                                                                    One of the worst dining experiences in a long time. Went for dinner with a friend. Food was mediocre… special tuna ceviche was very fishy tasting, worried about getting sick but ok so far. The bone marrow had very little classic taste, overwhelmed it with sauces and pickled vegetables. The shrimp and crab enchiladas put cold in the middle. New plate came out with stuffing about 1/2 the size as first. Service was incredibly poor. Wanted to like it, but will never go back.

                                                                    Food was fresh and high quality but when booking for Saturday online was not notified (no pop-up message) bottomless brunch menu was only option. In addition, part of the table wanted Cadillac margaritas vs traditional and were charged full price vs adding cost of orange liqueur, which felt off in receiving final bill as this was not shared when ordered. With this said, management adjusted in making things right but took some conversation to make it so. Atmosphere is nice but was extremely loud when restaurant is full and hard to have table-side conversations.

                                                                    I have been a customer for about a year, always have had the bottomless brunch. I was excited to try the new menu but left disappointed overall. The chips and salsa were beautifully presented but the habanero salsa was thick, almost pasty and had a peculiar after taste. The tacos were also disappointing, the Mahi Mahi was forgettable but the jackfruit was good. The enchilada was a bunch of sautéed onion with a ok sauce. Overall it seems as though the changes were geared toward presentation, not a better meal. The meal was forgettable and didn't feel worth the increased price. A lot of style, not a whole lot of substance.

                                                                    The food at Tamayo is always delicious. However, I do miss the old bottomless brunch menu. The new one is not as robust in offerings or taste. It is good, but the other one was excellent and by far felt like you were getting your money’s worth. Also, the new decor offers an enhanced dining experience.
