The food and wait service were outstanding although the food was quite pricy. We (4) felt it was worth the price. The only downside was we were placed near the bar area where a very load musician played piano and sang, making conversation at our table difficult. Next time we will ask to be seated far away from the bar.

Food and service was excellent. We went for Thanksgiving so restaurant was extremely busy. We were seated exactly at our reservation time. Waitress greeted us within a minute or so afterwards. We were also celebrating a birthday and were treated to the Baked Alaska for dessert which was fabulous.

I ordered pan seared Chilean sea bass with parmesan mashed potatoes and my husband had the Alaskan king crab also with parmesan mashed potatoes and asparagus. EVERYTHING was excellent!!!!! Stephen was our server and also was excellent! Very attentive, explained the menu very well and had a great personality. The service was great from the moment you arrive. We loved Truluck's and if we lived in Naples we would frequent this lovely restaurant. Whenever we're back visiting for sure we're coming here.

Thanksgiving dinner. Absolutely delicious. We opted for a non traditional dinner. Salmon and Branzino are what we ordered. The service was impeccable. Our server was Colby, well versed on the menu options and a delightful personality. Could not have asked for a more perfect dining experience.

The appearance of the food presentation was not good. Food looked liked piled up on one the plate. Turkey needs to be cut a bit thinner to thick. Gravy has no taste not great quality. Should be natural juices from the turkey. Too much scallions in the mash potatoes . Too much on the desert as far as the caramel,pecans .To much overload takes away from the flavor of the desert. We come during the holidays every year at Christmas and our first time for Thanksgiving. A big disappointment because the food is usually always good and usually have a pleasant and enjoyable time when we come.Our server Samantha was great!

We enjoyed another Thanksgiving at Truluck’s. We were seated right away in the dining room, our waiter was very knowledgeable, professional and attentive. We will definitely be back a agin. Highly recommend for holidays or for just a lovely night out! The food was delicious, from the lobster scampi, to the jumbo crab claws to the turkey dinner!

Honestly - we have always enjoyed Trulucks as a special evening to celebrate events. This visit was disappointing. With reservations, we waited 1/2 hour to be seated. Requested a table in the dining room by a window, which we did not get. We were seated behind a wall with a third chair pulled up. Throughout the evening everyone who passed behind me, rubbed or pumped my chair. Not good.

The entire evening was wonderful! Beautiful setting, excellent service from John and delicious food. We were celebrating a birthday and the table was decorated with sparkles when we arrived. A special delicious desert was brought out flaming as a surprise from Trulucks. This restaurant is consistently excellent.

I had salmon crudo as an appetizer which melted in your mouth! We also shared the meat balls as an appetizer which were scrumptious. Miso glazed sea bass for my main course was absolutely delicious. Wine selection is outstanding. The manager followed up with us after our meal to check on everything. We will be back.

Unfortunately I think they tried to squeeze a table for 10 onto an 8 top and I had made the reservations with enough notice to have figured out a better accommodation. And although we did add one more person at the last minute, it didn’t matter 10 was a squeeze and when we inquired about a different table the hostess replied “well you added another person last minute”. Not exactly the right response to the birthday boy who was there to enjoy his evening but seemingly dismissed for not being pleased

So we love this restaurant, and we usually enjoy the food, the service and the atmosphere. Unfortunately, last night two of the fish dishes were not good. It was the snapper and did not seem fresh and both the women who ordered it did not fell well this morning. Also, we were next to a very loud group. They must have been celebrating for a while prior to us being seated. Anyway, we have another reservation and we are hoping the next time we will have better luck with the food. Sorry, I hate to complain but since both of the ladies felt ill today I thought I would respond.

We would have given five stars for food, but the crab claws were VERY OVERCRACKED, which greatly hindered the ability to enjoy the claws. So many tiny pieces of shell in almost every bright. Only disappointment to our evening and dinner. However, great place and I can see why this is a special occasion restaurant.

In the context of today’s economy, I believe Trulucks provided very good value. Most food items were excellent. The only miss on this visit were the oysters - a bit “watery” and tasteless. The service was superb. Jelena is efficient, effective, professional and very personable. One of the finest servers we’ve had the good fortune to have in a very long time. We’re going back in about 4 days and have requested Jelena.
