Enjoyed our dining experience but waited in the Bar for over an hour waiting to be seated and we had reservations. I was astonished when our drinks arrived while waiting at the bar and they were so full of ice that I literally got 4 sips from them. A total rip off. When I kindly brought this up to the bar waitress she was less than helpful and said next time to order with light ice. Hmmmmm?

I took my visiting parents here after 8pm on the last day of Restaurant Week. I was especially impressed that all the staff was extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. The food we had was very good to excellent and we all were pleased with the experience.

Was very underwhelmed with Zengo. For the price and location, it could be way better. The service was off. The Salmon was way overcooked. There was a hair on my plate and they didn't even apologize. The server never came back to the table to ask us how the food was and tried to rush us out before we were finished with dessert. Was told they had gluten free options. Sweet chili sauce from the bottle is not an acceptable sauce substitution for a restaurant of this caliber. If your chef cannot make a gf sauce, don't advertise gf options. I don't think I'll be returning back.

Had a wonderful experience dining in the private back room where the volume was significantly reduced though still energetic. The service was outstanding and the staff was very knowledgeable and accomodating about food allergies (in my case gluten). The food was spectacular and unique. I will be dining here frequently and will be recommending this gem to all of my friends.

This restaurant is very chic and modern, yet warm and welcoming. A very busy place, yet the experience is made your own by the atmopshere, the service, and the many different kinds of food you get to experience. High-recommended! Prices are a little steep, but that's why you do 5280!

We dined at Zengo during Restaurant week but also have a couple of appetizers off the main menu. The edamame with XO sauce was excellent with a balanced blend of spice and other seasonings--a burst of yumminess on the tongue. The pork arepas were also very good, though the meat tended to fall off the corn meal disc, leaving you with 1 bite full of flavor, and 1 bite that is on the bland side. The angry Zengo roll was good (nothing overly exciting) as was the cedar salmon. The food was very good; our server struck that good balance of being attentive without being annoying, though he was a bit odd. I would come here again. Not my absolute favorite in Denver, but a worthy contender for a night out.
