Shiro has been named the Zagat Guide's number one restaurant and is consistently one of the highest rated establishments in the guide (#5 in 2011; #2 for service in 2013). Shiro is summed up by it's ingredients. Menu items are driven by the best available, nothing less is acceptable. For over 35 years, diners have enjoyed our French and Pacific Rim inspired menu. A tradition of fine dining with excellent, friendly service. We may supplement our menu with a special Taste of Shiro (soup or salad, meat or fish, dessert). Wed/Th. Our wait person, Patrick and his colleagues were attentive, professional and knowledgeable about the menu items. The butternut squash agnolotti melted in our mouth. The Mediterranean salmon with its crispy skin was delicious and tender. The shrimp penne with its light cream sauce was very tasty. The bread pudding dessert was too sweet but still good.

We had the most amazing evening at Gracias Madre last night. First the atmosphere was great. The interior decor had a airy vibe with simple but beautiful decor. The exterior area was lined with olive trees, had plenty of seating and heat lamps for the evenings cooler temperature. The service was great from the host to our server. The food...AMAZING! We started with the chips and salsa and ceviche. Both were fabulous. The ceviche used hearts of palms which was a great substitute for fish. The parsley just made everything explode in your mouth. Highly recommend both. For our entrees we had the Taco Trio (Mushroom, Jackfruit and Chipotle Barbacoa. All were terrific and the Enchiladas Verde. I highly recommend them both and can't wait to go back to try some new things.

Always my favorite restaurant to go to when I visit. Always top on my list and many of my friends also. Such a delicious meal every time. We had Dawn today and service was exceptional. From parking at the valet, to hostess greeting and seating to all those who came by our table were gracious and friendly. Took a new person with us for his belated birthday dinner I’ve been promising once I came to town. He said it totally exceeded his expectations by far. Love this place and will always be a customer!

Excellent dining experience! 5 star service, delicious food, beautiful decor, vibrant ambiance. This restaurant is unique as it is the perfect venue for a variety of dining experiences. Wonderful night out to celebrate a birthday! We started off with the seared scallops, which were sweet, tender yet slightly crispy from the sear. For mains, we chose a New York Wagyu & Ribeye Wagyu along with mushrooms & brussel sprouts. We also had the bordelaise & chimichurri sauces, but while also delicious, it wasn’t necessary with the meat. The sear and the slightest of char blended well with smokiness & saltiness as the only seasoning. At a medium rare, the meat was both tender & juicy. The sliver of fattiness on the edges also added that extra bit of beefy flavor. The sides were an afterthought, though very tasty! While we skipped their offered desserts from the menu, a birthday dessert was provided—an almond Paris Brest with cream. The cookie-like top was a nice contrast to the light cream filling, which wasn’t overly sweet. Even though we were full, we managed to polish off dessert as well! The overall experience left nothing to be desired until another larger table came to sit behind us, to which the volume rose considerably. By that time, we were already wrapping up the meal. Our high-backed chairs and the nearby booths provided some privacy & elevated the ambiance. Before we had finished our meal, we were already thinking of others we would like to share the experience with on our next visit!

A superb dining experience. The bronzing, broccolini, and potatoes were delicious. Poke tacos are unmatched. Our server , Nicole, was the best. So friendly and knowledgeable. One of the best ever!
