STK never fails! Great atmosphere and service
My husband and I came to Denver to explore a bit. We were in the mood for some good steak so we headed over to STK. We both got the wagyu filets. My piece was pretty much all fat. His piece was all meat. The sides were flavorful, but the steak unfortunately was just ok. I couldn’t eat mine since it was all fat, my husband ate his though, but again, it wasn’t packed with flavor. The vibe indoors was like a lounge with a live DJ. Outside was more chill and we could hear each other talk.
We had made reservations and called to confirm. We arrived but had to wait 15 mins to be seated. When we did, it was on their patio which was chilly. It took about 30 mins to receive our $100+ bottle of wine. We had to constantly ask for items like silverware, refills for water and it just wasn’t the best $600+ experience at a restaurant. I unfortunately won’t return.
We made reservations for 2 which turned out to be a small high top in the bar. The space between tables was very limited as we continually got bumped into not only be people passing through but also by people at other tables. Took us roughly 15 minutes to finally get our drinks and another 15 minutes before the “complementary” bread arrived. 15 minutes after that, we got a Caesar salad which had more salt than lettuce. We told the server of the salty Caesar and he said that he would take it off the bill. By the time the main course arrived, the server gave us a 6oz filet instead of a 10 oz. Instead of leaving the steak, he took it back while leaving us with one entree. He brought back a rare 10oz filet even thought we ordered medium well. When we finally got the bill, the Caesar was still on the bill. I would recommend any other steak house over this….including Outback Steakhouse.
My music and ambiance was the favorite. Dinner was great, we weren’t rushed and enjoyed our time.
So disappointed brunch at Denver was not even close to how Vegas or Phoenix brunches were. No one there at 11, DJ was late, lobster overcooked.
Great food and our server was amazing! So happy to spend my birthday at this location
Everything was very average, except the price. I expected more. Nothing was bad, but nothing stood out.
Super fun place. We love the vibe, the music, the decor and the food. Great for a Saturday night out with friends. Even we had a reservation we had to wait for our table for 40 minutes because it was really busy. Our waitress was nice but we had to wait for long periods for her to come check on us.
Staff was friendly, Fun atmosphere. However it took forever for us to get our food. Or people to take your order. We had to walk to the bar to ask for drinks. They had a live violinist That played over the DJ. Not a good mix. Food was good stuff is extremely friendly I just think they need to move faster at stick with DJ only.
Staff was awesome!! The house was giving out complimentary drinks. It was a great time.
Obviously popular and others may like it, but I found it wanting. Music way too loud. Initial table was freezing due to location. When I told waiter it would affect his tip, we were moved. Steaks were smaller than on menu, and manager offered minimal compensation. Service spotty. Food was generally good. Not worth the prices.
Great service by Jordan. Would go back because of him. Overpriced and dirty floors
Steak was super salty. Veggies burnt. 1/10 out of all the experiences I’ve had
Great place for celebrating a special occasion. The cheesecake was delicious and so was the steak. Skip the asparagus.
Awesome experience. Very good service.
We had a great meal, wonderful service and loved the DJ. Fun, delicious meal.
Nice place, super expensive
What an experience! The food was great. The service was great and I’m so glad we got to dine here.
My husband ordered a medium rare ribeye. It came pretty well done. I urged him to send it back because he wasn't even close to what he wanted. The waiter agreed that it was over cooked and took it back. What was served to him next was a blue steak that was literally cold in the middle and barely cooked on each side. He is incredibly conflict averse, and would never send back a second steak (neither of us have ever sent a steak back), but this was $100 ribeye, that he ordered medium rare, and should not be hard for this steak house to achieve (twice). Incredibly disappointed. We paid over 500 for steak dinner where the steak was awful for him.
Had new year dinner, they seated us outside. Never tried to get us in even though they told us they would. Server was terrible, unresponsive and not helpful. They say their food is enough for dinner but very small and not great taste. You would expect much more for a $87 bone in filet. I would never return and would never ever recommend it. I would not be surprised if they go out of business. In a nut shell vary bad value and terrible service.
Tasteless steak for $69.
Music is loud like a disco in the 1980’s.
Calamari is a small portion for $29.
Disappointed for a NYE celebration.
Great experience, server was great, steak was great
Very nice staff loved the food drinks ! Umm amazing!
Brussels sprouts and sea bass were absolutely swimming in a syrupy sauce. Sliders were over cooked. Prices are just completely insane for food quality. Overall pretty disappointed.
Our server Jon was wonderful. Service was well timed and tasted great.
Restaurant is trying to project the image of high quality (you see this in how they price their menu!). Unfortunately, the waitstaff has an average “outback steakhouse” type image. If you want to be high quality, it can’t be only with the atmosphere and the menu prices. It needs to be the whole package. Price paid does not match the value we received. Sorry. We will not return.
The service was absolutely wonderful! The food was a huge disappointment.
I felt like massively overpriced. There is no need to pay $30 for tuna appetizer that contains 80% of avocado. Steaks were mediocre for price around $80-100. I would never go back
Excelente servicio, lugar hermoso, muy padre el ambiente y decoración, los colores, la comida muy buena y el servicio del personal Excelente 👌
Slow, indifferent service in an atmosphere of pop music far too loud to permit reasonable table conversation, and no sign of apology or accommodation when called to anyone’s attention. “That’s the vibe we’re going for,” was the only comment offered. The iceberg salad, short rib, and corn pudding were delicious, but the Spinalis steak ($72) and Brussels sprouts ($18) were mediocre at best, and a ripoff for the price. This was our first time at STK, but It’s unlikely we’ll go back or send our friends.
My son and I were celebrating Christmas dinner at STK. The atmosphere was sooo festive and the decor was very upscale. The food was amazing, the music was very good and kept us entertained. I definitely see myself coming here for drinks and mingling as well. The wait was a little long but the environment kept you entertained so the wait didn’t seem so long. Top notch.
Family Christmas Dinner while on vacation.
Christmas dinner and our first time at STK Denver and it's safe to say we likely will not ever go back. In short, the food was beyond horrible and definitely not worth the cost. Our steaks were cold and overall seemed of poor quality. The lobster tail with my surf and turf was poorly prepared and was a mere 2oz at best. The crispy brussel sprouts were far from it. They were barely warm and aside from the sort of crispy, though tough, outside leaves, were complete mush. Easily the worst brussel sprouts I've ever had. The parmesan crust on the mashed potatoes was burnt. The only saving grace for this review is that our server was wonderful and the ambiance energetic, lending itself to a fun evening. We particularly enjoyed the DJ and the fun little parade of servers with sparklers handing out free shots of something tasty. I understand it was an extremely busy night (kudos to everyone working on the holiday), but that is no excuse for the food quality to be diminished, particularly when paying almost $500 for a dinner for three. I say diminished because I'm giving STK the benefit of the doubt and assuming they normally do a good job. Overall, I say save your money and go somewhere else.
Food was great, but I music was soo loud could not have a conversation.. Lower the volume!
Great food but the music was SO LOUD we could barely hear the people at our table. It was more like a dance club with food on the side. We were hoping for a nice quiet Christmas day meal but the loud dance club music totally ruined the evening. I mean, it wasn't even Christmas music. Would not go back. The food was WAY WAY overpriced for what we got. My husband ordered King Crab legs. He got 4 TINY legs for $75. Total rip off.
