This Palm location is closing, but the chain is still the best place for a big lobster dinner.
I booked a room at the Westin downtown for my wife and I anniversary and made reservations at the restaurant on location. There should have been no reason that we should have been able to book reservations at a restaurant that no longer exists. There should be notification that the current restaurant location is closed. Due to this we will probably not return.
The restaurant is permanently closed so uhhhh thanks for that?
We hadn't been here for quite a while. Denver has spawned so many steak houses in the last 10 years, from casual to special occasion restaurants, that it's difficult to have a favorite. They all have different themes, so it depends on whether you want to wear jeans or pearls and an evening bag. I had a Denver Dining book, so we decided to dine at the Palm for date night. I'm happy to say that the total dining experience was great. The wine list was well rounded, our steaks were tender and flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Our server Steven, was attentive, but not harassing. We will definitely be back and with friends!
Great food though a touch over priced. Great jazz music for lunch but was just a little loud
It was my wife’s birthday and I like to take her somewhere nice and I’ve always liked the palm. I didn’t realize I hadn’t been there in over 18 months so my membership card had expired. The one I paid for the last time I was there. So basically my card was a worthless piece of card board in my wallet. The waitress made that known to me and didn’t even ask if I would be interested in renewing. Needless to say it was disappointing. And the food was okay. We ordered a 4lb lobster. But it wasn’t as succulent as I remember. Especially for the price. Consumers only remember hood and bad experiences and on this occasion it was very bad especially for the value. There are several other upscale restaurants in the area where the value was ther when I went and this wasn’t one of them. Very disappointed . And unfortunately when I think of the majestic Palm. I will have this horrible memory.
The Filet Mignon with the Brandy Peppercorn sauce is simply succulent...
It was a perfect place for our anniversary. I highly recommend it if anyone is trying to spoil the love of there lives with a great time. Delicious food, great service and great music to listen to while enjoying the time being spent at the palm. Over all I’d love to go again if given the opportunity to do so.
Food was good at best. Not sure why it’s such an expensive place. Service was average with waiter tried to recommend the most expensive bottles of wine. I will not go back to this place.
I always find the food at The Palm to be great whether it's New York City, LA, Las Vegas or Denver.
Awesome for date night!! Great food and delicious cocktails!
Great service. Ali is the best.
Our waiter was disrespectful and rude, and I believe our food was over priced for what we had, my lady got a 3lb lobster ($90), and it still had its insides in it when it was served to us, awful, we will not be returning.
I have been a long time Palm 837 Club member - this last visit was a total disappointment - I had hoped they would reach out to me since I am an 837 member so I could express my disappointment by keeping it 'within the family' but since that did not happen..
If my total bill had been $50 (it was more than 9 times that) I would have still felt I over paid - nothing that evening felt like a "Palm Experience" - more than anything I was embarrassed for my dinner guest.
I realize that Valentines Day is not the best night to review any restaurant. This, however, was disappointing and so much less than what I’d hoped and expected. We chose the set VDay menu with the steak and lobster as the entree. Very good... not great. Service was lacking. We were sat in the middle of the room, not at all romantic. Is what it is on Valentines Day, I suppose.
The food was great, excellent service on Valentine's day. They even gave the wife a rose as we left the restaurant an unexpected but well taken gesture.
Service was good but lacking the personal touch. The noise level was high and the tables were too close together.
It’s sad when you go to an expensive restaurant and the service is awful. Our steaks were wonderful, but our waiter was rude, inattentive, and slow. I won’t go back
It was very busy. Ali provided superb service.
The service was absolutely the worst it was horrible we rented a private room to make it that much more special for my mother's birthday and unfortunately the service level was worse. The waiter was absolutely horrible must have been his first day on the job with absolutely zero experience on how to handle a fine dining experience our cups were empty every and each time the table was a mess the whole entire time complete Nightmare and disappointing do not recommend to anybody. The most disappointing part of it was at the end when they asked the tip amount because I consider myself a person of class and integrity we still tip 20% but by all means does not mean it's because we have good service
The food and service at the Palm are always fantastic!
My husband and I and our friends, four of us total, had a lovely dining experience last Saturday night! Our dinners were all to our liking and our waiter, Cliff, was a delightful addition to our experience. Cliff provided us with impeccable service. He was very engaging, but was also very respectful of our privacy. We celebrated two birthdays that evening and we all felt as if we were being treated specially! The restaurant was not noisy and the dining room had a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. We had a very enjoyable, fun evening, with great food! I would absolutely recommend The Palm to friends!
we loved the Palm, the food was amazing the service was wonderful and we are looking forward to have our even there this summer
Always fantastic my favorite place bar none!
We went there Friday night for dinner with reservations for two. Checked our coats and were seated. After a few minutes a waiter came by to say hi and tell us he didn’t know who would be serving us but took a drink order for my wife. He brought her drink back and we sat there for another 10 minutes watching servers walk back-and-forth without anybody coming to say they would be waiting on us.We finally got up and went back to the maître d’ and asked for our coats and went to another restaurant. Not the kind of service you would expect if you’re going to order a $50 steak.
The Palm Denver is always a pleasant experience! I took a special person there last night and it was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had at a restaurant in Denver in a while. I not only would refer any friend there, I plan on going back soon.
Discussed graphic design with client, good food, staff, atmosphere. Will definitely go again!
We've been eating at the Palm since it opened. Something has changed and not for the better--the ladies' room looked like no one had checked on it for a while, we had to ask twice for a bread basket which used to automatically be placed on the table, the service was slow considering there were perhaps three other tables, both couples split a chop chop salad and in both cases the men got significantly larger portions than the women (seriously?), the food was good but not outstanding like it used to be. Wondering what has happened to change the experience we have enjoyed for so many years.
New Years eve .. never sure what to expect, but the evening and out dinner were perfect. I had the best Rid Eye steak I have ever had, and the kitchen accommodated my wife, by sauteing the Calamari instead of frying it, on a very busy night .. Nice job, and I thank you
I ordered a 9 oz filet but the steak was so small it could not have been 9 Oz's. I also ordered the wedge salad. I received only a sliver of iceberg lettuce. I was quite surprised at the size and quality I received from The Palm.
The Palm is my favorite steakhouse in the country. Food is always perfect and service is professional, friendly and sincere. They really are the best.
The Palm is changing and for me that is not a plus. I go to The Palm for the memory of how The Palm was in New York City fifty years ago and more. Most of the other subsidiary restaurants around the USA had enough of the atmosphere and the menu to make that memory possible, at least a little. The steaks were always superb and that was not the case this time. The rest of the menu was fine and as it should be. They were out of many of the offerings on the menu however - especially desserts. There was not even any ice cream. The service was polite but slow and the restaurant was uncomfortably cold in winter. Hang on to your coat or jacket.
Great food and service. Love their crab cakes!!!
We had a wonderful meal backed up by great attentive service
Been going to the Palm for 20 years, worst meal I have every had. The only thing that was not ccold was the wine. HORRIBLE Christmas dinner I nave ever had! Everything was severed C O L D. No plans to go back.
Great as always
Time to update menu choices
The food was terrible. The calamari was over salted and not fresh. The steaks were dry and one was seriously under cooked and full of fat. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a box and days old. Our servers were the best! They were nice, personable and attentive. However this was one of the worst meals we’ve had. Food quality is below average and certainly not on par with a steakhouse of this caliber. We dine out weekly at nice restaurants and were very disappointed with The Palm. The food was gross.
Took 30 minutes to get water glasses filled and went downhill from there.
Christmas Eve
Service was not good...did not see our waiter until 15 minutes after being seated! Had to ask him to clear table between courses, not the Palms usual...
