To our Ivy family,
We are open for indoor and outdoor dining and hope to see you soon!
All the best!
Went for brunch for my daughter’s birthday! Other than the tight space and loud ambiance this was a perfect brunch! Food was amazing and service was great. Robin was an amazing server! Definitely can’t wait to go back!
Amazing food menu but I think it’s over priced than some of the luxury hotels .
Everything was ala carte - and individually price esp for the sides - inbelieveably pricy ..
This is my second review in a month. The reason being is that I have seen some negative reviews in the past and I have never had a negative experience at the Ivy I just needed to reiterate how great it is. I wanted to say again that all of the staff is so accommodating, so friendly, so excited to see you. Can’t believe anyone has ever experienced anything different. The great cocktails and brunch menu and the complimentary scones served in an environment of just super cute flowers and lights and great decor… this place is always a hit for me.
Hands down my favorite local restaurant.
Crab cake is so bad
Oyster smell is not good
One of the best restaurants in the world period.
Good table, very good food,, terrific ambiance, high prices
Always charming plus excellent eggs Benedict!
My third time there….. it never disappoints! Went to celebrate my daughters 16th bday. The food and service was great. Highly recommend the restaurant!
I have been going to the Ivy for yrs When I made the res it was for outside they tried to seat us inside I felt the Host was not professional They did seat me outside but I really think they need a more professional host or hostess. Food was Good not Great Server was excellent,
One of my favorite spots for outdoor dining (lunch, dinner, or weekend brunch) when I am in LA. It has a diverse menu with large portions and great cocktails. There is always plenty of friendly staff around who provide attentive service.
The place is beautiful as always, an icon.
The food is pretty standard especially when you pay close to 60 bucks for a New York steak and it’s something they bought at Costco.
The problem here is that going back to the menu my bill should have been closer to $100 and I ended up paying 150,
I was sent the bill from the restaurant manager to review… guess we can call it… the house of the $7 dollar expresso
Celebrated a reunion with friends and a birthday and The Ivy was the perfect place. Service was impeccable and the food was delicious. Had the chips and guacamole as an appetizer and the hot seafood platter as an entrée. Loved the ambience and energy. Our server, John, couldn’t have made the experience any better. We’ll be back on our next LA visit.
It was lovely & service was impeccable.
Food was delicious, specially that chef created an old favorite per our request
The servers were very attentive and nice. Food was good.
I love the Ivy but had to wait nearly 30 minutes for our table. That is unacceptable, particularly at lunch.
I love The Ivy- and I try to be more relaxed during these challenging times but today was my worst experience in 20 years.
I had the skillet calamari and it was good- the sea bass tasted like water - no taste
The scones are delicious! The softshell crab was so good. Lobster pasta, amazing as was the cold seafood plate for one. There was some confusion about the availability of a certain size lobster, but it was worked out in the end. The atomosphere can be chaotic at times - tons of servers running around and anybody who wants to 'be seen' is waiting for a table. There was one incident of a sports car that insisted on being parked up front, repeatedly revving their engine and overwhelming the entire outdoor patio area with the smell of gas fumes. Valets should have insisted on having the individual move rather than disturbing the patrons trying to enjoy their meal with the smells coming out of his exhaust. There was actual clapping after the guy finally took off. All in all, this place is an institution and a must try if you are in the area.
Great food and service!
Service was exceptional, ambiance is great, a lot of flies but expected since its outdoors, sea bass & enchiladas were very bland but French toast & drinks were good.
I have been to the I y probably 30+ times over the years. Unfortunately the restaurant is not what it used to be. Portions much smaller, service questionable at best, quality of food subpar and to be honest there is no chance our Sea Bass last night was even Sea Bass. The presentations of both entrees and appetizers looked like a quick serve presentation. I don’t know if it is due to Covid or what, but the ambiance no longer can account for everything else.
So much fun. It was beautiful. The wait staff was amazing.
LA hot spot but very busy
Such an eclectic place and the service and food is second to none!
The food was not great, service was slow, too close to other tables, way too many flies outside. The pricing does not match the quality of the food. Do not order- veggie tacos, lobster pizza, Caesar salad or crab cakes. Guac and chips were good.
Always wonderful! We all remarked that we would eat any dish on the menu! The Ivy menu offers the ‘best of’ American, Italian and Mexican classic dishes that are as delicious today as they were ten years ago….not an easy feat for a restaurant!! The desserts are all outstanding, especially the coconut layer cake and the Ivy Sundae. The setting is beautiful including the lovely place settings. Service is professional yet friendly. Too bad there are few restaurants like the Ivy today.
When I here LA , every time go to Ivy
Good food and good service
Thank you for hospitality, IVY Family
Usually this is my favorite spot to treat my mom however this time I took my dad and he was beyond impressed by the restaurant. Everything from the ambiance, food, incredible service from all staff members down to the fresh flowers. He hasn’t stopped talking about what an amazing time he had at The Ivy!
My girlfriend and I had made a day of coming to LA to see the Van Gogh Immersive show… and then on to the Ivy for her Birthday dinner. It was a beautiful night. We sat outside.
The food was delicious and our waiter was great!
Always a treat dining at the Ivy!
Amazing time. Great vibes. Will be back very soon!
Nice service !
Have always loved the ambiance! We sat outside and celebrated a special birthday. It was a beautiful night and the food, service and surrounds were lovely!
Lovely patio and indoor dining room. Decor of fresh multicolored roses is signature. Service a tad inattentive at the beginning of our meal. The sea bass was good but overpriced for what it was. Prefer this place for lunch - this was first dinner experience. Ended up being ok for celebrating my friend’s bday. They do a lovely sparkler candle celebration. The decor is dated with the multi
Colored Christmas lights. Maybe time to replace those with white lights?
The Ivy never disappoints..the grilled Vegetable salad is the best
A wonderful experience as usual at The Ivy. Beautiful setting, outstanding food and top notch service. Highly recommend.
Absolutely divine experience! The crab cakes, wine list, lobster ravioli ….. and you must partake of the red velvet cake - it’s simply the best! The service is also unparalleled and no detail is left to the side. Amazing experience! I can’t wait until we come back next month! Thank you!
always a fun time at the Ivy great service and amazing atmosphere
The food was poor. My crab cakes were very over fried so not soft in the middle. The server would have kindly taken them back but I didn’t want to bother him. My Caesar salad lettuce was not crisp. Wine was fine, the server was nice and gave a generous pour but glass killed the bottle and the wine had started to oxidase. Room was lovely. Other customers were happy and lively.
One of the best restaurants I’ve been! The food is amazing and the deco is so cute! Expensive but worst it
