Linger, el segundo concepto del chef y dueño de Root Down, Justin Cucci, está situado en el barrio de Denver's Lower Highlands. El menú vibrante de Linger refleja una amplia sensibilidad de estilo \"de la granja a la calle\", dando un giro a las comidas tradicionales étnicas. Came to Denver from St Louis with a strong rec to get a table outside at Linger while we were here. Unfortunately the wind had other ideas and we ate inside. It was fabulous. Drinks were spot on! Food was beyond expectations!!! Our waiter, Luke was great. We went up on the rooftop when we finished and will be sure to come back to the rooftop.

We did not have a good experience at Linger. We arrived on time for our reservation and checked in, but ultimately had to wait 30 minutes before getting our table. After getting seated, the service seemingly got worse as we did not see our waiter for the first 15 minutes. After we were finally helped, the food did come quickly but it came before the drinks we ordered. As the night went on, our server continued to check-in every 10-15 minutes. At the end of the meal, we requested our check with the server and then again 10-15 minutes went on. We had to flag down another waiter to help us get our check and finally pay. It seemed like our waiter prioritized larger tables/groups, which I get but it was incredibly frustrating and not a good experience. The food overall was decent, but a bit overpriced in my opinion. Best was the waygu burger sliders and pork pot stickers. Pad Thai was not good and a bit burnt.

We had been to Linger before and had a good experience. Tonight, we waited a full 30 min for one of our entrees (after the rest of the table was served) and over 15 min for a second drink. Our waiter was largely unsympathetic, "Sorry, we're really busy - that one takes a while". Dirty plates were not cleared from the table. Think we won't be back for a while.

Easily one of my favorite spots in Denver. Great food, service, and vibe. My date called ahead of time and let them know it was birthday. We were treated with wine & a great dessert. Thanks for making the birthday a memorable one! We’ll be back soon.

I had been looking forward to going to Linger for some time. But I was disappointed with the quality of the food. Denver has so many amazing options nowadays in restaurants with outstanding dishes that I felt for this city and atmosphere the food was sub-par. Our waiter was great though: friendly and attentive. I also really like my cocktail-the drink of the month. The ambience was cool, but did not get to enjoy the outdoor patio as it was closed on Mondays. Lastly, I was hoping for a little more historical references since it was once a mortuary. Glad I finally went but next time I will probably only go for drinks on the rooftop.

A friend from school who I hadn't seen for 30 years came into Denver for a conference. She asked for a place that was "adult, cool factor, good food, walking options and GOOD DRINKS". The only place I could think of for brunch was Linger. The food isn't as interesting as it is for dinner, but it was all amazing along with the fun drinks. Mickie our server was wonderful! FYI no valet for brunch, but parking in the across the street lot was easy peasy. If you come here for brunch, GO GET SOME ICE CREAM outside! It's a great way to end the early trip! :)

Just a great little place to share small plates with a lively atmosphere. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the Denver area.

This is a cool place and the menu, which at first glance seems interesting, has potential. However the food is extremely oily and too rich. For example, the filling for the pot stickers was delicious but the deep frying was over the top. Pot stickers should be delicate, not swimming in oil and sticky sauces. The beyond beef sliders were okay, but not at all exciting. The servers were attentive and friendly.

The food was really great, but after the appetizers were delivered, they lost our order and we waited almost 45 minutes to get the rest of our meal.
