Food and service was great! We arrived about a half hour early for our reservation and they were able to accommodate us. Tables were spaced out for Covid safety. Overall we had a great experience.
We had the special restaurant week menu. The price for the choices was great. The food was delicious. We all enjoyed our dinners. Ambiance was nice. We will come back for a HH.
My boyfriend and I came for restaurant week. Honestly we were not that impressed, the food was okay but the service was subpar. I did have some empathy for the waitstaff as it seemed the staffing was short and they were running around (this was on a Tuesday night at 7:45). The hostess was not friendly at all, our waitress hurried us through ordering, forgot my second drink (it came after i finished my meal) and barely even spoke to us... yet was having long conversations with the table across from us. When she took our dessert order she mentioned them being frozen and not that good anyways... like, what?! Did she just really say that? We appreciate the involvement in restaurant week but will not be returning.
Everything was pretty good, salad and wings were good. A little pricey but it is Wash Park. Service was slow and we all ended up drinking iced teas...( less ice after the first (
Went there for Restaurant Week. The hostess was prompt but acted a bit inconvenienced. Maybe it was because I arrived around 3:30 and she had things to do(?). My server was also a bit short with me. They said the kitchen was turning over so I had to wait until 4:00p. I don't understand how my order would have affected the kitchen? My French onion soup was decent. The pork chop was overcooked and dry. I got my dessert to go (tiramisu) and honestly never ate it. This meal ranked pretty low on my 5280 experiences. Maybe next time they will care a bit more for that single guy in the corner.
Unprofessional and overwhelmed staff. Some food was okay, others terrible. Went during Restaurant Week.
Food was great, service was very slow and innacurate. Not sure if they were understaffed. Food took forever to get, and twice there were errors.
Pork chop fabulous. Both meals high quality and value. More attention to water and asking if anything else is needed was lacking.
Such great food at Wash Park Grille. Always a classy place!
I ordered the ahi salad with romaine instead of kale. The tuna was super fresh and delicious, but it was quite a small portion. Also, the ONLY other ingredient of the salad was romaine. Not too inventive! I probably should have ordered something else. Nice atmosphere and pretty good service.
Always love my experience! Super tasting food and always professional and kind service. Will definitely be back!
Found by lucky accident while traveling in Denver. Really a great place in a cool neighborhood. Food was very good and service was outstanding! Definitely worth a repeat visit.
We three friends got together after a long, long, period of quarantine. The service was attentive when needed and we were left to talk and talk when we were deep in conversation. The food was outstanding.
Great location and service, safe, delicious and fun!
We requested patio, however we ended up on the street in the sun, with a little traffic noise. there were 4 of us and one order (vegetarian sandwich was delivered as the vegetarian Benedict - WPG did gice her the sandwich since she has started eating the Benedict. My crabcake Benedict was very bland - not up to WPG normal dishes.
typically i have great service at Wash Park Grille. However in my last visit, it wasn't great.
We were old friends reconnecting and had a fabulous time.
Food was good as always.
Service was right. No too much not too little interaction.
Nice place to meet friends.
Easter brunch with family 2021 Love that it was a beautiful day to dine on the patio!!
Made Rez for table outside, did not happen. Hostess desk unorganized
The receptionist was extremely rude! Same with the server they both were very inconvenience by us being there. Too bad because I definitely won’t be returning.
Marvelous to do 29th wedding anniversary postponed by snowstorm and have
a quiet, delicious meal and to be able to pick up gift card for ex-son in law for
next day! Terrific wait-person.
Love this place. Not sure why we have not checked out or been there before. We’ll be back
Excellent as always. Good to be back after a year.
We were seated at a table outside the premises
Sat promptly a little before reservation time.
Had a well prepared lunch with kind service.
A neighborhood staple that I always enjoy.
Because of COVID, we hadn’t had lunch together for a very long time. Outside, perfect. We had so much fun.!!! We
Great happy hour and Mon/Tue menu service from our waitress.
This place is a mess. It’s too bad. The menu is not appealing. The food is not good. The wine I ordered had turned. It feels like it has gone off the rails. Sad to see. Will not return.
We're from the neighborhood and come to the restaurant regularly. Thelast two times were not as good as we are used to. In the past I especially loved their fries. Last Sunday I had them and they were fried some time previous and were hard and tasted not good. I had the new chicken sandwich, which was good. The other people at or table werenot really satisfied with their food The cocktails were generous, but didn't tatse very good. I had a giner alethat was flat. It just seems like the quality standards have been lowered. Maybe cost or new personnel. I hope it returns to its previous glory.
Great happy hour prices on appetizers, and an excellent cobb salad. Wonderful, attentive service!
Great food, service & atmosphere! Even though there was not available seating outside on a beautiful day, the main dining room was very comfortable.
The service was great! The food was just okay. I asked the waiter if my pasta dish was spicy and was told no. She said a mild kick to the dish. I could hardly eat it and need to say I didn’t finish the dish. My husbands steak had to much salt on the dish. I expect more out of a high end restaurant but maybe the cook on Thursday night was inexperienced.
Not worth it. Brought my parents here for dinner while they were in town visiting. The atmosphere was great and the food was okay however our waiter made the experience terrible. She seemed to be in a bad mood and never looked at us in the eye. She didn't explain anything on the menu and when we asked she seemed frustrated with us. She never asked how we were doing, how was the food, or if we needed anything. When we were ready to order after waiting 15 minutes we tried to signal to her as she walked by that we were ready. She walked by our table and said "I know, just give me a minute". We understood it's difficult times but the place wasn't busy. The other times, twice we had to track down someone to help us or to order another drink. We were very disappointed with the overall experience. The worst part was having to pay the outrageous bill (3 entrees & 1 round of drinks = $200+ for our bill with 4 people) when the time spent wasn't what we were hoping for and expecting to pay for. Overall, recommend checking out Revier's across the street - same quality food but better time spent.
The waitress was excellent and was getting trained during our sitting. The service was fine as was the atmosphere. However the food was OK to bad. The crab cake Benedict was awful and my son only ate half of his Reuben sandwich because it was so dry and flavorless. The other entrees in our group of 5 were ok. We don't plan on returning. There are better choices.
I met some friends for a midweek lunch. The food was creative, pleasantly presented, and delicious. The restaurant and amenties were clean, well maintained, and appropriately spaced during the pandemic. Great service as well. We will definitely be back!
Food was good but the live music was a little loud could not have a normal conversation.
Celebrating Valentine’s Day with my wife
Always a good place to go. Atmosphere is very calming and the live entertainment always an excellent cap to the night. Food and service was great. Our server was always attentive and friendly. However, prior to COVID restrictions, the empty spaces due to social distancing did take away from the community feel of seeing others enjoy Wash Park Grill. Looking forward when more families and couples can enjoy Wash Park Grill and their excellent menu.
