Very nice meal. Good choices on menu ie something for everyone. Good knowledge of gluten free and plenty of options. Service very friendly. Nice surroundings and ambience.

This was our first visit to Water Lane. It is a fantastic venue. The garden is delightful and even in the rain it looks glorious. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful and interactive. The food was amazing, delicious and generous in portions. Overall we are delighted to have visited and will hopefully go again especially in better weather. Would totally recommend Water Lane to any discerning diner.

First time at this restaurant, the whole experience was first class. Food was excellent good value for money. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Discovered The Crown on our first ever time in Hastings earlier this year. What a find! Lovely rustic pub with a great ambience. Staff great with good service. Food is top notch and we like the fact that most things are locally sourced - even the gin!

As always staff and service are excellent and the food is outstanding.
