Root Down and the Edible Beats Family (Root Down, Linger, Vital Root & El Five) are very grateful to welcome you to our restaurant.

Our menu features eclectic, globally-influenced seasonal cuisine, with a focus on organic, natural and locally-sourced ingredients.

Our interior dining space has the classic vibe of a neighborhood restaurant, while our large main patio offers picturesque views of the near neighborhood and downtown skyline.

Reservations are available online at ediblebeats.com, as well as OpenTable. We happily accept walk-ins as availability allows.

Our space is available for private events year round, please inquire with us directly for information.

Please be aware we are located in a residential area, and parking is available in the near neighborhood, along with a small paid-lot located directly across the street from our location.

    Loved the food, friendly staff, but we were RUSHED through dinner. We had a reservation, arrived on time, there were some empty tables, but we still were pushed by staff. We had to ask them to slow down (even ordered the appetizer and ate it before ordering dinner), give us a minute, not take our plates yet (twice). Two drinks each, appetizer, entrees and we were out in 62 minutes. NOT a special experience. $193 tab (including tip) and left to to somewhere else to enjoy our evening. Sadly not sure we would return. Too expensive to feel pushed and rushed and churned.

    Cocktail were tasty and interesting! Shared arepas were fantastic! The daily special was really Outstanding! Service was a little slow but good and friendly. Would go back

    Incredible ambiance and knowledgeable and attentive staff make this place a gem. The food was incredible and so much thought went into crafting the menu. We had 2 people in our group with dietary restrictions and accommodation was so simple. Thank you all.

    Outstanding service and food! Everything about the place is ten stars. Watch your bill. they charge 6% which is about $10 per bill so I took 20% tip minus 10$ and left that for a tip.
