Service was horrible , took forever to get anything. Food was horrible cold butter for lobster , and the most ridiculous dessert for such a high end restaurant, literally a small waffle cone filled with some store bought Oreo filling:( Multiple people complaining to the managers as they basically laughed in their faces! Then also have you piece of paper when you sat down telling you that you have 90 mins , they could not even get us served in 90 min. The only good part about this experience was the DJ
It was my fifth STK. Great food and service with a fun atmosphere. I go here purposely because of that and the DJ
It’s loud and expensive. The food is good. Probably won’t go back.
We sat in outdoor dining on sidewalk tent. They tried to make it look nice but it was loud. We went for restaurant week. Decent selection on menu and the $45 was worth it with upgrades if wanted. Steak was seared nicely and rare cook was on spot.
It was nice...funny environment...great music..will go back!
Restaurant week food was not on par with any other fine dinning restaurant in Denver. Examples capital grille, Eddie vs. my “10oz” fillet”Was Not a 10 oz fillet. 6-7 at the most.
But the dessert! Who approved this?! 2 sugar cones with a sad “cheesecake filling” with Oreo crumbs thrown on a plate.! Also 2 on a plate which no one ate! Horrible! I llove and have been to so many stk’s Vegas, New York, orlando , Miami. This is not an stk. I wanted to love it. But couldn’t.
Absolutely the worst meal of my life!! We ordered ribeye and it was so thin it was truly comical. We’ve ordered Outback kid’s meals that were better. The fact the kitchen would send this out really speaks volumes about STK.
Took over an hour to get our food. Understandable for a Friday night, but the service was well below average for the cost. Food was mediocre, could barely hear conversation over the music. Kind of disappointed.
To put it simple, this place is just not worth the time and money. First, the place gives off a pretentious vibe. Even though we made a reservation for 8:15, we still had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. The bread that they brought to the table was the driest bread I’ve ever had. They were out of several of the appetizers and wine that we selected. I had the Delmonico steak with asparagus, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. All were just ok. Not bad, but simply not worth the price point (our tab was about $550 for 3 people). Overall, this place is all flash and no substance. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially when considering the thousands of other great restaurants in Denver.
Very mediocre food for the cost. Steak was very bland which is probably why they asked you to choose a sauce. The normal STK sauce tastes too similar like ketchup. Our waitress was nice, but overall I’d recommend finding another steakhouse for the cost you’re paying.
Extremely loud. Terribly long wait for the table and food. They lay a flyer down on your table that you have 90 minutes to eat but at 90 minutes you still haven’t received you meal and you have that ugly large paper to look at. Obnoxious manager who made inappropriate jokes about poor service and when i agreed with him he gave me attitude. Such a weird experience. Not coming back for sure!
So amazing!!! From the greet, to the atmosphere, to the service, food, EVERYTHING!!! Go here and experience greatness!!!!
Emily, our server, was fabulous. Food was excellent! Cut of the ribeye was a bit thin, but that could have been because it was the Restaurant Week menu. We loved the outside tent seating, felt very COVID-safe. I really hope they keep it! I'll be back for happy hour for sure!
Food is Always Great❤️Great Chefs
Fun place You Will Love It❤️
Went for restaurant week. Food was incredible. Good service
The music was very loud....difficult to converse with others at the table. Wine for happy hour was great1. Cheesecake cones for dessert were less than tasty.
Had the coffee rub steak on the prixe fix menu and was disappointed. Lacked flavor and was a bit dry.
Burrata was delicious. One of them didn’t have salt and pepper on the top like the others. We asked for some and added it ourselves. No biggie. I was hoping for crostini instead of croutons, but it was tasty. Timing wasn’t well managed. Entree was out before we were done with the first course. Disappointing that the upgraded steaks didn’t have even fritas or simple side. Again timing wasn’t good. Wine pairing with entree was later than entree arrival. Steak was good. Salmon was overdone and relatively bland. Broccolini was yummy. Dessert didn’t match the description. It was good though. Again, timing was bad. Dessert arrived, we waited, billed arrived, still didn’t have wine pairing that went with dessert until we asked for it.
Good choice of wines by the glass. Maple rubbed salmon on tomatoes and greens was good. Salmon had an olive mix on top (no comment). Greens were fantastic! I asked what they were sautéed in and it was the piquillo peppers that did the trick.
This was the worst “fine” dining experience and overall restaurant experience I have had in Denver. The staff was rude and unhelpful. They did not honor their menu items (menu says burrata comes with sourdough but they brought us stale croutons on instead and said that the burrata never came with sourdough) My boyfriend ordered a ribeye and CLEARLY got something closer to a flank steak. They didn’t clear any dishes between courses. The music was so loud it was hard to have a conversation and felt like we were in a club. Overall will never come back and will not recommend to a friend.
Had a reservation for 8:45, arrived at 8:30 didn’t get seated until 9:20. Our server had a really bad attitude and was rude. Never asked if we wanted another round of drinks, check on us after we had finished our food. It was not a great first impression.
The only plus was the manager took care of our first round of drinks do to us being sat late for our reservation.
Great place. Easy reservation and the manager was very helpful with special requests.
We booked a table for 830...party of ten for a surprise proposal. Waitress seemed over whelmed. Drinks slow to come out , food slow to come out. Our waitress lost our order so she had to retake the order. Our food didn’t come out until 11.
Thank god the mood changed when we got food. The proposal ended up being perfect but the service was not good.
Waited OVER 2 hours for food to arrive.. and then it was cold!!
Don’t mind paying those prices for an exceptional steak dinner But WHAT WE EXPERIENCED WAS FAR FROM EXCEPTIONAL... wasn’t even marginally good...
Will NOT GO BACK! Ever!!
Our server was great but she had two other large tops at the same time. Our party couldn’t be seated until the person that was running late arrived and then our table still wasn’t ready 15 minutes later. The food was ok but definitely not worth the price. Would not recommend it to others or come back.
Fun atmosphere. Nice people. Drink prices are outrageous. Food was good not great. Some portions are small.
The food was not worth the price at all. Even if we paid half as much it wouldn’t have been worth it. It also took 30 minutes for our appetizers to come out and then another 45 minutes for our entrees. And it was only two of us and the place was almost empty at the time. The manager came over to “talk” to us because we asked where our food was and all he said was “how is everything tasting” when we told him the side of asparagus was raw he took it away and didn’t say anything or take it off our bill. Do not recommend this place to anyone.
Loved this place. It had the best steak I've ever eaten. The environment was pretty swanky, and the service was excellent. Great place for a date.
Over the last 10-12 years i’ve been to STK 15-20 times and this will be my last visit.
The quality across of all products is very poor. While the tomahawk steak was great, the free bread was rock hard, the shrimp was still frozen, the lil burgers buns were rock hard and the patty’s were dry. On top of that our waiter was really rude, short, seemed burnt out and over worked.
It’s a bummer, I liked their concept and always have had fun at the different locations across the US but I would strongly suggest you avoid STK, at least the Denver location.
The fillet was so tender and flavorful. It was amazing. I tasted the risotto OMG! It was the best thing I have had. Loved the brussel sprouts.
Extremely disappointed and won't be back. The worst dining experience in recent memory
The food was rather bland. For the money, it’s better spent elsewhere. Drinks were great but overpriced. It was definitely a club-like atmosphere and energetic.
Not my cup of tea but I could see why ppl enjoy. It’s a part environment. Food was pretty good, service was great. Just loud like a club.
Very poor restaurant week experience
Over priced for the quality... upgraded to specials were not worth it
The venue plays music very loud. So loud that you have to shout at your table mate to be heard. There are speakers and tvs throughout the restaurant, like a sports bar.
The food was fair for the price. We had the ahi tuna tacos that lacked any flavor. The steak was good, but not great. The steak was $65 and was not even prime cut. The mushroom risotto was savory but also lacked any truffle flavor. The Parmesan truffle fries were cooked to perfection, and also lacked any flavor.
Expensive and underwhelming meal.
Teal was my server and she was great, also recommended to come see her in the LA. I love the atmosphere at STK Denver, it was fun and easy. I will return if I'm ever back in Denver.
The food was good but definitely not worth the price. The atmosphere was a little club-y
Music was insanely loud. Took an hour and 20 minutes just to get appetizers to the table at 8 pm on a Thursday. Won’t be coming back.
Excelent ambience DJ superb amazing.
Service very good
Fud High cuality
