Not only was the hostess very confused but after we sat it took forever for a server to come over. After we all ordered and waited for food for almost 20 minutes the server came back to tell us they were out of what we ordered. We then waited another 30 minutes to finally get food after changing our order to something they did have. Over all it was very expensive for very little food. I dont know anywhere else that serves breakfast in Boulder where it takes 50 minutes to receive your food. I would understand if they were busy but after looking around we were one of only 7 or so tables in the whole restaurant. Probably will not return. Plus side is the outdoor seating is great.
Delicious flavors, fresh ingredients, beautifully presented.
Good place interesting menu, changes now and then. Back patio was too hot for us to try out. Had to ask twice for the waiter to bring my beer. The ceasar salad was perfect, as were the happy hour deviled eggs.
Super cute patio, and the food was delicious. We tried a few wines by the glass and all were excellent!
What a surprise and delight. We met friends for dinner. All of us enjoyed our meal and shared deserts. The menu was varied and interesting. Something for everyone. The food was very tasty and everything seemed like a new and different version of what we normally would have. The presentation was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful!
We very much enjoyed our dinner; however, the table for 4 outside was set too close to the cushions, and my husband had trouble getting out, and scratched his leg.
The food was very good, fresh and tasty, with a good selection available. We were seated early, at 5:45 PM, along with many other folks, so it was busy already. in the beginning the service was a bit slow, as so many people arrived at the same time, but improved throughout the meal. I seemed as though more wait people showed up throughout the meal, perhaps they were not expecting so many people eating, so early. We really enjoyed the food, and the atmosphere was relaxing, will be back again.
Great gluten free options, n o dedicated fryer so check closely on items that could be fried. Food was excellent!
Three girlfriends out to celebrate a birthday had the perfect evening on Friday. The service was attentive but not intrusive, our meals were delicious (two of us had the trout the third person had the chicken with zucchini pasta(?) The churros however..... sent us back for a second order. Omg!!!! As if it couldn’t get any better though, the guitar player made our little celebration extra special!! Thank you
Food was outstanding with lots of variety on the menu. Service was a bit slow, but it's a small kitchen and the dog friendly patio was lovely place to relax.
Fabulous food and service. Outdoor dining is definitely more crowded in the summer time inside is cool and quiet her for being able to talk. Love this place!
Very small menu , seating is uncomfortable , service was incredibly slow. On the plus side, our waitress was nice and friendly, checked on us frequently, and the food was fine.
Amazing food in a town that has so many great restaurants. We sat outside in the lovely backyard.
Was a fantastic dinner and service. Couldn’t ask for better.
What a great restaurant. We liked it so much we went back the next time to try something different. Beware though the cocktails are lethal
Truly enjoyed the coziness and “woodsy” theme throughout the restaurant. Simple and comfortable. The meal was delicious and unique. Overall, an enjoyable evening!
Such a great restaurant with amazing food and wine selection.
Visiting Boulder for the day and decided to check out this restaurant. So glad we did bc not only was the food great but it was super cute and was a great place for a weekend brunch!
We look forward to coming back soon. Great food and service!
Outstanding, unique food choices. Quaint location. The type of place you search for but rarely find.
Short ribs are amazingly delicious. I recommend sitting outside; such a great atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was creative and well prepared. The staff was friendly and efficient. The ambiance was quaint and comfortable. Great place for a date night!
A bit disappointed by this visit...many menu claims were untrue, ie, local western slope fruit on a salad came with orange and grapefruit, chiogga beets were regular beets, and the slaw was hard and inedible, ie, raw kohlrabi that wasn't blanched or softened and pretty unpleasant in a slaw...couldn't really eat it...i hope they up their game since i had heard good things...
I would improve the seating. Softer more comfortable chairs
The food was prepared well and interesting, the ambiance was unique, and service was efficient and very friendly. It definitely deserves a return trip!
Seated outside at 5p seating despite inside request. 93 degrees outside and very uncomfortable but the inside seating was virtually empty. Food ok but not a great menu. Service adequate but not friendly. As a local I am not sure I would return, especially if it was important.
Great ambience and fun menu.. everything is fresh and has that extra touch to show that the kitchen takes pride! Even the small dinner salad was great!
The woman playing accordion and singing outside really added to the ambiance. John’s gnocchi with side of braised rib is unbelievable. We loved it!
Exceptional service and delicious meal!
Excellent food. Friendly and knowledgeable staff a little slow on refills and pretty chilly inside. Some really excellent coffee, I was sad I never saw it steam. Could have been a fluke or due to how chilly the restaurant was. Overall great experience and wonderful food!
Food was delicious! Especially the duck wings! Drinks were overpriced and underdelivered. Overall a great experience though!
We had a very pleasant experience on Father’s Day. Delicious food! The service was excellent despite of the restaurant being so full of people. Red wine on tap less than average. We will return for more!
Food great - service spotty
Always inspired cuisine, warm attentive service, and a place I'm proud to take out of town guests. Truly best in class.
Everything we ate was delicious and expertly executed as usual. Make a reservation, as the place gets busy. The entire wait staff that we interacted with were warm and kind.
Really excellent menu. Everything we had was delicious. Try the gnocchi. service was very good as well.
We love this restaurant. Food on the menu is selected carefully - the ingredients are as local as possible, which I appreciate and which means that everything is wonderfully fresh. Really good cocktails. Nice beer list. I had the trout and it was prepared perfectly. My dining companion had the magic color changing cocktail and it was really fun. I loved the radish garnish in my tequila cocktail.
Tree-themed decor - so nice. It seems like parking would be an issue, but none of us had any trouble finding a spot. The bike rack was actually the biggest problem.
Go to this restaurant. Super good.
The restaurant is lovely. It has a wonderful large backyard patio. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. My friend loved her veggie burger. My lunch was less successful: the cold-smoked salmon seemed more like hot-smoked. It was tough. They replaced it with chicken, which was over- cooked and had no flavor. Other dishes looked great. They need to revisit this salad. The waiter was courteous and concerned. I would still highly recommend this place as one bad meal does not mean much.
This was a cute restaurant with good food, but the service was a bit lacking. Our server seemed overwhelmed and drinks and food took a very long to come to the table. For a $100+ dinner for 2 I would expect a little better service.
