The Staff was really the star of the experience. Everyone was so attentive and accommodating of every request. The food was great as always, big steak and lobster.
Food was cold, took a long trike to get any service and the food did not look like the pictures online. Price was high for what you get. Not going back
Food was excellent. The wait staff was superb.
Waited over 30 minutes after I ordered wine only to be told out of stock. Food came out and 1 steak was cold and the other barely warm. Mgr. was unresponsive
The service was amazing and the whole scene of the restaurant was very nice at night. The prices were not the best but the food was great. They even got my steak wrong but had absolutely no issue taking it back and fixing it, i appreciate that.
My wife and are from Las Vegas where we lived there for 13+ years and we know what a great dining experience looks and feels like and our night at The Palms - Denver was the complete opposite of a great experience.
My wife and I had reservations for 7:30 pm on Thanksgiving night for Thanksgiving Dinner. We were sat on time at 7:30 pm. From there we ordered drinks and our appetizers (Wine & Lobster Bisque soup), our drinks came out promptly. Our appetizers came out 30 minutes later and the soup was like warm, where we sent both soups back and waited another 15 minutes for our appetizers to come back out. The waitress was apologetic about the wait. We finished our appetizers and waited for our main course Turkey, dressing and our sides. The main course came out and the Turkey and dressing was luke-warm and they used Stove Top dressing which is a pretty cheap way of serving “Turkey and trimmings” while charging $56 per person for a turkey dinner when you’re using $3 Stove Top dressing. Our plates were also missing our cranberry sides... The hostess/manager came to our table and apologized and comped our whole meal and drinks based on our entire experience (the food and the long wait times) which was much appreciated
I wouldn’t recommend the The Palms - Denver due to their expensive prices vs what you actually get, luke-warm food and long wait times and your order might be right or it might not.
Overall it was just a poor experience.
The Thanksgiving meal has gone downhill. This was my 4th year in a row and I was disappointed in some changes to how it is served as well as the overall flavor and care put on the plate.
Fiancé and I are both healthcare professionals and foodies. Visited Denver for a long weekend together. Dinner Thanksgiving Evening at The Palm. The Palm was the only disappointing experience of the whole trip. Seated in booth in the Bar Area which is fine. However server was amateur and not experienced, especially at fine dining, and it was abundantly obvious. She was neither familiar with their own specialty cocktails nor could she answer simple questions from the dinner menu. Lobster Bisque was good. Shared one spoon for half the bowl before another was spoon was brought. Salad was not split or offered to be spilt but good. However this is where it went downhill quickly. Filet was dry and nearly room temperature and wouldn’t even call it luke warm. Steak was split and served on two plates but no garnish, butter, etc. Brussels sprouts side were soggy and cold, yes cold. Tasted microwaved not sautéd or baked. Creamed spinach was hot and good. Overall service and food was fair at best. Not even close to other steak restaurants in its class. The Capital Grill, Morton’s, etc. Texas Roadhouse would honestly be a better alternative in both service and food. Do not recommend. Go elsewhere.
Food was great. Our wait person Brooke was excellent !!
Fantastic service and delicious food. This was our second time visiting The Palm and both times had exceptional service. I don't usually eat traditional Thanksgiving dinner, but I gave it a shot and everything from the soup to the flourless cake was perfect. Even the turkey was flavorful and not at all dry, which is rarely the case at home.
Don't go here for Thanksgiving! They offer a premium price for subpar food on Thanksgiving. While service reflected that of a 5-star restaurant, the food was frighteningly poor quality.
Mashed potatoes had the "instant" kind of texture. Cranberry sauce clearly had a thickener. Turkey had a weird "Butterball" kind of texture.
We had hoped to get the Palm experience, and instead left wishing we had gone to a place like Cracker Barrel. At least Cracker Barrel is never a disappointment.
Always an exceptional visit to the Denver Palm. Fantastic food and service. Nothing else really compares
The service was great, the food was incredible. The staff knew it was our anniversary and congratulated us.
Great Business Lunch Deal
Palm never disappoints. Food is always good. Waiters are on top of it. Very helpful friendly and inviting. Restaurant is very welcoming and you don't have to be UBER dressed up to have a great meal! Always great to share because there is always enough food to go around. Love the Palm
Excellent food, drinks and service. Highly recommend.
Excellent service from the front desk to the final check.
Of the amazingly many times that I have been to the Palm, this was the worst quality, portion, and service that I have ever experienced.
We have been to the Palm multiple times over the past 15 years and while in the beginning we had exceptional service and food, I cannot say that about our most recent visits.
Once seated it took several minutes for us to be welcomed or acknowldged by any member of the wait staff. When our waiter did finally come over he seemed extremely disappointed that we were not going to order any wine or bar beverages. As nondrinkers for the past 20 years, we are use to this look of disappointment from most waiters. Most know that means a smaller overall tab, which translates into a smaller overall tip. Occassionaly service suffers as a result of this. This was definitely the case with our Palm waiter on this particular evening. He was quite attentive to the tables around us making sure their glasses were full and drinks freshened, while our water or soda glasses sat empty. Disappointing!
When it came time to order our steaks, I asked if all the steaks were prime. He assured me they were. When one person in our party inquired as to the difference between the bone-in ribeye and the other ribeye on the menu our waiter looked at him like he was crazy and said, "the bone"... very insulting. Between us we ordered a mix of filet mignon and the Chairman's Ribeye. Our filet came undercooked and the Chairman's ribeye was a gristley tough to eat piece of beef. When our waiter asked how everything was, I mentioned that the ribeye was not as good as others I've had before. Then he proceeds to tell me that the Chairman's reserve was a step below prime which is why its always gristley. I was shocked he chose to tell us this now when we gave him ample opportunities to share this before ordering.
In addition to the questionable service and poor steaks, our gigi salads were all missing roasted peppers and avacado.
While we are members of the 837 club, it will be hard to return.
Ali is the best waiter! So gracious and efficient! Best food item tonight? Bacon wrapped scallops appetizer. Entree? Mussels and scallops over linguini! We went meatless tonight- a first.
Great food and a nice atmosphere. Overall very impressed with our fine dining experience.
Was really good! Wish the Brussels sprouts were crispier.
Had a party of 9 and ordered family style and the accommodated is nicely. The food is amazing.
Great place to have a lunch business meeting. Service fantastic, food excellant, attentiveness just right.
Always a great experience
The food was a little salty, otherwise it was amazing. Best place to spend my birthday away from home. I would like to thank the staff for making it great even though my moms purse was stolen.
Excellent waiter service...food was excellent and we loved the atmosphere!
Awesome meal- pricey for sure but great quality
The Palm does a great job with business lunches. The food is great and the service is very good.
The food was great. I had the sea bass that was prepared just right. The service was terrible, looked like our waiter was just starting in his profession. He couldn’t even open a bottle of wine without breaking the cork. There were several large parties and the noise level in the area with low ceiling was unbearable.
The Bar area and the Main Dining Room were very very noisy. It was hard to hear dinner talk.
Food was Great.
Service was slow - Bar Guests, seem to be forgotten, at times.
Dinner with two friends. The service was exceptional. A special was a 5 lb lobster. Cooked perfectly. What a treat.
Great for business meals
Sunday evening dinner is elegant and relaxing environment. Very attentive and caring waitstaff.
The staff was exceptional, as always, and the food was amazing. Service was fast and friendly, food prepared properly with bold, rich flavors and detailed plating. Fantastic!
The Surf and Turf meal was not a good value. The filet was good, but the lobster was pretty much nonexistent. It was like eating dinner while someone was talking about lobster in the next room.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We truly enjoyed our dinner and waiter.
Been coming to one Palm or another for decades: never been disappointed.
Their summer Lobster special, $99 for a 4 pounder, shared by two, can't be beat. Wine list is tops and so are the wine prices. Look carefully, there are some good values to be had. The downtown location at the Westin validates parking . With so many local "steak houses" to choose from we still prefer the Palm. Their wait staff are usually long tenured professionals so the service has always been superior.
Service was kind of slow. The table behind us sat a good 20 minutes after us and they got their salads first (the same salad that I ordered) so I'm not sure what happened there. We were also sat right by the kitchen door, which made for a lot of noise and servers running by.
What an amazing experience we had. It was our first time joint the Palms. We went for our wedding anniversary and they made us feel so special. Everything was amazing! The wrote a very nice card for us and left it on the table!
