   Food was pretty reasonable, but maybe didn’t live up to the hype. Some things to improve: the team wanted to clean our table before we’d finished our starters because the mains were ready. We were in full view of the kitchen and it wasn’t busy, it could have been more attentive to time our mains until after we’d digested our starter. Lots of other small things could have improved the attentiveness, especially given it wasn’t busy. Thank you to the team nonetheless

   4th visit. Never disappoints. Will come again and again and love fact they regularly change menu

   The Brave has amazing food and creative but classy cocktails. The beef shin was delicious

   The set lunch is fantastic value and very tasty. Will be back to try the rest of the menu soon.

   I was here with a party of 6 people and everybody rated this place very highly. Lovely food, lovely wine and very helppful, polite service. We had 2 of each of the small plates and then 3 of the large plates. Plus a few sides, followed by 3 of the sweets to share. This is quality at a good price, long may it continue.

   We went for a Sunday roast and it was outstanding. Comparable to the Harwood Arms. Such a great addition to the local area. The bar area is nice too

   Service was not great. Food overpriced. We went for mother's day and were underwhelmed

   Really enjoyed Sunday Lunch at the Brave. Super tasty food and attentive service. Will definitely go again.

    Brilliant place, we both really enjoyed the food, really nicely prepared and presented, tasted amazing, braised beef shin was my top pick with the gnocchi a close second!
