The Harrods Tea Rooms
Wonderful place for special occasion enjoying the luxurious ambiance and service.
Perfect time for your afternoon! Everybody have to come.
Went here as a present to myself and my sister from our parents. We really loved the experience and the food was amazing.
Our waiter Aiden was lovely and made us feel at ease which was lovely.
Great atmosphere and tons of food!
The food was amazing and there was more than enough of it, the staff were attentive and helpful at all times, it was a bit pricey but you expect that at Harrods, we got a complimentary cake as it was my nans birthday along with a card which really made my nans day.
Great experience we would definAtly go again for a birthday treat
Didn’t feel there was much value for money..also whilst there we left a pair of glasses, tried several times on the following day to call yet NO ONE was answering the phone so still unsure if you have my glasses..
Absolutely divine. A highlight of Our time in London. The service was exceptional. We love the pianist. Highly recommend
Service poor probably due to change of staff and no handover.
It was beautiful and the piano was great, food was amazing; but waiters ignored you and just stood around talking to eachother. They were out of SIX teas?? And we had the earliest seating! Imagine going later in the day. Great food but should have better service for $75 a person.
Delicious food , very helpful service in a pleasant atmosphere . A little expensive but worth it for a special occasion
the worst service EVER for the amount it cost I'm really disappointed
Took parents for 70th birthday. Really disappointing. Waited 1hr for some dry sandwiches. It’s a set menu so they know what everyone is having. Service was poor. No proper vegetarian menu. Loud claustrophobic atmosphere. Too hot and.l no natural light. Slow service. Over priced. Have had fantastic afternoon tea elsewhere. Would not recommend Harrods.
Lovely treat for my husbands birthday, staff were attentive and couldn’t do enough. Food excellent and plenty of it.
Food good, service good but it’s overpriced given the setting and ambience. You are basically sat in a lobby with people walking through, its very noisy and the toilets are miles away and used by shoppers etc. Plus there is a queue of people watching you as you eat. For £59 with no alcohol you are better booking somewhere really nice like the Savoy. We had a nice time but wouldn’t go back or recommend.
The service was really slow. We had to wait ages to even get our drinks. Another table that arrived after us got their food first. The sandwich selection was not very nice. The coronation chicken should be taken off the menu. The desserts were also lacking flavour. The vegetarian option was by far the best choice.
Good overall experience at iconic Harrods
I disclosed my nut allergy to the server and received food with nuts which resulted in a severe allergic reaction. The server didn’t seem to care and did not notify the manager, I had to tell her what happened and then it took a prolonged period of time for them to remove my food from the bill since the only thing I ate almost killed me. Overall very disappointed in the lack of care and attention to what is becoming a common issue, especially from a premium establishment such as Harrod’s.
Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, the service was friendly and attentive, had a lovely afternoon, would recommend
Super delicious sandwiches and delicious desserts, which were tasty without being too sweet and sickly. Excellent service. Loved the piano playing. Have recommended it to my friends.
Staff is usually an asset, and at The Harrods Tea Rooms they proved to be the stars of the show. We were also fascinated by the live piano in the background which was soothing and not too loud. We also had a child who enjoyed the experience and what was in offer in the Children's menu - she did not get bored. Overall, we had a very pleasant afternoon.
Very poor service provided by staff who preferred to chat at their waiting stations than serve their guests. There was an exception to this, a helpful and efficient young man with fairish hair.
My quiche had a great deal of unpleasant fat in it and the very meagre salad had no dressing, nor was I offered any.
My friend's first glass of champagne was flat and the bar staff must have realised this upon pouring it but they still served it.
The restaurant manager did make amends by offering a courtesy glass of champagne and a selection of desserts which we appreciated.
Bring back the old Georgian Restaurant please and clear out some of the lazy female staff.
The food is top quality. Staff a little absent and our waiter left to go home without anyone notifying us.
Overall the atmosphere is beautiful and will definitely revisit.
Food very nice, had to ask for waiter a couple of times and it took I long time for home to come. Piano man played very loud, wasnt very gentle music, more heavy music played. Asked for butter to go on scones and never got any.
Went here with family for my birthday. Service, food and ambiance was absolutely amazing. The level of service I received was mind blowing. Even got a personalised birthday card!
It was simply wonderful, relaxing and endless food!
Overall; it was a great experience. The atmosphere is lovely. There was a guy playing piano.
The price is high, one afternoon tea is £59.
Will definitely visit the restaurant again for special occasion.
Our experience was wonderful from beginning to end.
Wonderful time! Great tea, champagne, food, service :)
I found the service was slow and unpersonal. It wasn’t what I was expecting. But the food was nice.
A lovely experience. Very relaxing with most attentive staff and delicious food.
Lovely room and helpful waiting staff. Approx time normally one and a half hours but we were there for 2 hours and were not rushed at all perhaps because we had a later reservation. The ambiance was greatly helped by the piano player. The selection of teas was excellent.
A few things would have improved the experience; the sandwiches while tasty were a little dry on the edges from being prepared in advance, some trellis or partitioning would enhance the feeling of intimacy which was lacking due to being in full view of people waiting to be seated or making enquiries at the desk.
All in all an enjoyable experience.
Absolutely fabulous. Excellent service, excellent food and drink and an excellent time had by all. Thank you!
Lovely atmosphere, nice food, friendly staff.
Could improve with tea menu and also serve better sandwiches
A little pricey but the sandwiches are, essentially, all you can eat and the scones were fantastic.
Good treat but wouldn't frequent it.
We have visited the tea room for over 5 years where it was first called the Georgian. The New Year’s Day visit was terrible. The service was extremely slow, and required prompting.
Always exceptional service and excellent food - nothing ever too much trouble - always a pleasure to eat there
Food was good. Service would have been 5 star except waiter forgot our drinks and we received them much later during our tea sitting.
What a wonderful experience! It was a great way for my wife and I to have a relaxing and delicious afternoon tea during our trip to London.
Lovely experience. Second visit. Very busy day for them NYE thought they coped very well.
