We love the Palm! As usual, everything was excellent from the service to the food to the ambience. Jeff Kops was wonderful as always, and it was great to see him again. We look forward to dining at the Palm on our next trip here.
Ate outside on Thanksgiving. Pasquale was amazing and so spot on. He knew when to come by and when to give us some space to talk. Excellent food and enjoyable experience
Beautiful and delicious Thanksgiving lunch. Great service too. We’ll be back!
Consistently great cuisine, ambiance, and prompt service
Definitely on our repeat list.
Greeted when we walked in, sat at a great table. Waiter was right there, cocktails were perfect. Dinner was spectacular. Everything ordered was super, usually you will have at least one item that lacked, not this night.
The dinner was absolutely amazing and the service was outstanding! I had the 18 ounce New York strip steak with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. To say it was delicious is an understatement. We will definitely be going here again!
Everything was fabulous. Food, ambiance and wait staff!
The food was unseasoned and the steak was undercooked.
Everything excellent as usual. Please put chicken paillard AND CALORIE COUNTS back on the menu.
We ordered salads, which were unremarkable. Lettuce was wilted, tomatoes unripe and shrimp skimpy.
Service was pleasant but inattentive. The Palm has seen better days. Poor value given quality of meal. .
Their service and food quality were very good. Lobster experience must. Thanks again!
I've been going to The Palm restaurants since the 1960s in various cities, of course, beginning in New York. I've had several great meals with great service mixed in with some bad meals with bad service. Last night's experience was awful. The service was atrocious and the food was equally as bad. I left with a friend and we both agreed to finally give up on this establishment because there are many other places that deserve my hard-earned money. It's too bad because this used to be a favorite of mine. I'm done.
We had the most amazing time. Service and food were perfect!
Worst waiter I’ve had and all my experience at your amazing restaurant
Delicious food and welcoming management and waitstaff
Outdated and underwhelming
I have been to The Palm many, many times over the years. It had always been one of my favorite places to go. My last visit was in May of this year and everything was as good as always. This evening however was one of the worst experiences that I’ve ever had at any higher end restaurant. The service was slow (took forever for our meal to come out), The chopped salad was small and the lettuce was old and yellow. The chicken parmigiana was THE worst I’ve ever tasted - anywhere - and this was the dish I always have here. Management said that they changed the cheese used for the dish but that was the least of the problem. The chicken was dried out and as flat as a pancake (tasted like the bottom of my shoe) they also said that multiple people had returned the same dish to the kitchen. They also mentioned that there was new ownership – Perhaps that’s the problem. I can’t believe how one horrible evening could totally turn me off to one of my favorite restaurants. Management tried to make it right by taking off the cost of my food- which I expected. But honestly, I don’t think I’ll be going back - it was that bad.
The pandemic has paid its toll on Palm. The service, ambience, and food are all now mediocre.
Best Palm in the entire group, IMO. Recently ate at The Palm in another City- a pale imitation of my hometown Palm in BH. Always a great dining experience.
It was wonderful!!
Incredible Gastronomic Experience as always!!!
Service was as good as always when dining at the Palm, which is to say exceptional.
I am concerned that Landry’s ownership is leading to a lesser quality of food, however. Several items were served only slightly defrosted (the mozzarella in the caprese salad, which also has been removed from the menu; the seven layer chocolate cake was ice cold and hard to cut through; the crab legs were cooked but the outer shell was frozen solid; the lobster bisque, while warm, was clearly defrosted from a freezer). The bisque lack the usual creaminess and the peppercorn sauce lacked the usual punch.
I have been eating at the Palm for twenty years. This was my first visit since the family sold to Landry’s, so perhaps I am wrong. But several staple items (the caprese salad, the lobster bisque) are available but not on the menu in favor of other, non-standard Palm type fare (a bacon chunk appetizer; a penne pasta dish).
Landry’s would do well to leave everything intact on the menu and not try to homogenize the Palm to fit their other restaurants. The Palm has been around nearly one hundred years based on its own merits and does not need to have its long-time successful staple dishes mucked with.
A very, very good meal. Just as it usually is, here. Was here for lunch and the food was excellent and the service was too. It is good to see them riding high in the saddle, again.
We use to love the Restaruant. The new ownership has ruined the brand. The only plus was the staff and the service was wonderful.
Simply not the same anymore. Covid is not an excuse for so many mishaps. Food quality was sub par and disappointing. Many items were not edible. Ahi tuna was rancid, broccolini was bitter, bernaise sauce had separated and had cottage cheese texture. Bread was old and not oven fresh as always. Fries were hallow and cold. Filet mignon was tough and not cooked to regulated temperature. Manager was aware and very accommodating. Second bad experience in recent months. Sad to see this happen to one of my favorites.
Very disappointed this time around.
Service was really lacking-dirty plates sat unattended for lengthy periods, visits by the server less and less frequent as dinner went on.
Shouldn’t take 2 1/2 hours to have dinner on a Sunday night when the restaurant is 2/3 empty.
Lots of competition for high end places. This restaurant can and should do better.
Consistently outstanding cuisine and ambiance
Solid!! Is there a better way to describe The Palm. Jeff (the manager) does an amazing job and has a great team in place - and you don't feel like your eating at a "chain restaurant"
What was once a favorite restaurant is unfortunately a place I will not be returning. The food has really gone downhill! Sad
Delicious as always but prices have dramatically increased as they have everywhere.
Excellent service and food
Great service, even better food. We ate indoors and was quiet and felt safe. I would definitely recommend for small or large groups.
One of the Beat restaurants we have visited i
During our visit to LA
A far cry from old times
Excellent choices on the menu. Prices, but you know that going in. The quality and portions, though, are very good. Would like a choice of a smaller lobster, though🤩
They were out of both crab and lobster. At 6:00 pm.
We had been receiving emails to come to the restaurant for lobster deals. We’ve been going to the palm for 25 years. We went on the special night to go have lobster and steak, and when we got there at 8 o’clock at night there was no lobster, and he further explain that they wouldn’t have any lobster for another week! Extremely disappointing and just ruined the whole night. You know how it is, you go wanting something to a restaurant that specializes in lobster and then they don’t have it? Not good.
