Next door to Water Works Park.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the indoor dining rooms.

    We could not eat outside because of rain and were seated at ground level. The noise was nearly unbearable. Everything else was fine.

    It’s our second time at this establishment and everything is perfect and delicious. All the personal that works there are outstanding. Definitely a place to go every time I visit to Tampa.

    Met friends for a dinner to celebrate two birthdays. Our waiter Josh was amazing, personable and attentive. We mentioned the birthdays and he said he'd take care of that. Our meals were delicious, from seafood to steak with delicious drinks, it was a busy evening due to a car show but we were seated right on time and had a relaxing meal. After our meals Josh brought out a small box of truffles for each birthday which was great touch!

    The food was amazing, I had the Tomahawk Porkchop and my wife had Chef’s Steak. And the oysters are a must!
