About this restaurant

  • Good for business meals
  • Neighborhood gem
  • Romantic
Trinity Grille is an upscale restaurant located in the heart of Denver, Colorado. This local eatery is the quintessential business restaurant. Dimly lit by chandeliers, the dining room features a rich mahogany bar and tables with leather booths. The bartender knows the locals, and the cocktails are poured with high-end liquors and one or two additional ingredients. The menu has several influences, from local ingredients like the Canadian walleye, which is crusted with almonds and topped with a brown butter hollandaise, to the Hawaiian chicken sandwich topped with Havarti cheese, bacon and pineapple. Trinity Grille is also known for its fantastic happy hour, when drink and appetizer prices are cut significantly for the lunch crowd.

I thought the place was nice food was good and the host was very accommodating. The only thing is Open Table should make note when the kitchen closes. We did have a set reservation but it was close to the time the kitchen closed and people were running late. But again the host accommodated and was very professional and serving. Good food music and the ambiance great!

While my title doesn't exactly scream excitement, ha, my experience at Trinity Grille was good. The menu had options with steak, fish, chicken and an array of other appetizers and sides. The service was great! It had a neighborhood feel while being located in the middle of downtown. The only real negative is the interior is a bit dated.

The Trinity Grill is a favorite spot for lunch. The reason? Good service and good food. At night, this is not the lower downtown bar scene area. The Brown Palace is across the street. The food at night is better, it is not as crowded and the food is better than the Ship's Tavern. Come and try. You will like it.

My girl friend and I were looking for a romantic destination, and hadn't booked out ahead, so we were limited in our options. The reviews looked positive. But, it was essentially an old bar with tables and booths, high ceilings and bright ceiling lights. The food was really good, and although our soup came out cold, they reheated it. If you want any ambiance, try somewhere else. If you want good relatively inexpensive food and don't mind sitting in view of the bar and TVs, give it a shot.

Bartender had to seat us, waitress got lost for 10-15 after our guests ordered their drinks. Wrong or right, I expected more/better....and I recommended it to the entire party and was disappointed. For the price, it should be better.

Moving here from New York and after reading the reviews I was expecting much more. The service was good not great. The food was adequate. I really don't see anything special in this restaurant. It was at best average.

Had a wonderful meal at Trinity Grille. We had the steak frites and the filet mignon. Excellent!

Food only average. Server was good but slow given how few people were there. Will not return.
