Vesta, the Goddess of the Hearth, is the most beautiful of Roman divinities, bright and pure like the flame that is her symbol. Latins made Vesta a goddess who personified the earth and fire. She presided over the preparation of meals: Vesta was offered the first food and drink. The hearth conjures up visions of domesticity and peace, for the hearth is the traditional center of family life. It symbolizes warmth, security, and companionship a place for dreaming where it becomes possible by peering into the embers, to find physical and mental renewal and a place to discover the secrets of the future. At Vesta, we have combined these themes to provide a unique dining experience. Vesta is simplicity, quality, comfort, life, art, scent, relaxation, taste, sound, and fun.

Vesta Ratings and Reviews
Food was pretty good. The bone marrow and the pork belly were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The pricing seemed a bit high for the entire portions we saw; we only ordered appetizers and drinks. My only negative comment was the sauce option. The waiter, who by the way gave us excellent service, presented this portion of the menu to the same degree as Sebastian’s from Kitchen Nightmares in season 1, episode 6.
Went there for dinner. The bread basket was enjoyable with an assortment of 3 kinds of bread. However, the spreads were weird. The garlic spread was bitter and the fake truffle oil honey thingy was nasty. Stick to the butter. The appetizers were very good though: house made burrata and shrimp dishes were tasty. For mains, my wife had the chicken Tikka massala dish. The rice was nicely perfumed with juniper but the curry was terrible. The very dry chicken was sitting in a bird nest of phyllo dough with barely any sauce. TV dinner. My scallops were very tender but were not seared properly, they looked sort of poached on one side and barely caramelized on the other. The garnish was forgettable.
You can accompany your entrees with any sauce you want. That's odd. If you don't get entrees, they charge you for the sauces, that's even offer.
I liked my sticky toffee pudding to finish my meal but my wife's tiramisu was ridiculous. It was a pompous round and tiny deconstructed / reconstructed type with the mascarpone enclosed between walls of random biscuit. No flavour, no nothing. The only coffee option if I recall right was a small French press which tasted bitter.
It's not cheap either. I still give it a good rating because of the appetizers but I'm probably too nice.
Came here for our anniversary, after not having dined here for about 6 years (no particular reason, just a lot of restaurants in Denver ;) ), I'm glad to say that they were just as good as the first time we went. Everything was exactly what I would want, exceptional service, exceptional food, and a fun atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend.
I miscalculated our available time and we had to hurry through dinner. Our server, Steve was incredible. He gave us guidance and got the food out to us in record time. The sauce sampler was really tasty. We had the venison, cioppino, and the diver scallops. There was a little too much oil in the cioppino but otherwise very flavorful. The venison was perfectly done and the scallops were delicious. Next time we will be better planned so we can really savor this place.
We came to Vesta for my husband's birthday this year, and we were not disappointed. First, I inquired the night before about parking, and within about 4 hours, I had a very pleasant and helpful response. Second, the food was DELICIOUS. We started out with the pork belly "bites" and the bone marrow appetizers. We loved the familiar but different take on these dishes. The entrees did not disappoint either. We had the venison and the lamb chops, and switched half way through. We literally could not decide which dish we liked better! Dessert was the perfect ending to the meal, with some French press coffee and the sticky toffee pudding. We will be coming back to Vesta in the near future and bringing our friends and family!
A friend recommended Vesta to us for our wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed. The staff was amazing and the food excellent. We ordered off of the Autumn menu, and can't wait to go back and try other seasonal menu items. The gluten-free menu had plenty of options for me - it was hard to choose which entree' to try. HIGHLY recommend Vesta!
Vesta was awesome, the food and service unsurpassed. We had the filet and it was the best steak we've ever had. Service was polite friendly attentive prompt knowledgeable anf professional. Head Chef visited pur table and brought us a complimentary side dish that was creative and with multi layed flavor transition. Thr pork belly small plate was spectacular?
Dine here and enjoy
I first discovered Vesta years ago when I was on a pleasure trip to Denver. It was so good, that my wife and I ate their twice.
I went again when I was in Denver a few years ago on a business trip.
This time, I was in town meeting a friend and we stopped by for dinner.
The menu was a bit more limited than I remembered. Nonetheless, the food was still top notch.
The service was good, too.
My only criticism of the restaurant is the noise level. I think it detracts from the experience.
That notwithstanding, this place is well worth a visit.
$14.00 for a Vodka Martini on the Rocks same for a Manhattan. $28.00 for two drinks. Way out of site. Before I dine again in downtown Denver I am going to ask the price of a cocktail -- if it's $14.00 it's a no go for me. This place if you don't mind drinking what they say you must order at happy hour is I believe $6.00 for a drink ..... $6.00 to $14.00 .. one hellva mark up.
Very very load music. We came for our 61st anniversary and ask for a quiet table -- no such animal in the place!
Service was just ok. One of the things a came here for was the Pate on the Happy hour menu. Even though it was on the menu she told us it was an "old" menu & they no longer had pate? Service was just standard nothing to write home about. Seemed good when she started with us but she did not seemed to pay much attention to our table after that.
Oh one other thing that I thought was almost funny. The Shrimp on the happy hour menu.. seriously I did not think they could harvest shrimp that small. $8.00 and there were maybe 10 of this little guys. I know I can buy a bag of many hundreds at Costco for probably $12-13.00
So all in all, even though we had dined there a couple of times maybe five years ago the experience was nothing like it was back then.
Sorry but you asked my opinion and that the way I saw it.
Ps: by the was we live at the Spire high rise downtown so dining in the city is not new to us.
The food was absolutely terrible and very expensive, based off reviews I thought the food and experience would be amazing time to leave an honest review. First off no valet which was a disappointment. The service was awesome aside from waiting to get my check it was great. The menu was very hard to read and follow, our server gave us a rundown of the menu but it did not help. After figuring it out and ordering the food was awful. When I’m paying $45 dollars for a fish I believe it should taste decent at the least. I will not recommend vesta to anyone. Overall not a fan.
My girlfriend and I were up in Denver for a weekend getaway and looking for a nice romantic dinner. We decided on Vesta because we liked the online menu.
The staff was awesome!!! The waiter took the time to explain the menu and any questions he took the time to answer them. Since we wanted wine the Sommelier came over to ask questions on our preferences and reccomended a great wine w/o trying to up sell us on an expensive bottle. The servers explained the meat and cheese plate we ordered.
All of the food we had was delicious.
What an amazing experience- from the food and crafted cocktails to the incredible service and vibrant dining environment! Went with a friend visiting and ready for cheese and wine. Those were EXCELLENT, and our other choices were also incredible. It was fun to let the server choose all our dipping sauces- she had great taste! This restaurant would be perfect for any occasion.
Awesome experience at Vesta! Went to enjoy Happy Hour before a show downtown and didn’t want to leave. We ordered many of the small plates and cocktails and wine because there was such a great selection. It was difficult to not try them all! Our favorite small plates were the pork belly, the shrimp escabeche, the cavatappi and the bread basket. We are trying to recreate the roasted garlic for the bread at home because they blew us away. The service was incredible and our food came out so fast! We love the ambiance at the bar and we’ll definitely be back!
Amazing dining experience at Vesta! My husband and I went for our anniversary, but I also decided it would be a good time to surprise him by revealing the gender of our baby. The staff at Vesta was so accomodating to pull off this surprise and exceeded my expectations when they brought out a special dessert filled with pink filling, representing our baby girl. Our server, Emily, was fantastic!
Besides amazing service, the food was phenomenal! We had the shrimp tempura and octopus appetizers - both were amazing! My husband and I were also very pleased with our entrees; the lamb and the lobster cioppino. Hands down, the most memorable meal and dining experience!
