At Trestle, we remember a time, not too long ago, where people took pause to enjoy a meal in the presence of great company, giving it the reverence and respect deserved. We provide a dining experience served in courses, with the satisfaction and warmth found at a family gathering, creating the foundation to a proper meal.
Every day we feature a changing 3 course prix fixe menu with choices on each course for $39/person. We will have an optional additional pasta course for $12/person.
We are able to accommodate vegetarian options nightly. We do our best to accommodate other allergies/restrictions based on the menu for that evening.

Food and cocktails were amazing!
Trestle is a gem and I was so happy to dine there again after getting vaccinated. I had a beautiful meal and loved that the pop-up location offered a full bar. The cocktails were inventive and delightful! The meal and service were of the impeccable caliber I am used to from the team. Overall it was an outstanding experience and I’m excited to return again and again!
Wonderful food, great ambiance, terrific staff- warm and welcoming! We will definately be back with family and friends. We felt covid safe and the tables were appropriately distance from each other. Staff wore masks, and patrons wore masks too when not eating or drinking. Great evening!
Disappointing but excellent service and staff
It was our second dinner in TRESTLE in a month and we were not disappointed. The price/performance ratio is unbeatable and the food is delicious. I truly recommend them.
Trestle is amazing no matter where it is located. You can’t have a better experience in dining in SF at this price point.
The owner, Tai, greeted us warmly at the door and stopped by to chat a couple times throughout the night which was beyond kind. Her bright personality made our dining experience even more delightful. The food was excellent as well.
Menu is still solid - though not necessarily easy for vegetarians who don't want a ton of dairy. The pop up space is certainly a departure from their charming and cozy location pre-COVID. All in all, it's not exactly the same Trestle that we've known and loved, but close enough that we're happy to go back again.
Truly one of the best-kept dining secrets in town, though I doubt that will last. The food is stunning, the setting is lovely, and the crew is wonderful.
We had a fantastic meal, with attentive but not intrusive staff. The bonus pasta course was a highlight and I really recommend.
Food was well prepared, though lacked a bit of creativity.
Service was mediocre, as pacing was way off. We ordered drinks and a supplemental dish and it all came in the following order: Salad and soup first, then bread, then drink, then supplemental dish, followed by our two main dishes probably 15 mins later.
All in all, it was a good value for prefix.
Amazing service, fantastic food and such a cool pop up spot! Highly recommend!
Novel food creations and a welcoming attitude from start to finish. Prepare to be pleasantly supplied
The 3 course meal with the pasta supplement was exceptional to the palate as it was esthetically pleasing on the plate, while service was superior in an elegant space. Every bite of each meal (green garlic soup, falafel salad, trumpet mushroom and asparagus risotto, chicken roulade with bread pudding, roasted salmon, cheesecake, and brownie sundae) was balanced and satisfying. The cocktails were also nicely presented as well as uplifting with equal parts spirits and tastiness. I plan to return for another enjoyable 3 course meal soon!
Given the COVID restrictions our experience was good. We do not live in SF and might try Trestle again but I would not go out of my way to recommend it to friends. Service was good, very helpful and friendly. One or two problems with the food. My husband was served his salmon cold but as soon as he complained he was given a freshly cooked piece of salmon that was delicious. The order of our meal was mixed up... our desserts came out before our main course.. again this was quickly taken care of....
As always, very special.
Food was great, dessert was phoned in.
Great to have trestle back and the team did not disappoint.
Amazing dining experience through and through. Went on 4/7/21. Fine dining experience without the fine dining prices. Amazing service, amazing ambience, amazing food at a price point that won't break the bank.
The only thing difficult is finding the entrance to the parking (and the security actually checks your trunk lol) which is on Pine Street past Montgomery going up the hill.
Everything was really memorable from the hand-written note on our table to help celebrate our anniversary to the sleek club-like atmosphere where they currently are at The Vault, to the escalator with all the tulips in the middle, to the amazing service from beginning to end. Josh was our server. Hostess was extremely friendly as well.
Pro-Tip: they don't automatically serve bread but make sure you ask for it because that's some of the best dang bread I've ever had...basted with butter on both sides and then grilled...crunchy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth tender on the inside.
We enjoyed every dish they had; though my wife found all of their dishes on the saltier side, I really enjoyed the seasoning on each dish. When we went, we had green garlic soup, salmon, chicken roulade, and a deconstructed cheesecake. We got the supplements of spaghetti carbonara and asparagus risotto for an extra $12 and are glad we did because both had a lot of flavor. All their dishes are very unique and not something we've had before. I love that they change their menu weekly...makes me want to come back for sure.
Amazing restaurant and their new location is much larger and more homy.
Portions were quite small, especially the entree.
I always love Trestle and the new space was a delight! I felt incredibly safe, and I can't wait to come back.
Birthday. Place was very good.
I always love going to Trestle because the food is delicious and I always get something new because of their changing menu. The location was convenient, beautiful and very spacious so I felt safe with all the distancing between tables.
Loved the entire staff and food!
Perfection! This is the best deal for a fabulous dinner in San Francisco. The food is consistently fabulous and innovative.
Great food and service at reasonable prices.
Delicious food and great service! I didn’t feel like I was in a restaurant, it was very intimate.
Fantastic food and service. Could not recommend highly enough.
The menu wasn’t great. The fish was terrible. Not a great scene felt like I was in a hotel lobby.
The team there did a great job of taking care of us. The food was very good - unique combinations and flavorful.
Indoor dining that was socially distanced and the excellent service that Trestle is known for. Food was delicious and I’m excited to return.
Always love going to Trestle. The food is amazing, every time. The service is great. The new pop-up venue has cocktails and they are innovative and delicious.
Trestle has alway been one of the best prix fixe menus around, and its wonderful that they have been able to re-open as Trestle pops up at The Vault.
The room is beautiful, tables are well spaced, there is a full bar with fun and interesting cocktails. Our dinner was excellent, we ordered the full menu (with the pasta course) and couldn't pick a favorite because everything was so delicious. I'm not stating the specific dishes because the menu changes, but you can be sure they will always be good.
The folks there are so nice, knowledgable and professional, you get the feeling that they love food, wine and creating a great night out. I hope everyone will support this amazing place!
Great experience. Loved the food and service. Keeping up!
Three gal pals and I went to Trestle’s new pop up at the Vault to celebrate...and it was WONDERFUL. The group of us range from cautious to moderate on the COVID - comfort scale. This was all of our first time eating indoors in a restaurant since COVID started a year ago.
I have eaten at Trestle’s permanent location many times and always enjoyed the ambiance, service, food, and attention to detail. This experience was no different.
The COVID protocol was exceptional: only four people allowed in a section of the restaurant- we only saw one other set of diners and they were over 15 feet away. The service was excellent and the food as good as I remember.
Highly recommend visiting Trestle in their new pop up at the Vault.
The place is great, elegant and the staff are responsible and care about your safety in Covid. It felt safe we enjoyed our food, and our time there
The atmosphere is affected by the distance between tables. Server was distracted by a patron who monopolized his time with conversation.
Trestle is one of my favorite restaurants and I missed it during COVID 19z
We went to Trestle pop-up at the Vault in SF. We were very pleased with everything—the beautiful three courses (we also added a pasta course), the cocktail, the wine by the glass, the excellent and friendly service, the setting, and the very reasonable price. We can’t wait to visit again. (We are comparing to other first-rate SF restaurants of our exoerience, like Acquerello, Absinthe, A16, and Zuni Cafe.)
