Great food, great service, great ambience!
Perfect food and the best customer service!!
My first time at the Ivy.
I loved the roses! it makes the restaurant look pretty.
Its a little bit expressive but well worth it! The food was great!
The service was great as well.
Overall exquisite, food is delicious. Who would have thought the chilaquiles would be so amazing! Server spoke fast and low toned hard to understand. Sat on the patio a little hot and humid during summer. Had a great time !!
It was like we were forgotten by the waiters, so long to be attended. I loved the welcome champagne .The food is ok, and the ambience is top, very pretty, very colorful. The valet service was great!
I had a great time. Thank you for the experience.
We used to go to Santa Monica Ivy but since they changed the service, we came to Beverly Hills one.
We loved the service and table we got outside and food!
Everything was perfect except the table next us was smoking vape and I am 32 weeks pregnant.
Loved this place!
Perfect meal for 3! It’s an experience from the moment you walk in with complimentary champagne. They pour your cocktails at your table which it very cool. We had 2 starters (Caesar salad and caprese) and split the seafood platter. It was all delightful.
It is quite expensive but service and food were amazing
Simply a great place to talk and eat.
That might have been one of the best meals and overall best dining experiences I've ever had.
Unfortunately I have been going to The Ivy for a long time and for the first time ever the waiter pointed out that there is a minimum per person which would be fine, not ideal because at a fine dining establishment and after several cocktails our total came out in excess of what the minimum should be.
When I pointed out the couple sitting next to us where the man was eating a main course but his guest had
The food service was subpar. Was not very friendly and had to ask for a straw four times. It was also very slow and curt. Did not feel very welcomed or appreciated. The food was above average. Supremely overpriced for what it was. However, the atmosphere was excellent. The one lady who worked there, who I asked where the bathrooms were, was incredibly accommodating. I am not inspired about returning. We had chosen the Ivy to celebrate a 25 year family reunion.
Took my son for a belated 21st Birthday treat. Remember you come here for the setting and maybe location.
Food was very good but there will be better restaurants. The service was outstanding and very respectful, not too pushy and given plenty of time to enjoy the meal
Will definitely come back and if you are in LA you should come here!!
Thanks everything is perfect and delicious
Excellent service and delicious food. I was just disappointed that we didn’t get the cookies at the end of our meal when the table next to us did.
Had an 8:00 reservation and was not taken to our table till 8:55. Waiter didn’t come to our table until I flagged another waiter to ask for drinks. I would call this a madhouse with workers running in all directions. The only thing worth the price of the meal is the ambiance!!
We love the Ivy but this time we found it different. The portions were very small and they were out of many things. It was my husbands birthday and they were out of cake????? The prices stayed the same
The Ivy makes me happy. The atmosphere is cozy and quaint whether you dine inside or out. The food is good, the service is incredible and it is a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal.
Food was disgusting - clearly it’s stylw over substance and they don’t think much about the quality of the menu. Our food was a mess on the plate and tasted as poor as it looked. The only plus was the free glass of champagne on arrrival but even that didnt make the absurdly high price feel like any less of a sting.
Always superb-which is why it’s our favorite place to eat, other than home.
I feel a bit rueful about this review. I remember The Ivy in its heyday...even recognized in the film GET SHORTY as a cool place with great food that could humor the odd celebrity. An expense account kinda place - great for a special occasion. I haven't been in a while.
The service is still excellent. We had a gracious welcome and, since our table wasn't ready, comp glasses of darned good champagne. The food, however, was generally a disappointment...and wildly over-priced. I had a fish 'n chips platter that was soggy and greasy. The pasta dish my dining companion had was flavorful but mushy. A grilled chicken breast was fine, but genuinely NOT worth forty bucks.
The dessert red velvet cake was good. It comes, like most of the desserts as far as I could tell, from another Ivy property - Dolce Isola - about two miles south of The Ivy on Robertson. It's fresher and cheaper there.
Many of the other guests seemed like non-residents who came because they read about The Ivy's fame. Maybe it's still OK for that kind of occasion. Otherwise, sadly, I'd say - "move on".
The food was great! The service was great! We made the reservation and were given seat right away. Definitely check out the restroom, it’s a surprise! We were debating to go The Ivy or Catch LA but we were happy we made the right choice! For sure we will come back again!!
I know it's The Ivy, I know it's Beverly Hills, but $35 for a basic breakfast is just a little much, particularly when you don't get your water glass filled or even a server coming by to check on you. Love the ambiance, liked the food, but for basic breakfast, I'll find something else.
Food was delicious and the resturant is so pretty. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive.
Grilled veggie salad is still the best! It is a great place to celebrate a birthday. The flowers are always beautiful and service is always spot on!
As always, the ivy is fabulous!
I always worry about eating on my own, but I knew I wanted to visit the ivy in Hollywood, so I just did it!
I pulled up to the valet parking after driving about for a bit trying to find somewhere... it was worth the $12 for less hassle.
I arrived early and they were able to take me right away. Friendly staff who were happy to accommodate.
A lovely glass of champagne on arrival and a choice of in or outside, i chose outside, it was a lovely sunny day, but that meant contending with the heat and the flies, water was supplied quickly and I asked for “something” to get rid of the flies and promptly a candle turned up and seemed to work!
I ordered the branzino (seabass) and it was delicious! The atmosphere was bubbly with lots going on but it never felt too much, and I didn’t feel rushed at all.
I decided to have a dessert, I had mentioned it was my birthday and when my red velvet cake arrived, well, I felt special! Big sparkler and it felt like a huge slice of cake (though I suspect this is the usual size) it’s made on site and was fluffy and delicious, though with the hot day the icing started melting cause I wasn’t eating it quickly enough!
The bill came and it was as expected for a restaurant with such a reputation, but with no service charge automatically added, so do remember and leave a tip.
Toilets were clean and well stocked. (Always a bug bear of mine when they don’t have a high standard there too)
The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and I didn’t feel out of place on my own. Would recommend for the experience...
Had an absolutely wonderful time! Upon arrival, we were greeted by the nicest staff who offered us complimentary glasses of champagne while preparing our table. The food was delightful and the ambiance was amazing as well. This is the cutest little restaurant! Definitely will go again.
We had a lovely meal at The Ivy. The soft shell crab appetizer was exceptional! The service, as always, was fantastic.
I always love our time at the Ivy. A few standard things were missing, customary scones and chocolate fudge with our birthday dessert. While minimal, we do look forward to them so I had to cut down one star. All in all, still one our favorite places.
Every time I visit LA Ivy’s is a MUST. The lobster rice is everything and the different bread they give you is the best. We where welcomed with a glass of cold champagne which made the waiting even shorter.
I really loved the ambiance of restaurant. I ate the margarita pizza for the first time at there and liked it so much. Thank you for every service member that work here passionately.
Went to The Ivy for my mother’s birthday and we had a wonderful time. We were greeted with complimentary champagne and a cordial crew. The food was delicious and the ambiance fit my mother’s criteria. Would highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family
Loved it! Celebrate my mother’s birthday! She really enjoyed it.
As pretentious as Beverly Hills can get. Our server, a white dude with an Afro was extremely rude and inattentive. He ignored many numerous requests for condiments, and was just absolutely annoyed with all the guests he had.
It’s the type of restaurant where tourists and lots of people with plastic surgery would go. Avoid at all costs!
great service, will make you feel like a star... when we come to LA that is out main hang out for brunch
