Very nice place, I've came a few times and some waiters make us feel rushed to order and seems like they don't really like being bothered when asked to take a photo
Our favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. The food was so good
ALWAYS LOVELY, CHARMING, AND GOOD, GOOD FOOD! THE STAFF ARE ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS, TOO!
Beautiful scene. Great food. Wonderful service
Food timely. Food very good. Staff too scattered. A frenetic energy, not good. Breakfast brunch best. Dinner not calm enough. Not high touch.
Due to Covid the seating is all outside, of course but we were seated in front of the store next to it on the street. There was no ambience down there.
Took a little longer than expected to get seated with a reservation
There were a lot of people waiting but because we had a reservation, we walked right up and got seated right away. Amazing food and great people watching!
Always and consistently the best brunch in town. We go out of our way to have lunch there when we are in town. We would normally valet but we decided to park in the garage across the street. We were greeted and had our table in no time. We also take our 1lb of chocolate chop cookies to go for our drive back. The service is outstanding!!
I enjoy the Ivy brunch however the dinner menu was a bit lackluster. Beautiful ambiance!
Horrible customer service and ambiance, over hyped, over priced, over worked staff, skip this place unless you want to be eating outside noisy Robertson BLVD sitting between a bunch of flies.
Overpriced, poor attitude, would definitely not return.
Shared the calamari and grilled vegetable salad and ordered the lobster ravioli as the main- truly outstanding.
Meh. I’ve eaten here many times before (pre-Covid) and was excited to take my daughter there for her 18th birthday. But everything was mediocre at best. Due to covid, the expanded seating onto the sidewalks - no barrier between us and cars. Felt like we were being rushed to order. One waiter was attentive, the rest zipped by and ignored requests - wine list was thrown at me and they walked away as I was ordering. Food was mediocre. They ignored that it was a birthday. It was disappointing and sad, but expensive.
Secretly celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary
Beautiful patio! The food and drinks were amazing. Perfect for a girls brunch.
Always a great vibe and the service is always above and beyond
Amazing place !! Love it here! Great food! Service, atmosphere!
Need the champagne back
Outdoor dining has completely revived The Ivy. The ambiance of the adorable house on Robertson has been transported to their large patio, decorated in multicolored lights and bouquets of roses. The food is as solid as ever and remains pricey, but the place has a feel of “normal” LA dining and is experiencing a much deserved new buzz. Wonderful night.
I've been eating at The Ivy since the mid-eighties and have friends who insist on returning for birthday dinners and special events. The wait staff still have the same bad attitude even though the experience is really, really sub-par during Covid. Three of our party of four arrived on Tuesday evening at the exact time of our reservation. One of our party had been sent away because she arrived 5 minutes early. They refused to seat us until everyone in our party was there - even though the birthday "girl" at 77 years of age, can barely stand and of course no seat was offered. The restaurant (as is) was less than 30% full and the staff maintain that these are the owner's rules. What a terrible way to treat paying customers. The food has been slipping for years and now the menu is VERY limited because of COVID - though the prices are the same. Wouldn't you think they would go out of their way to try to be pleasant and to seat an older and infirm customer? The Ivy is just not what it used to be. Plus you still have to listen to the ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE Steely Dan covers blasting over the poor quality loudspeakers. This is one place that should close. Sorry, but it's true ...
It took 45 minutes to get my drink.
I asked 3 times for it to finally come.
The Ivy is iconic. The menu is a greatest hit list with something for everyone. The wine list is solid. The service is delightful and attentive, but not refined. Commonly courses are served on top of one another which is bush league, but otherwise service is afoot. And then there is the ambiance, wow! A gem in our city!
The food was good but they don’t give champagne anymore and they sat us by the street. It was not the experience I wanted.
Always an amazing dining experience. Five star cuisine, five star service in a casual but elegant environment.
Fabulous! We sat in the courtyard and the only thing that kept me from leaving a 5 star review was the fact that the flies were so terrible. We had to keep fanning our food and drinks but other than that it was an amazing visit as usual!
Fabulous afternoon out. Beautiful setting. Loved the colorful flowers on our table and the bright crockery. Very good service, and food was wonderful. Will look forward to returning soon for a special occasion.
I love coming here. BEST LOBSTER RAVIOLI EVER! & the drinks are the cherry on top. Definitely one of my fav. restaurants.
I went to ivy for my bday brunch everything was great ... drinks and food delicious
This is a Beverly Hills landmark. A rite of passage even. Gorgeous ambiance and lovely service.
Worse service ever. Rude waiter, our drinks arrived after our dinner. We requested talk to the manager, which one never came to our table. Worse experience ever
The food was extraordinary. Each dish was better than the next. The cocktails had robust flavor. The ambiance was intimate and engaging. Unfortunately, our waiter seemed preoccupied and wasn’t making eye contact with us as he was rattling off the dinner specials and he didn’t come to check on us after the starters and cocktails were delivered. The support staff were better but it was a noticeable flaw considering the quality of all other aforementioned aspects. Overall I would still recommend
As always, the ambience enhances the dining experience. Fresh colorful roses everywhere.
This is a special place, intimate and lovely.
Waiters are awesome, fast, and outgoing. Overall great service.
It was wonderful! Great service, food and ambiance! Lived up to expectations!
Mr. Green and I have been coming every week for lunch. Our table was very far away, and our waiter seemed to take a bit longer than normal. Jorge, the gentleman who served our water and bread was fantastic and very attentive.
Yesterday (October 5th) was not our favorite
day to dine.
weekend brunch at the Ivy is a must.
Food is 5/5
Awesome atmosphere, service, and food. We ordered the breakfast pizza and the crab benedict which I will definitely be returning for!
