Although I’m not from Great Britain, the fish & chips were the best I’ve ever had! The fish was light and crispy and accompanied by a large basket of chips and mushy peas. Plenty of sauces as well as the good old standard, malt vinegar. Also had a delicious Scotch egg appetizer with a nice mustard/curry sauce. All the food was super fresh and hot - had to let it cool for a minute before we could even eat it. The portions were so large that my wife, daughter and I should have just split 2 orders rather than getting one for each of us! Would highly recommend this place and will definitely go back!!

Had to trip wait staff to get attention. All tables experienced this. Wait staff bussed their own tables which leads to this inefficiency

Food was good but didn’t make up for the super long wait (felt like we had been forgotten). They forgot a couple of items as well and took a while to finally bring them. We ended up skipping dessert as we couldn’t handle waiting on them anymore.

The staff waiting my table is a bit impatient and isn't too welcoming, which is not what I expect to see in this level of restaurant. The food is great, but I am not understanding the design of putting a fish on top of a bunch of fries. Like, how am I supposed to cut it? Or I may not be educated well enough to know that this is a norm. But overall it is a very very fine experience! 100% recommend anyway!
