We always LOVE coming to Ignite! The food is delicious, the drinks are great, and the staff is always friendly! I highly recommend trying their truffle fries! We love coming to trivia night on Wednesday’s, it’s always a fun time and the all day happy hour can’t be beat!!
Thank you so much for the great review...Thanks for being the best part of Ignite! Soon, trivia will be happening on our rooftop!
We arrived promptly at 7pm in time for our reservation and was seated immediately at our reserved table in the corner. We sat for 17 minutes before even being acknowledged by the wait staff that we were even there (I know this is not standard practice or appropriate for any restaurant). After we finally had a server, we quickly ordered our drinks and food as we had to leave before 8. Our food took an additional 15 minutes (~12 minutes is restaurant standard for dinner service). My drink was extremely watered down and I had to ask for a replacement drink as the ginger beer was out and the server didn’t notice and served me lightly ginger beers flavored water. The food tasted great, but we had to wait a few extra minutes to even get silverware. By the time we paid our check at 7:50, that was he first half hearted apology we received with the explanation of “its not normally like this and we just got slammed last minute.” There was trivia night going on, which was distracting from the experience and while the restaurant WAS pretty full, a friendly acknowledgement and consistent check ins as well as predicting the needs of each table is imperative as a server. Overall, with the time and money spent on this experience, it was quite an underwhelming experience for a first time visit. Not a good first impression.
Food and drinks were good but service was extremely slow. They appeared to be short staffed on a Saturday night. Took nearly 30 minutes to get our first drinks after we ordered them.
We went for the restaurant week deal and feel like it we got great value. The apps came in half-sizes, but the pimento fritters and candied bacon were the best dishes of the night. The burgers were loaded and very good, but felt more like a greasy, step-up-from-divebar burger than a "gourmet burger" that Ignite is supposedly known for. Unfortunately, service was incredibly slow, in addition to our server showing little hospitality. We had a good meal for the evening, but in Denver's crowded restaurant market, we didn't find a compelling reason to revisit in the future.
Overwhelmed waitstaff. Food was enjoyable. Took 30 minutes to get beer. Selected Restaurant Week option and dessert was 1 hr 20 minutes after arrival. Table next to us was just as slow.
Came for Restaurant Week and the fopd was delicious. Our server Dane was friendly also. My girlfriend really enjoyed the candied bacon and my favorite dish was my cheese fritters. I'll come back again and again!
A few friends and I went for a girls night during Denver Restaurant Week. The whole menu looked delicious. I had the pimento cheese bites (YUM) and the fried chicken burger which was so much better than I even expected it to be. I'd definitely recommend the smores brownie for dessert, as well as the caramel pretzel milkshake.
Terrible service. Really bummed because I had heard good things.
We came for the Denver Restaurant Week menu and were sorely disappointed. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. Honestly, it seemed like a bar that was trying to be a restaurant. Our server was a total hot mess and made about 4 mistakes with our food (there were 6 of us and the Denver Restaurant Week menu gave 3 courses each), we had to ask for water refills, and he overcharged our friends on the bill. When they pointed it out, the server said he'd fix it, which he did...by adding it to our bill instead, without telling us. It was still an overcharge, but after correcting the guy so many times, we just paid it. The whole experience wasn't good and we won't be back, but I truly believe that I would have been happier overall if the service had been much better. So maybe this was just a fluke.
The Lobster Mac and Cheese was good but certainly not memorable. Overall experience was good, but I would list as average.
Restaurant week was not advertised here we had to ask
Ignite is always good. Their Brussels sprouts, mancandy and green chili chicken Mac and cheese never disappoint. We were a group of 8 for New Year’s Eve and everything went great. Service was quick and all dinners came out at the same time which was impressive.
Good Korean chicken, Pb & JJ, Colorado Sliders, but would have liked to be able to make substitutions. Needed fries to come with it. Brussel sprouts were very tasty. In the winter, don't sit close to the doors, it was freezing!
Had a great time with my wife and our friend to celebrate their birthdays!
Service and food were terrific.
My wife and friend had been to Ignite before but it was my first time - I will definitely return.
Great general manager and our server Leao was fantastic.
The menu is amazing, I will be going back to try some of the more daring options!!
The restaurant was empty. The service was great. Our server was very attentive. The food is pretty heavy. The Ahi Poke Bowl was warm and not very appetizing.
Our food was absolutely amazing, we had the fish and carne asada tacos with the elote corn and the whole meal was great. There was a lot of meat in the tacos and the seasoning was on point. We also had the chili Mac and that was just as tasty! We would order the same meal again
Lauren was our server and she was attentive and genuinely kind!
Nice server, great recommendations, fun for brunch!
We had a great time - everyone enjoyed their food and drink! Love that manager with the flair for casual dress that says, "I'm the boss, and I'm fun!"
Delicious food. Great new find.
It was surprisingly slow for a ballpark bar/restaurant. The service was attentive at first and then tailed off. Oddly, the place never had more than 5 or 6 tables going. The food was REALLY good for bar food. Too bad it was low energy, empty and slow service based on the volume of customers. We've been before and it was packed and fun, not sure what happened this time around.
Laya was our bar tender and so much fun will definitely go back!
Friendly staff and a pretty decent selection of drinks. Not terribly crowded during Saturday brunch time and we found parking easily.
We have enjoyed coming to your restaurant many times in the past which is why we chose this restaurant for our bachelor/bachelorette party. The food was okay and our waitress left much to be desired! It took her 20 minutes just to bring water and several more to bring our first round of drinks. We had to summon her numerous times just for water refills and in the hour and a half we were there she only checked on us once to see if we needed anything. It was a bit frustrating to pay the $275 bill plus a $50+ tip for terrible service. The view was incredible and our host was super sweet getting us to the rooftop so that we appreciated very much!
Food is always good. We sat out on the patio downstairs and the service was fairly sparse. It wasn't very busy but I think they just paid more attention to the patrons indoor or rooftop.
I made a reservation and let the person who took it that it was my mom's 80th birthday, however no recognition was given while we were there. The food was ok, nothing special. I tried several of their specialty tacos and only 1 of 3 was notable - the bbq. The fish taco was totally overrun by the spicy orange sauce they put on it which negated tasting anything else. The scallop taco was ok but was barely warm by the time it made it to the table. The others in my party had burgers which they weren't particularly impressed with. The staff raved about their specialty corn on the cob but it was just corn on the cob with a couple of different sauces sprinkled on it. OK overall.
Have been here before and remember it very good. This time it feel in the better than average but not great. Not sure I will go back again.
The food was good but prices were high. Liked the roof top dining area which is why we tried the restaurant
I thought the man candy salad was creative and VERY tasty. We went to Ignite before the Rockies game; great location, pleasant and prompt service, and good value for the money.
I made a reservation and we requested to sit on the rooftop. When we got there, the manager told us the rooftop was full and we had to sit downstairs (which was empty). After 10 minutes, we went up to check and the rooftop had a ton of availability so we moved up there. They tried to apologize for lying but the rest of the meal felt awkward. The food was good, but not worth all the hassle.
The food was outstanding. Our waiter seemed checked out despite the restaurant not being busy.
Love this place before a Rockies game. The food is really great! I had the tuna poke bowl and it was fresh and delicious. The others in my group had everything from a burger to a cobb salad with grilled chicken, (not overcooked, by the way!), to the deviled eggs with bacon and jalapeño. Service and cocktails exceeded my expectations.
Nice place. We did happy hour menu. Wings were good and fries awesome. Kids plates were very small and the burger seemed to have 1/3 of a regular patty.
We were excited to try the frosé on the rooftop bar and it was a special for the day. The rooftop was too warm to enjoy our drinks on and the frosé machine was essentially broken so I was a little disappointed. I got the strawberry lemonade vodka cocktail instead and it was very good. We ended up going downstairs to eat and took our drinks with us and we were told they would be transferred to our food bill. Instead of them being transferred, they were double made downstairs. We were never offered the drinks or when ready for another, asked if we wanted another round. Instead they were taken to another table. After finally getting our food, and enjoying it at first, I found a hair in my black bean burger. Most of it was eaten at that point so it seemed pointless to send it back. The service was not special or spectacular and the restaurant was not busy for any point we were there as it just cleared out for the ballgame. I was disappointed with the whole experience and will not go back when I visit Denver again. I also would not recommend it to family or friends.
The man candy was amazinh
Burgers good as alway - went the the Colorado. Also tried their chicken Cobb and was thoroughly impressed. The chicken was cooked perfectly and a sizable portion.
I was actually pretty impressed with their brunch menu and appreciated that they provided lunch options as well. I went for Sunday brunch on a double date and we all enjoyed our food. The service was a bit slow, particularly the bar, and I don't know that I would recommend the bottomless mimosa - it was very heavy on the OJ. But overall, a pretty good experience. They weren't busy at all, so we got seated quickly, which was surprising to me for Sunday brunch. The portions were a good size too, not so small that you left hungry, but not so big that you needed to go boxes. Everything felt fresh & healthy too. Liked the layout of the place as well.
We had to bring our 5 year olds along on our date but it worked out great. We loved sitting on the patio and the food was amazing! Loved loved the Brussel sprouts! We will be back!
Great Happy Hour spot to meet with colleagues. Fun drink menu and tasty apps!
I always go out of my way in Denver to go to Ignite just for their frosé it is so so so good!!
