A super place with some intersting and sometimes highly unique and creative dishes. I love the smoked cholocate at the end, never got that anywhere before. The Sommelier was a charming and knowledgeable man, the 1997 Biondi Santi he recommended to go with the filet was absolutely awesome.

We enjoyed Petrus. We had the chef's choice menu and it was very good. We paired it wine and the wines were great choices to go with the courses. Service was great. At the end of the meal we thought about an after dinner port and decided we had enough and to our surprise they brought us a glass of a Sauternes.

Wow, how awful was this!! The French barman/sommelier was extremely rude (no idea why) the way he just threw the wine into my glass and walked sternly off without ANY word or even waiting for my approval of the wine no nothing. (Barolo, from Piedmont Italy) superb. We were seated at 6.30pm and ordered our vege tasting menu 6.40pm our very first morsul of food arrive after 7.30pm... we were starving so didn't really fuss and apart from the 2 freebies at the start and the bread and the 2 veg starter plates all else was awful. The spelt/mushroom main was overly salted along with the linguini dish. We complained of nothing whilst there and kind of left them to it. The place seemed to be filling out nicely with diners so no point in causing any commotion. The bill arrived and was a whopping £347.... what a waste of money and also made us miss our movie as the whole nightmare lasted until after 9.30pm... I can safely say I'll not be visiting here again anytime soon.

Tremendous again apart from the sommelier from Naples who clearly and vocally did not want to be there!!! Even one of his colleagues mentioned how miserable he was at the table.

I bought this as a present for my partner's 30th birthday and it was everything and more than we had expected. We would definitely go back for another special occasion
