Vesta, the Goddess of the Hearth, is the most beautiful of Roman divinities, bright and pure like the flame that is her symbol. Latins made Vesta a goddess who personified the earth and fire. She presided over the preparation of meals: Vesta was offered the first food and drink. The hearth conjures up visions of domesticity and peace, for the hearth is the traditional center of family life. It symbolizes warmth, security, and companionship a place for dreaming where it becomes possible by peering into the embers, to find physical and mental renewal and a place to discover the secrets of the future. At Vesta, we have combined these themes to provide a unique dining experience. Vesta is simplicity, quality, comfort, life, art, scent, relaxation, taste, sound, and fun.

Vesta Ratings and Reviews
The service and ambiance was excellent. The menu lacked anything with fresh vegetables. Their dipping sauces, which we used to love many years ago when it was called Vesta's Dipping Grill, are now mostly thick creamy sauces which all seemed similar. Really wish I could rave about the food, but it was kind of ordinary...
I love the food. The dinner was beautiful, although the menu is kind of hard to understand in terms of what the unique names of ingredients actually consist of (meat is clear at least).
I ordered the beef tenderloin and it was perfect. I ordered it with the fig sauce and curried basil tomatoes sauce on the side. Just delious.
We ordered the dragons breath for dessert and it was so fun! You literally breath out the cold. We also ordered a sampler dessert and it to was a wonder mixture of tasty treats.
The staff was great and really did amazing with the presentation and explanation of its preparation. That made us feel great on what we were about to eat (even though we didn’t know when we ordered what exactly everything was).
Overall I had a blast and definitely would recomend going. Just don’t forget their sauces and dessert. And small plates means appetizers.
I am in Denver almost twice per month for business and Vesta is hands-down one of my favorite restaurants! The food is amazing and so creative! So far, the Chicken Tikka Masala is my favorite! My friend had the lamb and said it was the best she'd ever had. Can't wait to go there again to try something new!
This visit was a bit of a disappointment. The menu, which used to be relatively simple dishes to highlight the sauces, now is spice-heavy and the sauces are an afterthought.
My favorite dish used to be a plate of roasted seasonal vegetables, with the set of sauce dishes.
My scallops, and my husband’s steak, were competent. Nothing wrong with them, but a major change in style. The salads were so heavily salted as to be nearly inedible.
My boyfriend and I were visiting Denver and came across Vesta online and decided to try. Had no problem getting a reservation and was in the mood for some new dishes compared to what we usually order. We really liked that there were several appetizer options, small plates as well as mains because we are not big red meat eaters. We ordered the ahi tuna, which was a little too salty for me, but still yummy. Also ordered the cauliflower couscous dish, the pita bread and sauces, cranberry salad, which we both loved and was not over dressed, as well as the falafel, which was probably my favorite. Other dishes going by looked delicious as well and were pleased with the value. We both went the cocktail route and I ordered the Rose sangria, which was amazing! very light, refreshing and unique - I'd go back just for the cocktails.
I hadn’t been to Vesta in probably 10+ years (last time I was there it was still called Vesta Dipping Grill). I stopped going because the head chef had left and the food had gone downhill, and the service left a lot to be desired. However, I had heard some good things recently and decided to give it another shot. I can confirm that Vesta is back - The food was excellent and the service was spectacular. I will definitely be going back as this is now back on my list of fabulous downtown Denver restaurants.
This place has delicious everything. I normally stuff myself on small plates and/or beautiful charcuterie. The staff is exceptionally aware and on point. If you love food, you will love this place, this restaurant has been open longer than 10 years for a reason. Make sure to bring extra coin, excellence comes with a price. I've never been in this place and seen more than two or three tables not occupied, it isn't super great for a quiet conversation. If you want a booth you have to call ahead to make sure they can reserve one for you, theirs are designed for 5+ customers.
Vesta has been one of my favorite choices for a restaurant for a special occasion ever since I discovered it. One of my favorite things when dining is having yummy sauces for my food. I was very sad to see that the restaurant has changed their concept (from being a dipping grill) and now basically only offers their sauces as an appetizer or on a few dishes. Others are pre-determined or have none at all. My meal was still excellent and the service was GREAT, but it just didn't seem to be the special experience it used to be. I probably won't go out of my way to return now as I can get excellent meals in a lot of places.
All the wait staff we encountered were friendly and knowledgeable of the food. Cheese and meat board were great. Main course was fantastic. Portions were on the smaller size but with the board and meals, I was perfectly full! Will definitely be back to try more from the menu.
We love this restaurant. We love to come here because the service, food and drinks are outstanding. This last visit, we had asked a very young, blond (at the check in podium), for some help on how to secure a table in the bar area. We almost left because she acted completely clueless about our request. We were taken aback as she offered no assistance. Fortunately a very professional lady behind the bar, jumped right into action and took over, connecting us to a waiter, who assisted us. We went on to enjoy an amazing "fromage & chacuterie" platter and wonderful cocktails. The service from then on, was top notch! It was exactly the Venice we have come to know. It is a definite must for a superb meal, (on a special night out) or to bring friends visiting from out of town! It is one of our favorite restaurants!
