Renowned chef Tom Brown is set to unveil his highly anticipated new restaurant, Tom Brown at The Capital, opening its doors on 10th April in the heart of Knightsbridge.

Marking a return to the prestigious hotel where he first made a name for himself as Head Chef at Outlaw’s, the intimate 28-cover restaurant will champion Tom’s signature style of clean, creative, and flavour-led dishes with a strong emphasis on seafood.

We were made to feel very special with attentive personal service. Tom’s food was fabulous, so great to have seafood as the star of the show. The cuttlefish in particular was stunning. They were very accommodating to my gluten free partner adapting the menu to suit the dietary requirements through out.

Beautiful and quiet place. Food was well presented but didn’t taste as impressive as they looked The gurnard was a bit fishy, and the almond milk was too light to match the fish The plaice was ok but the lobster sauce was way too salty and heavy, and rather spoiled the refreshing plaice and the courgettes (the courgettes were tasty) The chocolate crémeux was the highlight of the meal, extremely rich and well balanced. It made up for the plainness of the previous dishes Interestingly, they didn’t offer amuse boche, petit four, or even bread! Not sure if it was because I ordered lunch menu, or they just don’t do it at all. Although I have very small appetite and was satisfied with the quantity of food, I felt that as a fine dining restaurant those items shouldn’t be missing

Great meal today at 14.00 and Charlie front of house kept energy high and food was absolutely brilliant and had nine course meal with great drinks Desert felt like an after thought although tasted brilliant but didn’t seem part of meal, but lady making and delivering desert was brilliant

We had an outstanding meal at Tom Brown at the Captial. The food was quite exceptional and probably one of the best meals I've ever eaten - including places with 3 Michelin stars. the squid ravioli was amazing and such a clever idea. The room was very quiet which usually presages bad service. But not in this case. We were very well looked after. All in all one of the best meals out I've ever had.

From the moment we walked in, we received the most professional service and wonderful food. The front of house team member was enthusiastic, well informed and happy to answer my many questions. We chose two different menus and were impressed with the quality and presentation of each course. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed the staff delivering some courses and telling us about them. They clearly took pride in what they do. The bread course came with 3 different offerings and one was truly delicious as it tasted of crab although the colour belied the intenseness of the flavour. The meal was well paced and we didn’t feel rushed - or abandoned! It was a special occasion and worth the journey to enjoy an eating experience that was memorable. Good luck to Tom and the team for the future!

A wonderful experience from the warm welcome by the doorman and throughout the entire evening from every member of the team. The food is exquisite with amazing depth of flavours and beautifully presented. The waiters explained every course really clearly. The opportunity to visit the kitchen and meet Tom and the chef team was a really nice touch. The Seaside Sour cocktail is wonderful and highly recommended too! The dining room is a lovely environment and the staff are so friendly and welcoming - it all combined to make a very enjoyable evening.
