Food was great, service was decent. We had the shrimp tacos (So good, especially the tortillas), hamburger (the husband liked) and crab cakes (delicious). Bon apetit!

Waiter was rude, trying to rush us and overall a jerk. Poor service is a trend here as the last 3 visits netted the same results. Food was phenomenal as always.

Birthday! And they went all out with firework candle. Red velvet cake. Ice cream and fudge. And caramel graham cookie. We order the hot seafood plate for two. It was incredible.

Wonderful service and amazing food. Went on Valentine’s Day for dinner. Even with the crowd and extra work that comes with that holiday we were treated like the only people there. Loved the food and the selection. I was moving my daughter into her college apartment and flying back the next morning. It was a great way to celebrate together. A top notch experience we will always remember! Thanks!

We arrived directly from shopping, 1 hour early at 6:30.
They were so accommodating and seated us right away!
Wonderful for Valentine’s Day...all those roses!!!
Enjoyed the Caesar salad and the Sea Bass.
The most amazing desserts.
Warm pecan square with gelato and chocolate sauce...perfection.
Such a special place!!!

Although it was Valentine's Day and fully booked, we were able to order off the regular menu, the food was delicious, and the service was great! The complimentary glass of champagne added a festive touch and was a nice way to start. Both the crab stuffed lobster and fish and chips (which included cod, scallops, shrimp, potato and onion rings all fried) were perfect!

One of my favorite restaurants for lunch/brunch or a daytime special occasion and popular Beverly Hills spot. I’ve been there at night and the ambiance isn’t as great. My only negative feedback is with service. Servers don’t provide a genuine service when it comes to recommendations and this has been the case every time I go. “What’s the best thing on the menu?” The two most expensive. “What bottle of wine you suggest with my food?” Obviously the most expensive. “Ordering a Margarita?” Well, it goes great with Don Julio 1942 even if mixed with lemon and a chaser. Nothing wrong with upselling, but sometimes you expect some “insider information” regarding a hidden gem on the menu.

The Ivy is a wonderful experience with interesting table settings in various areas with hundreds of beautiful multi-color roses. It is always busy, so I believe that is why the service is a bit slow, but it is accurate. Great food!

The reservation time was honored immediately--5 minute wait! (excellent!) The service was terrible--asked for bread plate 3 times before it arrived. My fish entree and that of our guest were sent back. Fish was not fresh. Crab claws were delicious, but it was he smallest appetizer portion I have ever seen. Also--whoever cracked them open did not do a very good job, since there were tiny bits of shell in almost every bite. Dessert was very good. All in all, I would not go back and would not recommend it to anyone, even though it is one of the most upscale and popular restaurants in Los Angeles. It is not worth the money one bit! Not enjoyable--sending entrees back and biting into shells! My husband and I have been there many times-- but now we are very disappointed and disolusioned with The Ivy!

Got seated 30 minutes before our reservation which was great. The wait staff was plentiful, but didn't see the need for it. Not many people waiting to be seated. Anyway, that's fine.
Once seated we got the menu which was had a good variety of food. Wine and food was very overpriced compared to what we got. I have no idea why this place is so popular. Must be tradition. Not a bad place, but not great either. Just another LA restaurant that's pretty. For the price there are WAY better places in LA.

Great service, overprisede food. But you pay to be at this place because IT is a Hot Spot now. My daughter GOT IT reccomrnded. I t was important for her to visit on our trip to LA.
Great server from England, the other severs were also very friendly. This makes an overcrowded restaurant nice and friendly. The music out of the speakers should in my opinion been turned off. But then again I am 54 and "hate all that music" when trying to hear what my daughter is telling me.

The Ivy on Robertson is a classic in Los Angeles that can't be beat for a fabulous lunch or dinner. The beautiful roses everywhere and the lovely patio is fabulous. Even the breakfast is spectacular, including the crab cakes Eggs Benedict. The complimentary glass of Champagne when you enter is a nice touch. Food is always exceptional. My only complaint is the piped in music on the speakers outside was very loud during my last lunch, which is not usual. A must try.

Dining at the Ivy was a very unique dining experience. It’s located in a very upscale area of Los Angeles and is known for celebrity sightings (although we didn’t see any). When we arrived, before we were seated we were offered a free glass of champagne (even though we ddn’t have to wait very long to be seated). We were seated outside and the weather was lovely. The inside seemed pretty crowded (It looked like a renovated house). There were fresh flowers on every table and everywhere in the restaurant. And I’ve never seen so many servers! It seemed like there were as many servers as there were customers. I guess that’s why the service was so great. We had several servers and they were all excellent. I ordered another glass of champagne and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. When I poured a little of the orange juice in my champagne (to make a mimosa), the glass overflowed and made a mess on our table. A server came over immediately, quickly cleaned up, and refilled my champagne glass (which I appreciated since the champagne was $24 a glass and the orange juice was $7.75)!

The food was excellent! I had the Crab Cake Benedict (hollandaise on the side) and sautéed spinach. It was outstanding. My husband and stepdaughter enjoyed their entrees as well. They had key lime pie for dessert and it was also a big hit.

When I went to the restroom, there was an attendant standing outside the 2 restroom doors. As each person came out, she went in to clean the toilet and spray the room (after each person used it)! That was a first for me.

We were given complimentary chocolate chip cookies in a lovely carryout bag before we left.

Overall, I enjoyed The Ivy. It’s way too expensive but worth it for special occasions.

It was a birthday lunch which was fabulous.

We always enjoy the service and ambience at the Ivy.

However, the Lobster Cobb salad, which is delicious, seems to have become a smaller portion. That was the only disappointment.

The staff were Great.

Visited LA for the day so thought we’d book somewhere nice for lunch.
We were not disappointed, food was delicious and so fresh.
Complimentary bubbles whilst we waited for our table was a lovely touch too!
Finding a parking spot was hard but valet parking we realised was only $10 :)
Will definetly be back!!
