To qualify for your reward, both you and the restaurant you referred must adhere to the terms and conditions of the program

Offer valid through 09/30/2025. Redemption is subject to the gift card issuer’s terms and conditions.
To qualify, the referred restaurant must:
(a) be located in the United States;
(b) be a new customer that is not part of a restaurant group already on OpenTable;
(c) not have been contacted by OpenTable within sixty (60) days prior to OpenTable’s receipt of the referral from the Referrer;
(d) sign a contract for the OpenTable Core or Pro products within ninety (90) days of OpenTable’s receipt of the referral from the Referrer;
(e) be a new location that is scheduled to open within the next 90 days; and
(f) not be referred by someone within the same restaurant group or the same individual (i.e., the Referrer cannot refer themselves).

Only one gift card may be earned per referred restaurant group. If OpenTable receives multiple referrals for the same restaurant, the gift card will be awarded to the first Referrer. A Referrer may receive no more than five (5) gift cards per calendar year.

OpenTable is not responsible for the Referrer’s tax compliance obligations related to the receipt of any gift cards. OpenTable reserves the right to modify or terminate this offer at any time with notice.

Any individual can submit a new restaurant opening referral as long as they are not referring someone within the same restaurant group or the same individual (i.e., the Referrer cannot refer themselves).

Yes. The referred restaurant cannot:

  • Be in active conversations with OpenTable (had an interaction with an Account Executive within the last 60 days).

 

The referred restaurant must:

  • Be a new location that is scheduled to open within the next 90 days;
  • Become an OpenTable customer and install the system within 90 days of submitting the referral form.
  • Sign a contract for OpenTable Core or OpenTable Pro.
  • Be a new location that will open within the next 90 days.

Only one referral bonus can be earned per restaurant group. A bonus will only be earned for the first location in a group that joins OpenTable.

Yes, there is a limit of 5 per individual per calendar year.

After the restaurant they have referred has installed, the referrer will receive an email to redeem their gift card online.

There may be tax implications. Individuals should consult a local tax advisor for further details. OpenTable is not responsible for the Referrer’s tax compliance obligations related to the receipt of any gift cards.
