After years of seeing uneven reviews about this restaurant, we made a last minute decision to dine here after learning that the restaurant had been reopened with a new menu/focus. The dining room was beautiful, clean and quiet (only a few other tables were occupied) but the space isn't large to begin with. The staff were welcoming and polite, and the prix fixe menu was simple and well-thought out. The house salad was excellent, and so was the flatiron steak. The attentiveness of the staff dropped off precipitously near the end of the meal, but it did appear that there were only three waitstaff and two tables did order the bananas foster which necessitates the table side show, so that probably took up a lot of time and effort. Still, they had been quick to clean the table and then suddenly there was a long wait for dessert and then again to pay after the check was dropped off. Hoping that as their open days expand and the word gets out that the menu has been refocused that they will get better paced. I will certainly give them another opportunity.

We were the only guests on a Friday night. I was happy to hear that they are going to revamp their menu and price points. It’s too historic and wonderful to have it close.

Food was mediocre but not bad. Service was good but we were the only people in the restaurant at 7 pm on a Friday. I really wanted to like this place more.

Lovely environment and service. Portions were a bit small for the price, but the food was delicious and excellent quality. Cocktails were very creative. The staff were wonderful, and very knowledgeable about the palace (they even shared a few ghost stories). Our server, Mike, took great care of us for my partner's birthday!

It was weird. Prime dining time, only one other table in use. Steak was ok, nearly all else would have been better elsewhere. $100 per

We had a wonderful family dinner at the Palace Arms. Our server was very nice, knowledgeable and attentive. Ambience and food were amazing. I loved my Chilean sea bass. We didn’t celebrate anything but this is an excellent place to spend a special occasion.
