   Always a terrific meal at Tamayo. Chips and guacamole followed by tortilla soup hit the spot.

   We love Tamayo because of the food, service, location, and easy parking. It's a great place to go when you are doing other activities downtown, like going to a game at Ball Arena. We are vegetarians and they have enough options to make it worthwhile--and what they do have is excellent and interesting.

   Sat brunch before DCPA performance. Small plates shared at the table. Opted for endless food - not endless drinks. Took them forever to make two cappuccinos - even tho it was brunch. All the savory options we chose were excellent EXCEPT the bacon. It was like salt sticks overcooked and powdery to the palate. Seriously, Tamayo - one of the most unctuous things to have at breakfast and versatile prep options - like baked with a little brown sugar and ancho powder until almost crisp. As for the only sweet option which was supposed to be a tres leche cake - instead it was a pie shaped wedge of some kind of dense doughy, cold, like apple cake thingy that you couldn’t cut through with a fork. Very loud. Had reservations - but they sat us at the table right by the front door on a 23degree, snowy day. After sitting in a car for an hour and walking from DCPA - I was like a popsicle. I asked to be moved but was refused - then my husband insisted and voila - they moved us. Used to be a fav place to eat. I would not go brunch again.

   Lunch on Saturday-Sunday is brunch only. I don’t know if there was a different menu from the usual fare or not. Portions were small and a la carte. Taste was average. Restaurant is very noisy. Can’t imagine what it’s like during dinner.

   A lovely evening was shared here with friends before heading to the DCPA. We were greeted by a friendly host and our server was lovely. The food was delicious, as were the specialty drinks. We will be back for sure! Thank you to all the staff!!

   What a disappointment our brunch was. We had not dined at Tamayo for several years and were looking forward to our meal as it was a favorite in the past. The food was very good, but the experience overall was just okay. It was very loud and the service was inattentive and sporadic. In fairness, it was very busy with football fans dining before heading to Mile High. But, we're not sure we will return any time soon to Tamayo.
