Service was a bit off today, but it was their first day back in action since March so... food was good. Timing on it was off, but again, 1st day jitters. The scenery was spectacular.

We love Tupelo Honey, but this time around the macaroni was very salty, and the Brussels sprouts tasted awful. Not a fan of your mixed greens salad. 😬On plus side Chicken and service was great.

Service took quite a bit longer than usual. Makes sense with the Sunday brunch crowd but it would have been nice to have more attentive service. I get it, I’m just comparing to all the other times I’ve visited for Sunday brunch. Server was really sweet though. We’ll be back soon!

Went to Tupelo Honey to celebrate a birthday. We had never tried it before but it was conveniently located downtown where we were spending our day. It was a good choice. We enjoyed cocktails, appetizers and dinner. All items were great. I especially enjoyed the mac and cheese bites. They were superb!

Love the food here. Expensive but is worth the price. We heard there was a great bottomless mimosa deal - checked the website before booking the reservation and again while we were there and it was still shown as offered online. After we ordered some appetizers and went to order drinks, we were unfortunately told that they no longer offer bottomless mimosas at all, even though it is still advertised on their site. They would unfortunately not honor that deal either. Again, it's great food, but we would not have chosen Tupelo for this occasion had we known this to be true. I thought checking the website a couple times would be enough to ensure we knew what we were coming for.

Usually love this place, they were a little off their game though when we went for brunch. Food wasn't cooked right, took longer than it should for drinks to arrive, etc. Will go back, but just this time I was not that impressed.

Food was pretty good not great, biscuits were dry wand four biscuits came with about a tablespoon of jam, was $150 for 4 people to have brunch. Hostess was not super friendly and waited about 15 minutes past our reservation time to get seated and took about an hour and a half to order get our food and eat. It was pretty good but don't think I'll go back

Busy Sunday brunch at 10:30. We had reservations & quickly seated however took awhile to get coffee & things going. Once we were waited on it got better. Good, fun waitress who was accommodating and good food.

Manager also noticed we waited awhile & made up for it with biscuits & coffee on the house. Hey we’re all human- noticing is the first & best step...then doing something about it.

I’d go back, maybe earlier in the morning if I did brunch ;-)

We were there during Restaurant Week...we didn't do the pre-fix menu, we ordered off the regular menu. The food was not great...ordered the Warm Pimento Cheese dip, it came after our main courses were served and it tasted like horseradish. For dinner we had Shoo Mercy Shrimp and Grits, a runny, soupy mess lacking in flavor; Shoo Mercy Sweet Potato Pancakes, chicken was over cooked, pancakes were just okay; and we also had the Cast Iron Pork, thin small piece of meat with not a lot of flavor, the Parmesan & Rosemary Potato Cracklins were very good but the roasted cauliflower and carrots in creole butter....you mean just butter because we didn't taste any creole. We also had the Cathead Biscuits, they were tasty, a little salty but good. The restaurant was very noisy, hard to talk to your friends. Y'all should spend some time in the south and learn somethin!

This was our second time here (last time was about 6 mos ago) and it was a huge disappointment this go around. We went late afternoon on a Saturday and it was not very busy. Our food took forever and I was told by the server that my chicken looked "rubbery" so he requested the kitchen make me a new dish. It took about 20 minutes more to get my food (chicken sandwich) after everyone else had received theirs, and in the interim he brought me my (wrong) side. My husband had the friend chicken and he said it was a hard as a hocky puck. Someone else in our party got a salad with grilled chicken and her chicken tasted rubbery and had a funky texture. We ordered 2 appetizers for the table and they took a long time to receive (20-30 min) and were brought out separately with a 15 min delay in between. Service was slow and incorrect and this was the LONGEST lunch/brunch...and the food was definietly not nearly as good as our last visit. Unfortunately we will not be back.

Southerner here (Arkansas & Louisiana). A good deal of the menu is legit. Some of it has definitely been made more fancy, some for good, some not so much. However, there's plenty of great food. I highly recommend the fried chicken, collard greens, and fried okra. The Well Rested in Manhattan is tied for the best Manhattan I've ever had. I've been here a few times and will continue to stop in!

My friend and I went on a Wednesday for dinner and had the Restaurant week menu. It wasn't too crowded which was great. Our waitress was very nice and checked on us without going overboard. The food was delicious and the portions very nice. We come here for Happy hour frequently and like both the bar and patio in the summer. I would have dinner here again.

Biscuits w/ jelly - nom nom nom
Pimento cheese - yaaas!
Fried pickles - nice thin batter, love it!
Collards - the taste is definitely there, but (sorry for the but..) collard leaves should not be cut/chopped. Should be torn whole off from the stem..just saaaying

It was good and some of it really hit the spot, but having lived in the south the food really didn't come close to being near as good as some other 'southern' food options around.
We made it in time for Happy Hour - which lasts until 6p everyday of the week and provides some solid values. Fried green tomatoes and the fried pickles were great.
Shrimp and grits were good, but did not live up to some of the better reviews.
Fried chicken was solid.
Mac and Cheese fried bites - pretty good.
Collard greens with bacon - yum if you like such.
Good service, good ambience, great location. The food was just not near as good as we were hoping and craving.

We never ate there. Had a 7pm reservation. We were a couple minutes late and I asked the hostess if it would be a long wait, and she said no, they were just cleaning off a few tables and we'd be seated shortly. 20 minutes later we walked out to find another restaurant, after standing around twiddling our thumbs and no further communication from the hostess. We were a little sketchy on the southern fare menu, which also contributed to our decision to abort. So ignore our rating on the food, we have no idea. Good news is that I'm trying to lose a few, and not such a bad thing to miss a meal (which we ended up doing). Oh well. Reservations for Ocean Prime next weekend - I'm sure that will be a different story.
