   We have eaten at the water grill multiple times in Las Vegas. This was our first time visiting the Denver location. The food with similar but different. One example was the seafood tower. We purchased the largest one they offered, and none of the crab legs were cut for us to open. Another issue we had was with the wine. They keep all of the bottles from the customers in the same location and the same ice tub. We were drinking out of one bottle and nobody came around to refill our glasses. We literally waited 30 minutes for a refill on our glass from a bottle we purchased. Our daughter reached around and grabbed a bottle she assumed was ours out of the holder. This bottle ended up being a table next to us, we ended up feeling terrible about drinking someone else’s wine that we ended up offering to pay for their bottle. The sommelier said that he was going to talk to the manager about the issue. Even though there were only two glasses left and the original tables bottle. We ended up buying our bottle plus their bottle. They really need a way for customers to have access to their wine. It was over 30 minutes before we were filled so we grabbed what we thought was our bottle. Our total bill for the evening was almost $1000, you would think they would be able to comp one bottle of wine. We didn’t even mind paying for the two glasses that we ended up drinking. But they still charged us for the whole bottle. At that point we were there for a birthday party we didn’t want to cause a fuss and we ended up paying our for both and left. I would say that it’s not the same as Las Vegas. The food is not as good we will not be coming back to the Denver location even though we live close. :(

   The sour dough bread, brought to the table immediately, was fantastic. Our waiter was very well-informed. The portions were plentiful and the food was delicious.

   Water grill staff laid rose petals on table and left a cute card for our anniversary. Everyone wished us happy anniversary. It was very sweet. Highly recommend

   Andrew was fantastic as a server, making us feel right at home, made sure we were comfortable, as well as helping us with the best culinary recommendations. He also made sure to enlighten us to fantastic entertainment after our dinner, so stellar service all around.

   Superb spot for a special meal. The staff recognized our anniversary with a card, rose petals on the table and complimentary glasses of bubbly at the conclusion of our meal. Our server Milo was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We started with craft cocktails and a large crab cake, then moved onto a scrumptious cold seafood tower with oysters, scallops, lobster, jumbo prawns and crab claws. Everything about it was impressive. We finished with the best key lime pie I have EVER had. The sourdough rolls were also a "wow"! I would definitely recommend the Water Grill!

   Tyler was a great server who was knowledgeable about the menu and very nice. The octopus and oysters were a delicious start and the Chilean sea bass was amazing. The tuna was not the best so i wouldn’t order that again. But would definitely recommend this place and their fresh seafood!

    My wife has celiac disease. When we arrived at the restaurant, we made it very clear that she had to have gluten-free items. The waiter originally did not take it seriously until I made it clear nothing could be cross contaminated. When our appetizer seafood tower came out we commented to the waiter that one of the items tasted rancid. After eating our appetizer, it took about 25 minutes for our entrées to get there. When it did arrive, they were cold Later that night, my wife and I both became very sick from the seafood tower. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant to other travelers to Denver.

    Excellent experience every time we have dined here. Today was particularly good because we did late lunch for my husband’s birthday and it was relatively quiet. Food is so fresh and the staff always wonderful. We had oysters, a lobster app, shrimp scampi on pappardelle, and certified Chilean Sea Bass in brown butter which was so perfectly cooked.

    I do not get excited about seafood but the oysters Rockefeller, raw oyster sampler and black cod were outstanding and I will be dreaming about them until I go to Water Grill again. Our server was very attentive but not hovering and overall it was a wonderful experience.

    Every course was fantastic and the service was excellent. A huge variety of oysters and a great menu overall. The black cod with sobu noodles was especially delicious. This was are second time here and can’t recommend enough.

    Ate at the Denver restaurant after booking at the Santa Monica one for vacation and realizing there was one in Denver. Seafood lover’s delight! They have the most extensive seafood menu I have ever seen. Food was great except for the chocolate ganache dessert which was a just big slab of ganache (but the pistachio gelato accompanying it was devine). The oysters were outstanding and there was a plethora of items I hope to try in the future.

    We went to celebrate our son's birthday. The restaurant did a great job of making it a special occasion ... birthday card, tour of the shellfish tanks and a birthday dessert. The food was quite exceptional, but really very pricey. That being said, the sea bass was probably the most delicious piece of fresh fish I've ever had (and I eat a lot of fish). It tasted like it had just come out of the ocean and it was perfectly cooked! The gnocchi that accompanied were pillow-like and melted in my mouth. My husband's scallops were delicious, and beautifully prepared, but at more than $10 each, it was a bit hard for him to enjoy them. Service was friendly and impeccable. If money is no object, I would definitely recommend. We're on the fence about going back.

    I enjoyed the food as always. But the service was too sloppy...I sat at the bar which wasn't busy at all. The bar servers were nice but they could use some training. They made no recommendations, they seemed to have forgotten to submit my entrée to the kitchen. About 10 mins after finishing my salad, I asked if my dish was on the way. They didn't ask if I wanted desert, just handed me the bill. I asked if I could get a desert menu and he seemed to be surprised that I would want desert.

    Service was incredibly slow. The entire restaurant reeked of bad fish. Not like a seafood restaurant should smell but overwhelmingly awful. We almost walked out it was so bad. The food was okay but not worth the price. Overall, I won’t return again.

    Very excellent food and service. Had oysters . Manila clams with chorizo, sole, and a steamed NE lobster. All perfectly done. Nice bottle of French crisp SB and a cocktail to start made our double birthday celebration perfect. Always consistent at Water. A little pricey, but well worth it. Best in Denver for seafood.

    We had high hopes for our visit to the Water Grill. Ordered the scallops and whole fish (black bass) entrees. I could tell they were cooked perfectly. Unfortunately they must have been sitting under a heat lamp for 5+ minutes because they came out lukewarm at best. Too bad, because it had potential. Apps were very good, unfortunately the entrees were sub-par, no fault of the chef.

    Dining out with neighbors new to Denver area looking for good seafood restaurant. Originally from Maine, they were extremely happy with the menu and wine choices. Perfect evening and everyone’s meals were excellent.

    Amazing! Best seafood in Denver. We haven’t had seafood this amazing since we lived in Alaska. The staff was excellent. The attention to detail on everything was above and beyond. My husband and I had our last cocktail (get the margarita, it’s so good) and just watched the staff all working in perfect harmony, it was really impressive.

    We waited 30 minutes past our reservation time which was unpleasant but once seated, it was well worth the wait for an incredible wine paired Valentine’s Day special meal every course was simply delicious and our server didn’t miss a detail
