We enjoyed a fabulous Sunday Brunch at VP. Exquisite 3 course Prix Fixe menu with diverse and interesting dishes to excite most palates and an extensive list of complimentary wines that might take an entire week to peruse! We “ settled” for a half bottle of Sancerre - a real amuse bouche for the taste buds. Food wise, we chose the carrot soup and ricotta crepe to start z, followed by smoked salmon and a lobster frittata, both of which were divine. Desserts were a real treat to round out our lunch. Beautiful location , excellent ambience and attention to detail set this place apart. Wait staff were professional, knowledgeable and attentive which strongly enhanced a delightful gastronomic experience. Definitely recommend and will visit again.

My daughter (age 9) and I had a lovely brunch on the patio at Village Pub. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. I had a lobster frittata with greens and herbs that had a wonderful combination of flavor and texture. The restaurant accommodated my daughter with some homemade pasta and a tasty birthday desert (which was complimentary). I would highly recommend the Village Pub for a special meal in a very pleasant setting.

Overall we enjoyed the service and food, although we were very disappointed that they ran out of bread, so didn’t provide a bread course with our meal. For the starter, I had the risotto - which was amazing. My partner had the carrot soup - which she described as good - but not amazing. For the main course, I ordered the lobster fondant - this was pretty nice, although I was jealous of my partner’s ribeye- which was phenomenal. For desert I had the beignets - which were good, but not as good as my partners chocolate soufflé. I partly blame myself for trying to be adventurous, rather than going for known favorites. The sommelier was very helpful, and found me a great by-the-glass white wine to pair with the food. Overall we enjoyed the experience, but will probably not visit again - at least until we’ve done the other Michelin rated restaurants in the area.

We wanted a special restaurant for the last night of my brother and sister-in-law's visit celebrating her 50th birthday. I do not think we've been to the Village Pub since before the pandemic, and thought it was time to return. That was an excellent decision as we thoroughly enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal. I must say that selecting wines with dinner was not an easy task as the wine list is enormous and spectacular. The staff was very helpful. I must say that I was quite full at the end of the meal, and the chef sent out several more surprises for us to enjoy. They were all wonderful on the tongue. We sat outside, and it was a very comfortable and relaxing ambience. Thank you Village Pub for a perfect evening. We look forward to our next meal with you.

Took mom here for her birthday for the prix fixe menu for some French/Californian bites. The service was excellent - very attentive, friendly but not overbearing. Compliments from the chef were much appreciated. The kampachi was fresh, though you might not love it if you can't deal with fishy fish. Duck breast was flavorful - the pistachio crust was the saving grace to the slightly over charred skin. Great jus and the figs complemented the meat well. I preferred the game hen - very tender & juicy. The eggplant on the side was a bit too salty - sat marinated for too long and the pickled bits on top exacerbated the saltiness. The desserts were the ABSOLUTE showstoppers of the night - very well curated cakes, souffle was so rich and dense. Portions were plenty for upscale dining, maybe even a bit too generous! Great for an intimate dinner or special occasion.

Bread was fabulous. Risotto was pretty good. Duck was excellent. Wagyu rib eye was excellent. Salmon was good. Beignet had alcohol in it so not so good for me. But the complementary madeleines were excellent.
