This place is delicious! Our server was very helpful and attentive but also knew when to leave us alone and let us eat. If you're nearby, you should eat here!
Love the choice of food. Not sure if the beer selection went down or it has been a while since I went there.
The staff is always friendly and professional. They make the best efforts to make you have want.
They are supposedly well known for their chicken. I wasn't impressed. Very dry. Seemed overcooked.
For appetizers, we had the green fried tomatoes and the fried pickles.
For dinner, we had the Rainbow Bowl, the Mountain Bowl, and the Chicken and Waffels. And they were all spectacular!!!
Totally recommend it!
This is an outstanding place to eat fried chicken of all kinds. The customer service is also outstanding.
We started with a side of biscuits and jam which were delicious. My boyfriend had a bloody mary and I had a large mimosa. For our meal we each got different versions of the chicken and waffles which were both amazing. We even ordered several items to go for a friend and our bill was still under $100. We were shocked. Definitely recommend for a true Southern Comfort style meal.
I cannot say enough how fantastic this place is. The food is incredible, staff is so friendly, and a great vibe inside and out.
best biscuits ever!!!
We were visiting Denver and wanted somewhere to celebrate my son’s 22nd birthday. Everything was terrific! Great service, great food and great atmosphere. We will be back again next time we visit Denver
Jamie was amazing! And the Chicken and Waffles was divine! I would totally recommend it, and the next time I am in Denver -- we're coming back.
Birthday brunch for a friend
We love this place for a meal or apps and drinks. Such good food today. Try the meatloaf.
I had the pork shoulder and it was fabulous. The sriracha honey glaze added the perfect amount of spice. I tried the grits, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and green beans. They were all cooked well and delicious. Will be returning again.
Came for happy hour. After ordering drinks and then attempting to order happy hour food, the server then informed us that happy hour was canceled because their fried was down. They offered no substitutions for alternative happy hour options. Would have been nice to know this before we were seated and especially before ordering drinks so we could’ve made it to happy hour elsewhere.
Great food! Great Food! Great Food! Great Food! Great Food!

Jaime was out server and we had a great experience!! He was fun and energetic and made out dining that much more enjoyable! The food was delicious!!
Thank you so much for leaving a review! Jamie is a superstar and we love having him on staff so I'm glad you got taken such good care of! Obviously, service is only part of the experience so I'm glad we also hit the mark on your food as well. Can't wait to see you again for brunch or happy hour :)
I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant and sadly I was disappointed. I had been staring at pictures of food on line all week trying to figure out what I was going to order, everything looked so good. I have a thing about wanting my food to be hot when it comes out but my shrimp and grits came out cold. I really couldn't get past a few bites and I don't like sending food back especially when it's busy so I just sat and watched my partner eat his meal. Service was pretty lackluster, I don't like feeling like I am putting someone out for asking for more water or for the biscuits that we ordered at the very beginning. It just wasn't the experience I was hoping for. It might have been just an off day and I understand that that could happen. I hope someday to give it another try.
Neither the host or the server noticed when we arrived for our reservation. We waited at the front for nearly
10 minutes before being noticed and then waited at our table for 5 minutes before being noticed. The meal was not fresh nor were the portions fair for the price.
This was our Eastern weekend with my sister-in-law and her family.
We ate on the patio and it was a lovely get together.
Gotta try the honey dusted fried chicken! The meatloaf was also the stellar. It was the juiciest meatloaf I have ever had. All around great meal from the mashed potatoes to the mac n cheese.
Our server was wonderful!
This place is great! I felt bad for the waiter because she had a lot of tables and ended up messing up or forgetting some of our stuff. I don’t feel it’s her fault though because due to covid restrictions I’m sure that’s why there were less waiters. She was super nice though even though she was stressed running around everywhere. Overall, loved my experience here!
First time there and we will definitely be back. Not sure I’m over those biscuits!
Great place to have happy hour, but not for a dinner experience. Food was alright, biscuits were awful for a southern cuisine. Host or busboy guy, whatever he is did not seem welcoming. Our server was nice but seem more like an order taker, she got weeded so fast and couldn't keep up.
We sat outside on the Rockies opener. Great energy and table in the sun and shade. Great food!
I just randomly picked this restaurant off open table for a date night with my man. He is usually very picky his first bite he was in love. I feel it was also very tasty, and reasonably priced. Our server Jamie was absolutely amazing as well. Would recommend this place.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review! We're glad you enjoyed your experience at Tupelo, and are thrilled you took the time to show us some love! We can't wait to host you again soon! Biscuits & Bloodys, Team Tupelo Denver
The staff was nice, although it seemed like no one noticed that we were at the host stand for probably 5-7 minutes, along with another couple. The food was tasty but the portions were tiny and not necessarily worth the price. Cute spot, probably better for drinks, but if you’re hungry, it’s probably not a good choice.
I had the veggie plate - two helpings of Brussels sprouts (burnt many layers down), one helping of Mac ‘n cheese (dried from being under a heating lamp) and one helping of green beans (pretty good).

Acceptance to medical school family visiting
It was a pleasure to host (and celebrate) with you! We hope to see you in again soon!
Tupelo Honey has some very tasty treats. The food is comforting and cravable. The service at the Denver location does have something to improve upon. From the hostess being unwelcoming and dismissive to the servicers acting in a similar manner, the restaurant fails to convey Southern charm or hospitality. The experience was okay at best.

We love this place!! Modern Southern food 👍🏻
Thanks for the love! Come back and see us again soon!
Service was great and very attentive !! Food was pretty good, given the limitations of dietary needs. It would be nice to have a vegetarian or gluten free menu written or denote what can be modified so the customer doesn’t fall in love with foods that can’t eat. But what was available for the modifications were good- just took a lot of work to figure out what could be modified. They do carry Udis for sandwiches etc.. which is nice. The drink menu is always creative and lots of options. My southern friend was the test and loved his fried chicken and grits !
The food was great, the drinks were good, and the vibe is casual and fun.
Nice comfortable friendly place....our server was awesome!
Our waiter Jamie was great and the food was rich but delicious!
So glad you enjoyed your experience with us! We love Jamie too! Cheers!
HEAVEN ON A PLATE.... FRIED CHICKEN AND MASH. ASK FOR MARIAH; SHE'LL GIVE YOU A "MAD AS A WET HEN" GLASS!!!! ALWAYS FOLLOW THE CHICKEN TRACKS STRAIGHT TO TUPELO FOR A GOOD TIME!! AND, ASK FOR MARIAH!!!
Thanks for the love Susan! We love Mariah too! Come back and see us again soon!
Love the food. Drinks expensive and weak
Thank you for the feedback! We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your food. Please do not hesitate to reach out to a manager next time you are in so we can make your experience a great one.
The service and staff was very friendly and we got seated in a descent amount of time. The service at the table was a little slower than most restaurants but nothing outrageous. I had ordered a mini pudding to go and was quite disappointed at the serving size. The amount was literally just two tablespoons, really $4 for one bit of pudding. Also of course being downtown you had to pay an arm and a leg for parking but that is to be expected based on the location.
Now the good. The chicken and biscuits were delicious and cooked just right. The brunch drinks were also very tasty. We would definitely come back again for a girls brunch.
Thank you for the feedback! We appreciate the honesty and hope you come back to visit us again soon. Cheers!
Hot tea could’ve been better. Only one tea bag which doesn’t really cover a pot + cup of hot water.
Thank you for the feedback! Next time you are in, please do not hesitate to mention anything we can do to make your experience a great one. Cheers!
