   Our brother in law, John Holcomb, had told us about the Village Pub, describing it as one of the finest restaurants he had ever been too. John is an internationally known trial attorney and his recommendation goes a long way with his clients, family and friends. So, of course, we had to try it out. Wow. We had one of the best meals ever and were overwhelmed by the ambience and quality service. Thank you so much for wonderful dining experience. Dr Dennis Jones & Caroline

   Went on a Wednesday night to celebrate an anniversary. Staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. To start us off, Bill, our waiter offered us some champagne ( on the house) knowing that we were celebrating our anniversary. Throughout the night, he would check on us regularly making sure everything was satisfactory! Our water glasses would be filled when needed…and our wine poured just at the appropriate time.  My First course, I had the BELLWETHER FARMS RICOTTA RAVIOLETTIMOREL MUSHROOMS / ENGLISH PEAS / BROWN BUTTER NAGE, it was delicious! And for my entrée, the Almond wood-grilled Leo Bandit Ranch ribeye, (medium rare) cooked perfectly. And the key lime pie for dessert, loved it! My wife started with the CITRUS-CURED RED SNAPPER CRUDO PICKLED FRESNO CHILIS / TANGERINE / COCONUT-LIME VINAIGRETTE, and thought it was delicious. For her entrée she had the Honey Glazed 38 North Duck Breast, which she really enjoyed. Her dessert, (chocolate soufflés) didn’t go over as well…she thought it didn’t have the right consistency, a little too moist/ soggy. Chocolate lovers, it’s very chocolatey and a few bites go’s a long way…I thought it was pretty good. Overall , we really enjoyed our meal even though it is very pricey and charge a $65 corkage fee. I do want to thank all the staff, especially our waiter Bill for making our night feel special! Honey glazed 38 N. duck breast.

   This is now our go to restaurant when we want a good meal and be pampered. Our favorite server was always excellent. We are really spoiled. Considering the quality of the food, the price charged is very reasonable. We also love the outdoor dining space. Nicest of all outdoor spaces that we have seen. But even inside, the tables are far apart, very comfortable.

   We normally adore Village Pub but they seemed “off” on this particular visit. Still lovely but that extra attention to detail that we typically experience here was definitely missing. No one single glaring mishap but just several small annoyances that made it feel less special than it has in the past. We will absolutely go back and I hope we find that it was just a one time thing.

   Our favorite restaurant to celebrate anything or just enjoy a relaxing dinner out. Service is outstanding and friendly, too, not stuffy as in some Michelin starred restaurants. Food is really delicious. Especially enjoyed the omelette with mushrooms, cheese and a mystery sauce to die for at brunch. Like that you can get a half bottle of wine.

    Went here to celebrate father’s day and it didn’t disappoint. Food and service was excellent and we really felt comfortable while eating. Will definitely go back again!
