   It seems they may have been short staffed in both the kitchen and restaurant. It took a long time to get our meals. The chicken dinner was very salty. Our server was very nice.

   The salad bar is back but not as good as it once was. They changed the recipe for the Portuguese Bean Soup and it is not as good as it once was. The Bar service was great. The Prime rib was well prepared. The worst part of the night was when the fire alarm went off.

   We visited Smugglers on a Friday night at 7:00 pm The place was crowded which might explain why we waited 75 minutes for our order. The salad bar was running low or was out of several toppings (like pumpkin seeds) The sign said Iceberg Lettuce but it was clearly Romaine. They used to have a bernaise sauce as an add-on to Prime Rib, but that was removed from the menu for reasons unknown. We ordered several soft-drinks which were served in the smallest glasses they could find and it too our waitress several minutes (between 10 to 15) to bring us a refill which because of the small glasses, she had to do multiple times. Bad planning on so many levels.

   Had a new server who didn’t know how to open a bottle of wine. I had to show the server how to uae the corkscrew. Staff should be trained better before they are let loose on the patrons to serve.

   Went at 5pm. I ordered prime rib medium rare which came as an end piece (impossible for an end to be medium rare) and was grilled not from a roast. This made the meat really dry. In addition we ordered a baked potato and a waitress brought the toppings to the table- no butter and had to ask for it. We had to ask again 10 minutes later and when it was finally delivered it was frozen and by this time our potatoes were cold so the butter sat as a clump. I did not receive a refill on my water- we were not asked if we were there for a special occasion- we were not asked if our dinners were ok. All in all a bad experience. In addition, salad bar was an extra $9. Don’t waste your - money for the price not worth the visit.

   It was an amazing brunch experience! Everything was perfect from the food to the ambience and to our super friendly and attentive server Marvin! Highly recommend!

    Prior to the advent of COVID-19, we frequently dined at this establishment for dinner. Consequently, we decided to explore their breakfast buffet. Regrettably, the experience did not meet our expectations. While the prime rib was satisfactory, the remaining offerings were merely adequate. The selection of cold cuts and cheeses was limited and of poor quality, the thawed desserts were subpar, the regular bacon and sausages were unremarkable, and the ham Benny was disappointing. Notably, the establishment failed to provide waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, or yogurt, which are standard accompaniments, especially considering the $81 price point for two individuals.
