    Have been here multiple times and it’s always great. Drinks take a few minutes usually, but it appears its because the bar is always slammed. Server was top notch. Would definitely recommend.

    Ordered the smoked chicken salad. The chicken was hard and chewy like it was over-microwaved. Also there was hardly any chicken. And it was served on a tiny plate. This did not seem to fit the nearly $19 price. My husband's eggs Benedict was overcooked as well. The egg was more hard cooked than hot it should be traditionally runny

    We love happy hour at Thirsty Lion. My 9 year son and I have been twice in the last six months and Mauricio was our server both times. He is so kind and attentive. He remembered us from our previous visit! Food is always a great value and super tasty. Fun to watch all the sporting events and good music is always playing. Always a great night out at the Thirsty Lion.

    Our server was very personable and on it in the beginning. However, I think he got overwhelmed and then he went MIA. Had to flag him down to get our check.

    This was our third time eating here and we always enjoy the food and service. This time my husband had the Ahi Poke Bowl and I had the grilled Atlantic Salmon. Both tasted great. We followed up with the apple crumble with ice cream for dessert. Yum!

    Food was really good ! There seasonal Waygo and Prosciutto burger was really good, they should make it a staple on their menu. Mauricio our server was attentive , fun and funny . Good food and good service makes for a really good night and would make us come back again.

    As one of the few restaurants downtown offering a Saturday Happy Hour, we decided to give Thirsty Lion a try before heading for a concert at the Paramount. Thirsty Lion offers a variety of drinks and food during Happy Hour, making it the right choice. There's nothing worse than eating a full meal right before going to a show or concert. Of the drinks, the Old Fashioned was a good choice, but there is something there for everyone, including beer and wine. Of the food, we enjoyed the Spicy Fried Chicken Sliders and Pork Carnitas Tacos. The Spicy Fried Cauliflower was also worth a try, though the sauce will wear out your taste buds before you finish - they really need to use something a bit lighter and less cloying. In any case, the service was excellent and we spent about what we have come to expect from a Happy Hour in downtown Denver, so we will visit again.
