Restaurant was not full but had to ask to be seated at a private table. (Most of the small tables are too close together, in a row. No privacy.). We were accommodated, but shouldn’t have to ask. And next redesign, get rid of these too-close-together tables.
The Chefs cheese board was amazing and HUGE for $20. House salad was great and plenty big enough to split. Mushroom pasta was simple but good and spicy copa pizza was delish and big enough for 3-4 people if you are getting starter.
This is my first visit to Denver and this restaurant was recommended and did not disappoint. The soup of the day was creamy tomato basil with kale, and mushrooms - filling and delicious. I eggplant panini is another recommendation. It was of great value $15 as lunch special with variety options and includes a kale salad.
We went to Osteria Marco on Saturday evening. The host staff was very welcoming and kind. We had reservations and were seated immediately. The wait staff was knowledgeable and attentive. The atmosphere was wonderful and the restaurant is a beautiful place. Overall we had a wonderful time and I would be happy to go back sometime.
Been coming to OM for well over ten years, and like the food and ambience. I still don't understand why the burratta is served so cold -- this cheese must be near room temp in order to be creamy and allow the flavors to come out. Now it is always so cold you have to slice it, when it should be something you can spoon.
Seems the Naples-style pizza has been abandoned as the cheese and toppings are seriously overwhelming there is so much (yes there is too much of a good thing). I used to love that you could pick up a slice and enjoy the crust too. Now I had just a pile of cheese that looks like Pizza Hut -- lighten up you guys! Take a note from Cart driver, Pizza Locali and the many other places you can get a lovely delicate pizza. It's sad but we left nearly half of our pizza as we left as it was just too much goo.
Great food! Great service!
Service was not very good and the restaurant has declined over time. The food was the best part but still, we won't be returning.
One of our fav restaurants and certainly amazing Italian food....just kind of noisy and not very private or romantic
meat and cheese platter was great - chopped salad and pasta were so so. We've eaten here before and was good - maybe just poor menu selections. Close to DCPA so would go again.
We have eaten here many times and this visit was as good as usual. The Mushroom and
Robiola pizza is outstanding.
We were very disappointed in the experience. We love this place but perhaps we won't go on NYE again. I think our waiter had already checked out.
New Years eve
This is my go to restaurant when I am in downtown Denver. Most times I sit at the bar. The staff is always very friendly.
Wonderful - couldn’t have been better
Everything was great! We were there during happy hour so we got house-made ricotta and burrata - so delicious! We split a pizza and the bread pudding for dessert. Service was great and the food was amazing. I highly recommend for a fun, low-key date night.
Overall, very tasty.
Outstanding warm service and excellent food
Great food, great service. A little hard to
We asked the waiter for her suggestions — and they were all very good. The Burratta cheese is a must. The calamari was good, but spicy. The weakest part of the meal was the butternut squash pizza — the cheese is very strong and there wasn’t as much butternut as we would have liked. Felt unbalanced... but still good. The house red is lovely too. We will be back.
Food quality has gone down over the past couple years. This last time we had 2 uncooked pizzas delivered. The bartender was apologetic and his service was the only reason we stayed. Since we still have a gift card, we will probably make one more trip but the last couple have been not so great. We used to love this place.
Service was slow and inattentive. Uncooked food. Would not return
Excellent food, great service. Would definitely return.
Food was great and the atmosphere was nice
The food was great but quite overpriced. Nice atmosphere and location.
We were a party of six and everything was timely and nicely presented. Nice ambience and good service. Great place to celebrate an event.
Excellent service and equally good food!!!!
Birthday dinner. We love Osteria Marco. Appetizers, drinks and dessert were amazing. The rabbit entree was okay, but the quinoa salad with chicken was terrible- mushy and too much quinoa, and not enough flavor (needed vinegar or lemon juice). We did not have enough bread for the burrata and requested more - the charged us for it! We spent over $200 for dinner for three and they charged us $1.50 for extra bread. Oh well!
Both hostesses were very rude. Said no tables were available but we were able to make a reservation for 5 minutes later and there were many open tables. Have been there many times before and had this been put first experience we would never go back. Pizza was soggy from sitting for awhile before getting to us and the service was not good.
We each had a salad and the. Got two pizzas to share among 4 of us. The food was delicious! We got the homemade donuts for dessert to share but we were a little perplexed that we didn’t get dessert plates since there was jelly with the donuts for dipping.
It was a good experience and we were able to sit and visit after dinner without feeling rushed to move the table.
We had a fantastic meal. The pesto and ciabatta app was my favorite. The charcuterie plate, chefs choice, was also very good. The noise level wasn’t too loud. Wait wasn’t long for our apps and then meal which were both timed very well. Wine was fantastic! Did not disappoint!
Always an excellent experience at Osteria Marco. Consistent high quality in a wonderful environment made for a festive holiday work lunch.
My favorite restaurant. Consistently good food. The service is great. The ambiance is wonderful. It’s maybe a little pricy but it’s totally worth every penny!
Always a treat to go to Osterio Marco. Love their Monday special.
One of my favorite restaurants in Denver. Always a great time
I was over charged for an extra glass of wine. Should have caught it. Poor service.
We arrived 2 hours in advance of attending the ballet thinking that was plenty of time. The restaurant wasn't that busy and it took an hour to receive our food. We had to inhale it due to being short on time. For the price of the food, it was VERY small portions. Ordered the chicken and mashed potatoes. There was literally a spoonful of potatoes and the green beans were way over cooked. It was not a cheap meal. And it was not good.
Overall, terrible experience. I will not be back.
Family pre. Christmas celebration before Holiday Symphony
Amazing food and service! Everything was delicious and food service was perfectly timed. Thanks for making our engagement celebration as enjoyable as possible.
Osteria Marco is a must try restaurant. This was our first visit, but we will definitely be back. I was impressed that we had a reservation and actually got our table early, though to be fair, the place was packed and loud. Our waitress was super friendly and made awesome wine and food recommendations. Our glasses were never empty and pace and timing were perfect. Must try dishes: the buratta, the lamb meatballs, any of the pizzas! We will be back!
