Located in an historic miner's cabin on Pearl Street, River and Woods serves Colorado Comfort Cuisine. The culinary team prepares whimsical interpretations of traditional comfort food and a carefully curated boutique bar program rounds out the River and Woods experience.     The place is quaint and cozy. The challah bread would have been better warmed, but the flavored butter was good. We got the deviled eggs which were tasty. The wagyu beef was not edible. It was very gristly. The server comped the app and gave us dessert, but it didn’t offset the disappointment of the steak. The salad was as small and so so. Too bad. We really wanted to like it.

    River and Woods is one of our favorites, and this visit did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service was even better. Gabby is a fantastic server who is clearly interested in making sure her guests have a great experience, and Maddie is super knowledgeable about wine and is super customer-oriented. We look forward to returning...

    The service was great but the food was very mediocre, except for the burger. Everything else was extremely overpriced for what it was - pretzel appetizer was $9 for very small amount, Bacon wrapped dates as well had very small portions. The fries were not fresh and the presentation of the BBQ short ribs was messy and unappealing.

    Amazing dinner. Our server Maddie was excellent. This was our best meal during our stay in Boulder. Get a selection of the smaller dishes and ask the bar manager to create a delicious cocktail for you. Sit in the annex it has has a great vibe.
