                                                                                                          Booked a table for Sunday lunchtime for 3 people. When we were greeted there seemed surprise that a reservation had been made, but we were seated quickly. Menus didn't appear for a while, and then we were left quite a while before orders were taken (not even asked for a drink order in advance of food order). No one checked to see if we were ok at any point or asked if we wanted more drinks. The bill arrived without being asked for and we were not asked if we wanted desserts. Food was good - we all had pasta dishes and they were tasty. But service was poor.

                                                                                                          Really disappointed with the service. We were told we couldn’t have tap water by the first waiter who served us as it is ‘dirty’. We were so surprised but he insisted we had bottled water. For 9 people this was going to be a lot of bottles so we asked the waitress why we couldn’t have tap water and she apologized and said we could. This was so bizarre and I think the first waiter was trying to con us into buying expensive bottled water. The food was average with extremely small portions. We ordered lots of different items but the service was rude and acted like they didn’t want to be serving us. We were the only people in the restaurant most of the time but the service was still so slow. Basically just terrible service and we will not be returning.

                                                                                                          Unexpected gem in heart of Knightsbridge. We ordered the fixed menu of appetizers plus grilled meats. The hummus, babaghanouj, felafel and tabouli were fresh and perfectly prepared. The grilled chicken, grilled lamb, lamb chops and ground lamb were lean, smoky and juicy and the chicken and lamb shwarma, while not as memorable as the grilled meats were well above average. The upstairs seating is comfortable, clean and quiet.
