Serene Cuisine of India
DENVER’S NEWEST AUTHENTIC INDIAN RESTAURANT.
At Serene Cuisine of India, we serve Denver diners with a dazzling array of Indian dishes prepared in traditional methods honed over the centuries.
Traditional Indian food almost always uses fresh ingredients and involves making dishes from scratch, which means fewer preservatives and overall healthier food. Indian cooking uses spices like turmeric, ginger, garlic, and green chilies – all of which have medicinal and healing properties. So in addition to being “spicy”, the spices used are actually good for the body and don’t just taste nice.
Great experience. We’re regulars. Great care in food preparation. Excellent value.
Shish kabob was excellent and a very good value. Tons of chicken and veggies. Masala and rice on side. Cooked perfectly in tandoori oven. Thanks.
I have to say I was expecting more from all the five star reviews. My yellow lentil vegetarian dish was entirely puréed into a soup consistency. The spices were not vibrant and it was a small portion. I was so disappointed. The cilantro garlic naan was very good. The ambiance is missing too.
First visit excellent food, menu ad service.
Like the food and atmosphere. The dishes could of had more meat.
Lamb curry and saag with chicken were both decent, though the flavors could have been more forceful. Both dishes needed salt. Garlic naan was good. Reasonable prices, friendly service.
Great food, lovely spot. Papadoms were a bit too oily, everything else was divine. Yum!
Nice ambiance and good food
First anniversary, our server made us feel special. Food was authentic, loved it. Also our server was exceptional.
Fabulous experience once again. Fast becoming our favorite Denver restaurant. As soon as they add a host/hostess and a dedicated bartender, they will have no flaws. I can’t imagine having better Indian food. A pleasure.
Best Indian food we’ve had in Denver, by a long shot. Every dish was excellent, fresh and perfectly spiced. The garlic naan was perfect, too! The service was not so perfect, but the servers and staff were very nice, and apologetic about the missing items. We have already been back for more, and the different food was equally excellent! This will be our go-to Indian food restaurant in Denver!
Best Vindaloo and Massa I’ve had in Denver. We will certainly return!
The staff was all friendly and nice. I think it would be a fine place for lunch, but not so much for dinner. The restaurant is bright and clean but does not have much ambiance. The food is OK but certainly not great, and the presentation is very basic. There were only a handful of tables filled when we were there for dinner between 6:30 and 8:30.
Excellent quality Indian Food.
Fabulous food! Service was excellent , really nice people! Our new go to place! Momos were great! Chicken korma was outstanding! Vindaloo was delicious as well!
Delicious! Really enjoyed the meal and the service!
Don’t miss this opportunity to have authentic Indian food...
Enjoyed. Will be back. Clean. Quiet. Fresh food.
Great, new Indian restaurant, probably our new favorite in Denver! Restaurant is still very new, so it seemed they are still ironing out a few kinks on the service side. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. We'll be back!
I am so happy we have an fantastic Indian restaurant near my house. This amazing find opened just a week ago and is worth checking out. The restaurant in located in the old Four Friends space near Denver University.
The menu is inspired by the Mughlai empire. The food is rich in flavor and cooked with aromatic spices, and sometime nuts, and dried fruits. You still have options of Indian favorites like: butter chicken, saag (palak) paneer, tikka masala.
At lunch you can get Mumbai frankies; think of it as an Indian burrito grilled meats wrapped in naan.
On our first visit, we had mini samosa. These little gems were filled with potatoes. The house made chutney that accompany it were amazing. The tamarind sauce was a raspberry color, and had a good balance of sweet and sour.
The palak paneer is rich and creamy, with the earthiness from the spinach. The homemade cheese is amazing.
The Murgh Makhani aka Butter Chicken was slathered in a flavorful tomato gravy. The flavors of red chilli, garam masala and ginger and garlic were well balanced. I love that they use dry fenugreek leaves with this dish, which brings out a nutty and sweet flavor.
I definitely will be back!
The food was very fresh and delicious! The wait staff were very sweet.
